Very disappointed. Went there for Cosmic bowling and it was a disaster. 1 the shoes were disgusting. 2 NO MUSIC. 3 bowling balls are so tore up I cut my finger. 4 some staff were totally put out if needed help. 5 manager rather sit at the bar and drink then help out but she was the nicest out of the group. 6 80% of the video games were out of order. 7 seemed like half of the lighting wasn't working correctly. Man! This couldn't have been a bigger disappointment than it was on Saturday. We show up to bowl with my family and there's no employees that were welcoming, pleasant or even made eye contact with. The workers we saw from a distance saw our group walk in and gave us a look of disgust almost. First and foremost, we went around 8pm and they had this cosmic bowling... or lack there of. There was barely anyone there, barely any black lights... Back when I would go, the place would be jam packed with adults and kids, good music playing, good energy, lights off, everything blacklit and amazing food. Now they have these shitty balls, bowl with sneakers... what is that crap? The lanes are old and barely functioning. The food doesn't look good, the employees don't know how to smile, the young guy at the desk is horrible. He doesn't give a single ounce of care for anything. Let's not forget the HORRIBLE choice of music you allow to play in there. It's not necessarily the genre of music but how you allow uncensored music with every foul word you can think of. All the while, looking around and seeing young kids exposed to it all. Honestly, it was a sad sore to see what a great bowling alley at one point has turned into and it doesn't seem like it'll get better either. This is absolutely without a doubt the worst establishment I've ever been to. Went out for a good time and ended up at the nastiest most run don't stinky bowling alley I've ever seen. We didn't even finish one game and the pins flew everywhere as well as skipped our turns multiple times. Food was dry stale and awful. The ball got stuck over 5 times. We paid for UNLIMITED game and yet when we requested a refund for our unfinished broken first game, they offered a free game? You mean the free game on the unlimited games we paid for? Got it. Do NOT waste your time or money at this place. TRUST ME. If you can manage to hold your breath the entire time because of the amount fo black mold floating around you might just be able to see how broken those lanes are. One more thing, the bartender was very rude. No pleasure bowling, no Pleasure drinking. This place needs to be shut down immediately. Improvement? None. I had an enjoyable night bowling with family and friends but the bowling experience is not the issue with my review. I go to the bar and am greeted by Kevins nasty attitude (the bartender), I ask for a bracelet to drink and he rudely asks for my ID. I just got my new license turning 21 with a paper ID. He says it is unacceptable and needs another form of identification to validate it. I hand him my old vertical ID to further prove my age and he then threatens me if it turns out to be fake he has a $10,000 lawsuit for me and a lawyer. Not only that, he was rude to everyone in my group for nothing. We talked to others in the bowling alley and they all had nothing but negative words about him. I understand there are stressful nights but it is unacceptable to threaten and be rude to customers that have done nothing to deserve it. If it were up to me I would have Kevin fired due to the lack of self control and it gives a terrible look on the business to allow a bartender to treat customers this way. By the way who the hell would even get a paper fake ID and as well get an invalid vertical ID with a hole punch in it. I mean come on common sense. read more

Got a stuffed pizza. The bottom was delaminated. Cheese and sauce tasted good. Toppings were undercooked but thats to be expected when a pizza has to cook for an hour. A stuffed pizza is more than the product of its sums. I don't think the current team has the alchemy to pull it off. Alternate pizzas to consider would be rosaits, peoria pizza works, chicago pizza ( but owner is kinda weird bout the stuffed pizza, has conditions etc.) or just get a calazone from hoops on main. Booked grandsons party here. Horrible idea! We arrived when they opened. Floors clearly not vacuumed the night before. They crammed three birthday parties close together. The pizza was over-salted cardboard and when we said thank you when they brought it to our table, they just walked away. Zero acknowledgement. Said thank you again. Nothing. Followed servers and said, louder, thank you. They finally said you're welcome. Staff lacks manners and we felt unwelcome. Never again. read more

