We had purchased many sandwiches here over the years. Awesome. But it is under new ownership. Been twice and will not go again. First time the person could not understand what I wanted and finally just said the cook is not here. I left. Second time with stopped and got 2 sandwiches. It took some time to explain what we wanted. The prices were high as well. My wife was disappointed and my sandwich which came with bacon, had bacon chips on the sandwich and were FROZEN. It was a hot sandwich. Never again. I suggest one should avoid at all costs. I would give a ZERO. read more

When you walk into the Sunset, strung out from the road.... Gas and snacks. Snacks of all sizes and varieties. A bigger grocery selection than you might expect. Great pizza and sandwiches. Come around noon and hear the local plumbers and carpenters kibbitz about work. Even if it looks crowded, the service is quick. read more

Stopped in to purchase gas at a cheaper price. Picked up a breakfast sandwich it wasn't priced, (my error) and ended up paying $6 for an English muffin split in half toasted and a smear of scrambled eggs and cheese! You have got to be kidding me! Definitely offset the cheaper gas! Caveat emptor for sure! It's always sad to see a local established business be sold to people from away, really far away. read more

This place is your typical convenient store. Snacks, drinks, liquor, beer. They do have a lot of variety though! Sidenote - I noticed the young girl behind the counter wasn't carding. Some might see that as a bonus... The pumps are sloowwwww and old. After we spent 20 minutes filling up the boat we were told another pump was faster. Sunset Variety - Gas Stations Near Me - Raymond, Maine

This is the only place near me that makes a real sub, with real brand cold cuts and home made fixings. Sunset is busy in the morning and around lunch time but the line moves fast. They sell almost anything you need for a quick fix at home or for basic repairs. The pizza is the best! The staff is super friendly and always smiling and accommodating. Like the other reviews say, don't think Sunset is just a gas station. The food is great. read more

Absolutely rude staff, website and all signs outside said close at 9pm showed up with my family after a baseball game at 7:45 pm to order a couple Italian sandwiches. The lady making the sandwiches yelled to the woman that took our order at the register that they close in 10minutes and that she would never of taken our order and that she would have no problem saying no even if we were there in the store. I am a local and I will never give this place my business ever again and will tell everyone I know not to either. Absolutely terrible customer service. read more

Called today (Tues) about 4:15. I was put on hold . No one ever came back. So I drove to the store to order my subs. Yes, they were very busy but there were 4 people working. I waited in line to order my subs. I explained that I was left on hold for well over 14 minutes. Not one I'm sorry nothing. One person working had her mother come in with a drink for her. I know everyone is short handed but there were 4 people working. Disappointed that apparently no one working on Tuesday afternoon cares about customers. Come here all the time wow! read more

Yes, the pumps may be slow, but the people are great and their food is surprisingly good. I am very picky about my food but I can honestly say that they have the best steak and cheese subs that I have ever had...literally. Their "Sunset" (a loaded steak bomb sub) is better than anyone I've had in Philly or anywhere else. They also sell fresh donuts from the new, specialty donut shop, just up the road. If you're sketched out by eating food from a gas station, you're really missing out! read more

Don't be turned away thinking this is gas station food. We had steak and cheese, chicken parm sub, cheeseburger sub, and pizza. Everything was delicious and fresh. We will definitely be going back to try more items. read more

The last time I was there the gas pumps where working normal again. These guys care about their customers and the food they sell. Everything is high quality since the used to own a restaurant. I always stop there for a breakfast sandwich, slice of pizza or an awesome sub! read more

We've ate here a few times, nothing special. The last time we got food there the chicken fingers were way dry and overcooked so I brought them back because they cost me an hours wage from my minimum wage job, and an employee named Seth took a bite of my returned chicken tenders and said that he didn't see what I was talking about and that he would "eat these all day." So don't expect any kind of customer service and you'll be good. read more
