I was extremely satisfied with the owners of the Madison beach motel who owners the apartments. I was contacted by the motel directly saying that booking through them I could save air bnb fees and they would cut the cleaning fee in half. This year: same apartment cost, same set up, half the size. Very unclean. Ants in the bedroom. More tv issues. Walls look like they had been kicked or rubbed with dirt. Flickering kitchen lights. One light burnt out In bathroom. Dead bugs in dining room light. Dirty underneath beds. Ants found on bedroom walls and bed. Inadequate amount of toilet paper. Two rolls for a two bedroom with four beds. Very disappointed. Management did offer to have someone come out and reclean but that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.m Also vacancy sign said there was vacancy, asked to switch rooms and that was dismissed. Management did not reach out to address my concerns

We stayed for two nights - Wednesday and Thursday and got a great rate as a last minute customer. I checked in Wednesday night and was greeted by the tall euro gent at the front desk - Geo? maybe was his name. I watched him handle a family in front of me and he was very courteous and friendly, making sure to handle all of us in the timely manner with eye contact and a smile. The apartment we rented was nice - two bedrooms with 4 total beds, nice kitchen with laundry and a small bar area. What I like about this place is its proximity to the boardwalk. We didn't have to move our cars or drive anywhere during our stay whatsoever - we walked to boardwalk, walked to food places, walked to different bars etc. so convenient and having parking? Great! There were clean beds, clean floors, lots of space to spread out. Staff was friendly, and our stay went off without a hitch. AC was ice cold - which we made sure to take advantage of. The only drawback was the size of the TVs and the channels - I know you don't go on vacation to watch TV but a bigger tv and some channels for the late night wind down would be huge. Would stay again - thanks OCRooms!

Got to get away and come down to OCM for a few days. Stayed at Atlantis Condominium on the 13th…read morefloor with a beach front view. Upon entering the unit which took almost 30 minutes to figure out the door after using the key don't turn the knob just push the door open. The unit was nice I love the beach decor and how it was decorated. The furniture seemed new which was nice as well. We also had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was nice. The master bedroom was huge, the other bedroom alittle small but cool also. The master bedroom had a bathroom with a tub. The other bedroom had a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Sounds a little backwards but not a big deal. There was also a Sunroom facing the beach where you could dine looking over at the waves rushing the beach, so serene and mesmerizing to watch. There also was a kitchen with a microwave, fridge, stove, coffee pot , toaster fully furnished with utensils and pots/pans. The kitchen was a little dated. The hardware on the cabinets need replacing they're beginning to rust, along with racks in the freezer as well. The unit also had a washing machine and dryer. Had a hard time getting the TVs going and connected to direct tv. The TVs are very cheap and the picture on the screen is moved or doesn't fit the tv it's alittle weird cause when your viewing the guide the left side of the picture is cut off. There were a few little issues management needs to address like one of the blinds is missing in my bedroom, one of the ceramic tiles is broken in the kitchen, the wood is chipped on the frame of the bottom of the bed. I did spray and disinfect the unit upon staying here. I did not see any bedbugs but something did bite my arm, maybe dust mites I'm not sure. But again the place appeared pretty clean and well maintained just a few small things need addressing. Oh one more thing it was kind of windy on some nights and all I could hear at night was whirling from the beach and maybe the height of the unit being on the 13th flr. There is 20 floors in the bldg. Parking was easy since it wasn't peak season yet, not warm enough to use the pool. We came in April .. overall it was a good time.

The view, how easy it was to access the pool and beach areas. The elevators were clean and in working order. There was one morning where the fire alarms were being tested, we were warned in advance and the day of we were up and down to the beach so it didn't phase us. It's good to know they check the important things. I'd say here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The Carousel is in a good location, with great views, in walkable Ocean City. You can see, and can…read morewalk right on to OC's beautiful beach. The boardwalk is beyond walking distance, so you will have to drive and pay to park there, or buy a bus pass. Still, there are other attractions in the immediate area. We stayed in Condo 602, at a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo on the 6th floor of the Carousel. The living room and master bedroom have fantastic ocean views. The master has a king bed, the second two queen beds, and the third 2 singles, so it sleeps 6 comfortably and children can share the beds in the second bedroom. The beds in this particular condo were firm and comfortable. The condo is great for families, extended families, three couples, and groups of friends, but not cost efficient for just one couple. For groups of at least four, the number this condo accommodates makes it as cost efficient as you can get in the current market. We were three couples who are friends. The couple who took the master bedroom paid more of the bill than the other two. You can also walk to a Food Lion supermarket right across the street, and to a range of restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped. You can cook from scratch, store food, and supplement a takeout order, thus making dining over a week-long vacation convenient and cost efficient. The common area is enough room for a group of people to hang out in. There is an open plan with kitchen, dining area and living room, plus a furnished balcony that runs the length of the entire condo (living room and master bedroom). You can access the balcony from both rooms. The east-facing windows are floor to ceiling, comprising the entire eastern exposure. This adds to the ambiance and provides a great ocean view. You can sit at a picnic table on the bay-side deck. You can watch the sun set in the west if you get tired of looking at the ocean in the east. There are negative reviews that note that the Carousel is older and noisy, but most of the these relate to the hotel rooms rather than the condos. I read that the lower hotel portion is noisy with various activities going on, but the 6th floor is above all that. Still, there are some caveats: The hotel is boisterous and seems geared for families with children, but not for romantic get-aways. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms lack views, unlike the master, which has an ocean view. The internet is slow. During busy times, the elevators get busy. We occasionally walked down 5 flights. The boardwalk is beyond walking distance, so you will have to drive or buy a bus pass. Still, the Carousel is a good base of operations for a beach vacation. The 3-bedroom condo on the 6th floor at the Carousel was convenient, comfortable and as cost efficient as you can get in the current market. If we can get another group together, we will happily return.

The beach, restaurants, shops, and everything you need are right there. We stayed in a beachfront condo on the 15th floor. The view was absolutely incredible and made waking up every morning worth it. The only downside was that there are only two elevators for the condos, so there could be a wait during busy times. Was there some sand on the carpet? Yes-but you're staying at the beach, so that's to be expected. The hotel is definitely showing its age, but it was clean enough for us, and every employee we interacted with was friendly, kind, and accommodating. We also appreciated that towels were available at both the indoor and outdoor pools, and having the indoor ice skating rink was a fun bonus, especially for families. If you're looking for a luxury, newly renovated resort, this probably isn't it. Also it's a drive to the boardwalk. But if you want an affordable beachfront stay in a fantastic location with great views and friendly staff, the Carousel is absolutely worth considering. We'd stay again.