Great food!!! Food is not what I would of expected from a bowling alley, more like I was actually a fine restuarant. Extremely friendly and courteous staff. The stuffed pizza's are out of this world good!!! I will definatly be back to try the rest of the menu. read more

I can't believe I'm going to say this....but I think I've just found our FAVORITE pizza in the Peoria area......inside of a bowling alley. Our family is doing a "Pizza Challenge" each Saturday night. We started with a list of about 20-- the criterion is that these places can't be a chain. (Yes, that means you Firehouse and Monical's.) We caught wind that there is really good pizza being kicked out of this bowling alley in Pekin, so I hesitantly put it on our list. Last Saturday night in a flurry of busy schedules, we decided that if we were to make Family Pizza Night happen, it would need to be carry-out. Enter the perfect circumstance to try out JK's pizza from Sunset Lanes. I found their menu online-- the usual fare, and assembled our order. I called the bowling alley and asked to place a carry-out order. The kid on the phone quizzed the person next to him how he does a carry-out order, and then I was quickly transferred to "the snack bar." My hopes were immediately dashed at the labeling of this purported amazing pizzeria as a mere "snack bar", but I stuck to the plan. An upbeat guy answered and asked what I'd like. Small cheese pizza for the daughter, a family size sausage & pepperoni for our growing teenage boys, and a medium pizza for my wife and I. $43, and he needed about 30 minutes to have it ready. I arrived at the bowling alley at the 25 minute mark, and tentatively approached the side door. A large sign greeted me that "vaping is no longer allowed" -- ugh. Once inside, I found an empty, albeit very clean, bowling center. I quickly located the snack bar, and was greeted by the same man that took my order. Our pizza was ready and boxed up-- he pulled it from the back and I was out of there within a couple of minutes. After the short 10 minute drive home, we found the pizza still hot and oh-so-delicious. Thin crust and crispy-- cracker-like but not overly dry or burnt like others we've encountered. Perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio and flavorful toppings. Zero grease. For our family, this is where it's at. I didn't explore much of the bowling alley, so if you aren't bowling I'm not sure if you can "dine in". Trust me though, carry-out won't disappoint. Be brave and give this Pekin bowling alley pizza a try-- they are doing some amazing things here! read more

Great family friendly place to bowl. Have many attractions such as laser tag and a ticket redemption arcade area. Something for everyone in the family. Great food from their top notch grille and it won't hurt the pocketbook too much. Great friendly staff and an excellent pro shop that is there to answer any questions. read more

Came here for a kids 7 year old birthday party. Do yourselves a favor, don't ever book one here. Staff were not only rude, unhelpful, and distant, but downright borderline hostile. This is my 3rd time here in 19 years, and after different owners and management, it's still dismal. I will just review the pizza not the staff. They were very friendly but never in the same room with you. We knew they had to be open cause the doors were unlocked and a beer was on the bar. A customer came back after her cigarette and said i will get the bartender/waitress. The employee was very friendly but i do suggest leaving her private life on the phone alone atleast away from the customers! I love the menu here but if you are in the mood for delicious pizza done right by someone that cares stop by this bowling alley and go into the bar area. The thin crust supreme is amazing. Not too much sauce, just the right amount of cheese, plenty of toppings, and not greasy! When there are 3 meats on a pizza usually it is greasy but not here. After it cooled off sure there was a small amount on your tongue but it never dripped or ran anywhere off the pizza. I was super impressed and will be going back for the stuffed pizza that looks like a pie. Move over Chicago....you have your hands full here! Lol read more

The food is great (easily one of my 2 favorite restaurants in Pekin) and the staff goes above & beyond. Everyone in our group looks forward to our monthly bowling/laser tag meetup at Sunset Lanes. Many of the kids in our group have special needs, and the staff is always kind, patient, and helpful. I very highly recommend it! read more
