Amazing experience!! I have the complicated task of bringing my shelter pup back home to Hawaii with me. The staff all around were so helpful and amazing to my pup Nutella and myself. Special thank you to jackie who helped me on the phone to get my appointment set up and made sure I had all my paperwork in order for her later travels. She was great. Nutella is a handful and they were all very understanding and helpful to my girl.

Dr. Griffin is the best!! She always will take a look at aria whenever im worried about something(it's usually nothing lol). She goes over options with you for the best life for your pet. I would trust dr. griffin with my pets any day and over every doctor out there. Aria got her dental done in November and it was such a good process. Since it's a fear free clinic it makes me feel a lot more comfortable because aria is a very nervous girl. 10/10 and I would give a million stars if I could :)

We are constantly traveling and we use sunshine hospital as our home base vet. They have an amazing staff that takes care of all three of our golden retrievers. They have assisted me with the Hawaiian entry requirement process for dogs. Highly recommend

Unfortunately, I had to take my dog to Sunshine Animal Hospital because my regular vet didn't have any availability and my dog needed to be seen fast- he had a tooth abscess. The initial appt was fine, I was surprised that Dr. Griffin didn't want to put him on antibiotics before the procedure but I trusted her and her professional opinions. Looking back after getting a second opinion, that should have been the first red flag. Dr. Griffin specifically said that if she can save the tooth- she will. As I'm dropping my dog off the morning of the procedure I asked the vet tech to please keep me posted if anything else needs to be done while he is under anesthesia, I rather have other teeth that potentially need to be extracted addressed right there and then VS bringing him back another time and putting him under again. The vet tech replied that the vet can't leave the pet under in order to call me, and that's that. I was shocked because from past experiences the surgery tech monitors the pet while the vet updates the owners. So I left the clinic not knowing if someone will call or not, not knowing if I'll come back to a dog that had multiple extractions or not, not knowing if the vet will be able to save the tooth or not. I got a call later that morning from Dr. Griffin telling me that their X-Ray machine is not working properly and that they can't get the views they wanted. She said that they are trying to resolve it and that they are on the phone with the X-Ray company while my dog is under. When I came to pick up my dog the vet tech was giving me the meds and discharge instructions in the lobby, and sent me my way. I asked if they got the X-Rays or not because I didn't get any update and she confidently said that they did get it and everything looked great. When I asked to see the X-Rays or get a copy of them she started mumbling saying they don't have them and they got taken under a different dog's profile and then they got deleted. At that point, I wanted to speak with Dr. Griffin and asked if she could call me back. The vet called me back and said that they only got two views of the canine tooth (the one that was extracted) but didn't get the full tooth only parts of it and nothing else. Instead of apologizing and admitting that a mistake occurred or just apologizing for the discomfort, they kept trying to cover it up with what seemed to be inconsistent lies. I took my dog for a second opinion today and all my concerns were confirmed, the extraction was done very poorly, to say the least, it's not healing well. Other teeth need to be extracted!!!!!!!! And now I got a referral for a pet dentist (specialist) because we need to fix what Dr. Griffin did or tried to do. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Mistakes happen, we are all human, but the way they chose to handle this situation is beyond me and not once said sorry. I'll be sure to warn friends, family, and anyone that loves their fur babies about this place.

Dr Griffin is amazing! She has been caring for my pets for over 10 years. She recently did surgery on my Frenchie and went above and beyond as always. She was very prompt with giving me updates! And look at this beautiful nose job she did! Ponzi can breath so much better now

We forgot a couple of things (like a blanket and bedding), and the team provided it without asking. Also, without prompting, Jan provided an update of how the babies were doing - that helped and the gesture was much appreciated. Jan was also quick to respond and flexible to changes in our travel plans. Highly recommend!

From the moment I contacted Pocono Pet Nanny (Jan) and until I met her,  I knew I had made the…read moreright decision with boarding our 4 dogs at the Bed and Biscuit. This was our first time ever leaving our 4 dogs so to say I was nervous was an understatement. The Pocono Pet Nanny's Bed and Biscuit is probably one of the nicest and cleanest places I have ever seen. There are several themed rooms along with beds, TVs and music playing. There is a fenced in area that the dogs can go out to run and do their "business" which worked out well for my dogs since they are used to a fenced backyard. The check in process was great. Jan is very organized and takes lots of notes on each dog. She allowed me to bring in our dogs' bedding, crates and bowls which was fantastic because our dogs were so used to their own things. I will admit I was crying when I left the dogs  but knew I made the BEST decision leaving them with her. Throughout my trip I received texts and pictures updating me on each of my dogs. Never once did I question if my dogs were okay: I knew they were in the best of hands!  Thanks to Jan and her staff, my family and I were able to enjoy our first trip ever. I had such peace of mind! Prior to booking our dogs' stay, Jan was great at communicating with us and never hesitated to answer my (many, many) questions. I was a bit nervous because our one dog is very food aggressive. Jan had no problem taking him in and even fed him in a separate area. She and her staff are "pet people" and truly have love and compassion for animals. Our family never traveled because we did not want to leave our dogs, but I have a feeling our visit with the Pocono Pet Nanny might change things for us. We highly recommend Jan (Pocono Pet Nanny) and will use her again in the future. Thank you Jan and your amazing staff for a job well done!! We can't thank you enough!! Thank you!
