Very disturbed by this place. Was told when we could only pet one puppy. They only open the top of the cage, you can't Take them out to play with them. There is only one puppy per cage, and the cages have nothing in them whatsoever not food water a blanket or pillow to lie on or a toy or another puppy to play with. Those cages have to be very uncomfortable and the pups have nothing to do, they can't even play with the customers that come in to see them. I got my female purebred yorkie puppy from sunshine supplies and she had a slight cough when I was looking at getting her, so I asked about it and they said it maybe kennel cough, fine OK whatever. Bought the dog (she was on clearance for some reason) vet signed off on the paperwork stating that she was healthy but she seemed hesitant to sign the paperwork. Some days fly by and her cough gets worse and worse so I contact them and a couple of vets. The vets say she's has an enlarged heart and pneumonia. I get her meds for the pneumonia and now I find out she might have a collapsed trachea along with all the other problems my poor puppy has been suffering from. I've sent them over the bills for the meds multiple times and they state they've sent the check "four times" since I've told them. I'm going to visit them in person and explain to them that this is not a healthy dog as advertised and that your vet is full of crap and she knew she was sick but signed the paperwork anyways. So I told them all this and threatened to sue them and all they said was "OK". So it must happen a lot there. Please DO NOT go there for a pet. You will end up with a very sick and expensive dog. They told me I would pay $80 once a month and asked to see my phone to make the transaction happen smoothly to which they electronically signed my name to loans I did not agree with tripling the monthly payment that was verbally agreed upon thankfully I checked my email or I would've never know until the payments started coming out of my bank account I called the police and made a fraud report and they took back the dog and cancelled the loans. This establishment is absolutely disgusting. There are roaches on the walls, and the poor puppies are sleeping on top of the cages and stepping in feces all day. They feed them by pouring the food into the beds. They roped us into purchasing a puppy for $1600 but the total price ended up being $2500 (which was due to fees we were unaware of at the time of purchasing) and we were told that the monthly payment would be $88 by Carson and Tyler. And our payments ended up being $200+. Had they explained all the fees and been truthful about the monthly payment. I wouldn't have gotten the dog. It's a shame that when you walk into this establishment there are Biblical scriptures everywhere. (Which would make anyone including those not religious like myself trust the company) To use Religion as a ploy to boast your company's sales, but not stand behind genuine morals goes to show that 1. I visited Sunshine Puppies today and was disappointed with my visit. The puppies seemed lethargic and completely uncomfortable, some had bedding some didn't. They were laying and playing around in their own mess. Had no toys to keep them entertained or anything, it was somewhat hot in there and it smelt like dog poo maybe a hint of freshener. You can't interact with them so you basically have to just look and go as if in a museum. They told me I could hold them if I was ''interested''. The cages seem too small for the big puppy breeds I felt so bad for them, this place sells bedding/toys but can't give the pups some? This place seems like they are all in it for the money. They also tried to charge me 8k for a Yorkie.. that's insane! read more

Great experience all in all! The staff was careful and took precautions due to COVID. Also, the staff was very accommodating. I couldn't pick up my pup the same day so they kept it for me after a put it in a deposit. They followed up every couple of days to make sure I am still set to pick up the pup. Pup was groomed and cleaned before handover. Manager was not there during the day I picked up my pup staff members were well informed. Shots were up to date and records were all provided. read more

We got our corgi baby a few months ago. We love how on top of cleaning the staff is. The puppies are very well cared for and loved here. Dogs that are allowed to be picked up and put down constantly are very susceptible to getting sick and Dan doesn't allow that at his store. If you're serious about buying a dog he'll obviously allow you to pick it up and see if there's bonding and has a special section to see how the dog walks around and plays. This pisses off some people who obviously don't have the health and well-being of the pets at heart. You come here to BUY your new family member not just for a cuddle session with multiple dogs that is detrimental to the poor babies health. There are pretty of other places in the area that allow this sad practice. Dan and his staff care deeply about each and every pup there and can give you extensive knowledge on each breed. We were very happy with our experience and we love our beautiful healthy corgi. We had weird circumstances that didn't allow us to pick up our puppy right away and Dan made sure no one was allowed to hold our puppy and potentially get her sick even though many people begged. We visited her every day for the four days until we were able to pick her up and Dan and his staff were very sweet every time. Financing was also very simple and we love the vet that he has on staff. Sweetest vet we've ever met and his health guarantee beats any that I've ever seen. We'll be back again when we're ready for our next pup. read more

I bought a Toi Leo puppy back in February 2019. He is everything Dan explained him to be. A mixture of 4 small breeds to eliminate problems while retaining their better qualities. The prices were high, but reasonable for the quality. I have not paid this much for all the dogs that I have owned together compared to this one. I am happy with my purchase and the experience at the store. They answered all of my questions and were very patient with my decision process and actually stayed late in order to complete the process properly and to make sure I had the knowledge and supplies needed to take our new puppy home to my daughter. It has been now 4 months and I'm looking for a new larger cage for Ollie, and after looking in local pet stores, the quality of their cages does not compare to the one I bought from Sunshine Puppies, so I'm heading pack there again to pick up one, even though they are an hour drive from my house. read more

Would like to give this place negative 5 stars, but that is not possible. It is totally disgusting. Puppies are all in wire crates. We were immediately greeted by one of the 4 rude teenage (I guess) boys that were "working". He asked if we had ever been in there, and proceeded to tell us all the things we weren't allowed to do, which included, "do not let any of the puppies lick you". Some of the smaller puppies have beds, but for the most part they are all standing on wire bottom cages, which is extremely painful for their feet. I guess that is to make it easier to clean, if they actually cleaned the cages. The puppies don't even act like puppies, they aren't playing and don't even look happy. Most of them didn't even get up or open their eyes. They have the breeders' names on the cages, so of course I googled one. The first thing that came up was an article about the puppy mill in Indiana that the guy runs. DO NOT ever go into this place, it will ruin your day. read more

actually the worst. the dogs of course are adorable as you would expect dogs to be but the owner or boss whatever he is, is an absolute jerk. he was rude to me when i went in to look for dogs and said i couldn't go from "dog to dog" and said "just pick one and i'm fine sweetheart" in the grossest most degrading voice after i touched ONE!!! not only was he rude to me but he was raising his voice and also belittling his employees while i was there. while one of them was tending to some people that came in he told scolded her in front of them about not cleaning a cage that HE saw was dirty "a long time ago." 10/10 cuteness. shittiest boss i'd ever seen. lack of common respect with his employees.
