We also tried their chocolate chip cookie and another amazing one- some sort of chocolate chip, berry, white-chocolate, almond thing. It was amazing!! ok solid spot, genuinely appreciate what they're doing here! the biggest win for sunshine drip is their options for people with dietary restrictions. like truly, the range of accommodations here is so appreciated and not something you always find, especially on an island. we went twice during our trip so clearly it was doing something right! the food was consistently good both times! Randomly looked up a place that had avocado toast because I was craving it one day and this place popped up. The energy and customer service upon entry was very welcoming. It was a Sunday so I guess it was "busy" but service was quick and friendly. It seems like a very wholesome place to be because as we were waiting for our food, people would come in and the hostesses would greet them by name. I ordered what you see pictured and it was delicious! So much so that I doubled back literally the next day and was greeted with a smile and a "remind me of your name again?" We had a breakfast bagel (egg with swiss, tomato, and spinach on a rosemary-chive bagel), avocado toast, a blueberry muffin, Earl Grey, and a cappuccino. All were good. You order at the counter inside, then they either bring it to the window or the counter (or if they aren't too busy, to your table). The staff is friendly and helpful. A nice little coffee shop in Coupeville. I stopped in here Saturday morning to get a cup of coffee before I went to my intersection to put up barriers for the "Greening of Coupeville Parade". I was impressed with the inside of Sunshine Drip. They had a few tables to sit at, shelves, reminiscent of early grocery stores, filled with treats and miscellany. They also had several outside tables to sit at to enjoy people watching and the weather. They had displays of baked goods next to the ordering counter. I even chose to buy a serving of cinnamon coffee cake. Very tasty. I will try to visit Sunshine Drip again when I have time to sit and relax in their cozy store. read more

My friend and I shared the pesto panini and the coupeville club and both were simply mouth watering. The pesto is delightful and has so much flavor. They have a nice patio that's about as big as their indoor dining room (perfect for a sunny day). I decided to get the zesty lemon avocado toast with an over easy egg (to add some more protein to it). They brought a fork with it, except the bread was toasted so much that I also needed a knife. Additionally, I'm not sure where the zesty lemon element was, but it certainly wasn't in this dish. Hubs' egg sandwich was great though, so maybe the sandwiches are the way to go? The staff also had a water bowl on the patio for dogs, which ours greatly appreciated. Inside, they sell some cool and unique products (e.g., hot sauces, chocolate hazelnut spreads). Super cute little cafe off Main Street in Coupeville. They have a cozy, casual atmosphere where you order at the counter and can go for dine in or takeout. The breakfast portions are very substantial! I really enjoyed my bagel sandwich and my husband liked their biscuits and gravy. We also got lattes - in which the milk was a little skimmed over and possibly burnt. It didn't really make a difference for my vanilla latte but my husband could taste the difference on his unflavored latte. My order was the breakfast bagel sandwich, with a rosemary sea salt bagel, sausage patty, cheddar, tomato, and baby spinach lettuce. It was wonderful! Ordered online and showed up 25 minutes later and told someone behind the counter that I was there for the order. They acknowledged me and said I was early so needed to wait. I was about 20 minutes early for the time that the online order stated so I didn't think much of it. But sitting here I saw many other people order and get their food and drinks while I still waited. So then I went up at the time my order was supposed to be ready and was informed they were still working on it. Overall I've now been sitting here 30 minutes and just now finally got my food. If I had ordered when I first showed up I would have received the food in half the time. The order overall took nearly an hour to make. For a salad and a sandwich. If you have a customer show up who's already ordered online, regardless of when you told them the food would be ready, you should honestly put them in the "active" queue and not wait to make it. Or just don't take online orders. Will reconsider coming back for sure. read more
