Drove here and arrived just after 9 AM. Per their posted hours, they should have been open at 9 AM on Saturday. We parked outside and waited for nearly 30 minutes and nobody showed up! There were multiple other customers who parked and we all ended up leaving and had to go elsewhere. Terrible service! ZERO STARS!

My roommates and I would collect all the soda cans in college and save them in a giant trash can until it was full, then take them to BRC and split the earnings which we would always use to get dinner. The place looks and operates the same - separate your recyclables in the net bins they have (plastic bottles must have caps removed), they weigh each type, and now you can show them a screenshot of their coupon for higher redemption value on your phone. Then you show your ID and get paid in cash. If you go on the weekend, keep in mind they get very busy so it's best to come on a weekday or first thing when they open on the weekends. Overall, a good place to take your recyclables and make back the CRV you paid. I saw they also accept large electronics - someone brought in a giant big screen TV they accepted- unsure of how much they give you for that.

This place is terrible! Tons of homeless and sketchy characters lurking around the area using…read moredrugs in plain sight. The ground is all dirty and sticky. The guys operating this recycle shack are extremely rude. The one guy who took our recycling and weighed it was on the phone the entire time on a personal call. He was not paying attention to anything going on and then he started grabbing another customer's recycling and adding it to my order. We (the other customer and I) had to tell him about the mix up and he seemed irritated, yet it was his mistake. He just handed over some cash. No receipt, no documentation at all of what was turned in. Who knows if the amount of cash was correct. Meanwhile another guy working here was walking back and forth through the entire area moving bags of bottles and cans around while smoking a cigarette! Absolutely gross.

I go and separate my own bottles and they do the rest. I have never encountered anyone rude or who was unwilling to help. The most recent time I was there, there were two employees and they came up to me while I was separating cans to let me know they would be taking a short 10 min break which was fine with me since I still had sorting to do. I used to use the recycling center you find at some grocery stores and I feel like I get more money here than I would at those other places.
