How I have only found about this place recently shocks me!!! Ever since I've discovered this incredible, delicious, cafe/bakery I have truly become a better person. Not only do I look forward to the gardens right next door but I crave the menu at flower house cafe. I am quite obsessed with the London fogs and the variety of flavored tea bag options they have. I have yet to try a different drink but my man enjoyed their ice caramel latte. But the bakery items is truly where they shine. All of the pastries I have tried have been phenomenal. My top favorite are the peanut brown butter cookie, the almond croissant, the ham and cheese croissant, and the raspberry cheese croissant. Every time I've gone the staff has been very helpful, welcoming, and joyful. The environment is such a vibe and the surrounding plants and water features are the icing on the cake. This place has one of the best London fog lattes I've had. The vibe here is honestly one of the best coffee shop vibes I've found in Washington, and I've been to a lot of coffee shops. If you love flowers, plants, and that calm garden feel, this place is definitely worth a stop. It feels peaceful and relaxing in a way that makes you want to stay awhile. The mocha and cookie were just okay for me. Our cookie tasted a little dry and stale, and the mocha leaned too milky. But honestly, the London fog and the whole atmosphere made up for it. Charming, bustling farmhouse style cafe in a home garden center. So many flowers and greenery. The line for coffee was long, but we waited. We ordered a: * Toasted coconut latte - not robust, disappointing (2/5) * Americano (3/5) * Iced vanilla latte with oat milk (4/5) The wait to get our espresso based drinks was long too. And then our iced drink came out hot. When I told the barista, she asked "are you sure you asked for iced?" And I said yes. She didn't seem like she believed me, but she remade the drink and let us keep the hot one (which we didn't wan't). We found this cafe on our way back to Mukilteo. They have a sweet large outdoor patio with lots of seating. It was a perfect spot for us because we had our small puppy with us. It was also a beautiful warm day. Everything we ordered was excellent from the latte, pastries and sandwiches with salad. The service was quick. The servers were very friendly. Stumbled on this cafe while driving through whidbey island. And what a cute surprise! The cafe is connected to a nursery, so it's super plant themed. There's a dedicated parking lot as well. We ordered at the counter, got a number, and sat in their covered outdoor area. It was so chill and stunning, I loved the vibes. Food came out pretty quickly as well. My friend and I split the chicken salad sandwich and the tuna salad sandwich. Both sandwiches were really good. I loved the pickled onions and capers in the tuna sandwich. The chicken sandwich had an interesting stringy texture to the chicken salad, but the flavor overall was still good. The chips I got as a side had a delightful thick crunch as well. One of my favorite cafes of all time and definitely the top place I recommend! I grew up on the island and only recently discovered this in the last few years. Perfect spot on a sunny day. Super yummy cafe and the bay view garden is the perfect spot to shop around after! They have so many cute home decor and garden items in there! The food is always so fresh and yummy. They stick with staple plates and rotate some seasonal items. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I order! I love getting a drink and a sandwich and sitting under the covered patio. It's a clear roof so I recommend bringing glass or a hat if you have sensitive eyes. It's decorated beautifully and filled with flowers. Perfect place for a relaxing lunch or to meet up with a few people! Can get pretty busy esp during spring and summer weekends but the lines go quickly and there is a parking lot and street parking available! While visiting Whidbey island, loved visiting the Flower House Cafe. The energy is very calming, it being a garden center with the most beautiful plants and flowers ** this review is only for the coffee shop. I ordered an almond milk matcha with coconut milk (small one), and I was SO sad I ordered the small one when we got in the car!!! The drink was delicious and refreshing, and their pastry selection impressive The garden store has a huge selection of practical gardening tools as well as fun kitchen/ home accessories/ culinary items. Food was fine. Very overpriced for the fact that with breakfast they serve a side salad and grilled bread. Not even any toppings on the salad -- just store bought spring mix. Why not fruit? I visited around 2PM for lunch on a lovely sunny day! I brought my dog along, and I was happy to see that they're dog-friendly with outdoor seating. The whole place was adorable, with lots of flowers and greenery. The staff were also pleasant. For lunch, I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with bacon and avocado, which came with a side salad. I also had a vanilla latte, and the food and drink were amazing! The grilled cheese was perfectly done, and the latte was super rich and flavorful. Everything came out pretty fast too. The café is located next to a garden walking area, which was wonderful for a stroll with my dog afterward. If I'm back on Whidbey Island, I'll definitely return. What an adorable place! Was in town for the weekend and looking for caffeine and breakfast or lunch after a long drive and ferry ride. Flower House has a little line outside if they get backed up at the register. They are located within a garden store as well as another store on site with books, cards, holiday items, toys and more. So even if you have to wait a bit you have a lot to look at/do. When it's your turn you order from pastries, breakfast, or lunch (time dependant) with lots of beverage options. They the bring your food out to the table and you self bus your table. It's super cute inside and makes for some nice ambiance while enjoying a delicious meal. I got the avocado toast with pesto (so very good!) and a hot chai tea latte with oat milk (tasty and on the more spiced side) while my husband got a double espresso (he enjoyed it very much). I got an Apple Cider cake slice to go. Wish it had a stronger Apple Cider taste but non-the-less it was very good with a sweet crunchy top. I wish there was a place like this in Seattle/ Bellevue! Anyway, Flower House Cafe serves both breakfast and lunch, pastries and drinks. You line up to order at the counter, then find a seat and your food gets brought out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. This most recent time I got the pumpkin pie chai (though I wanted to try all their seasonal drinks), and I think it was the best I've ever had. I thought about ordering another one to go because it was sooo good! haha and now I kinda regret not doing that! Food wise, portion size is decent and ingredients always seem really fresh. Cute cafe next to the Bayview Garden. It has both a beautiful indoor and outdoor area with all the plants. We bought a dog, so we sat outside. It was pretty rainy and windy when we went. The person behind the counter said she would turn on the heater outside for us, which she did and there was an enclosed outdoor seating area, so it blocked the windy nicely. The food was a bit pricey. The have standard coffee drinks with milk alternatives and flavors so you can tailor it to how you life. They had seasonal drinks, and I got a Cardamom and Rose latte, and the flavors came through with the spice and floral notes. read more

The interior is bit crowded ; but the exterior is good. They have heaters too (one does not work). The service was fast in serving the tea. We waited for 30 min for the food and then reminded them.
