They sell day old sushi to cut corners and save money. Gross! To be fair, I have had it fresh, and it was delicious, but it's a gamble.

. This modern, clean, semi-local regional chain grocery was very, very welcome here. We were excited. BUT, Although most of the brands we like are here, the specific items we seek are never available. Reminds me of the Rouse Market in New Orleans' "CBD", same thing. As a result, I shop on four sides of this store, but rarely enter it. What wasted potential & investment. You go, and check it out, your tastes may differ from ours. Pros: Prices better than Walmart for many products, plenty of local Louisiana brands,and a great produce and meat department. The shelves are always stocked, and there are always specials going on. Plenty of alcohol options to select from. Plenty of marinaded, seasoned, and cajun stuffed meats. Cons: Deli and Seafood depts. are mediocre at best, the seafood never looks fresh. The bakery is only slightly better than the deli and seafood dept. Final Take: I come here for most groceries because you can't beat the price and everything is always in stock. I go elsewhere for seafood, bakery, deli and often meat products that require freshness. read more

Before the last Winn-Dixie was closed in Lafayette that was my place to do most of my grocery shopping. But since that time I've been shopping at Albertson's, Rouses, and Adriens. Never really gave much thought to Super One Foods. But after today's shopping experience I think I will shop here more often. The prices are very good and the customer service here was exception. read more

This grocery store is a far cry from Walmart. When I leave Walmart, I either need to drink 4 bottles of wine or I have to lock myself in a room for 3 hours to unwind....who's with me? Not Super1. From the moment you walk in, it's different. You have an employee greet you with a smile! You don't get frisked when you leave. There are plenty of baskets everytime I go that are clean. The parking is easy. The cashiers are fast and friendly. The specials weekly are a steal. The produce is beautiful. The layout of the store is organized and smart. The bakery and fish and meat departments are well stocked. And the people are clean and friendly who shop there with you. It's a neighborhood grocery store feel. There is no big chain essence here. Would you like to receive fast, friendly service at a pharmacy? The new Super 1 Pharmacy inside Super 1 Foods on Ambassador is the place for you! I have been there several times and never had to wait. I've gotten a flu shot and a Shingrix shot and the booster that goes with it. These shots are very rare because Shingrix is so effective in preventing shingles. The pharmacists, techs and cashiers are awesome! Jill G. read more

This is a review of the curbside pickup at Super1 on Ambassador Caffery Blvd. I've been shopping at this store for about 20 years. The curbside pickup service is great and Teja, who fulfilled my order is the best. She texted me with a question, including pictures, to be sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, and then texted me when the order was ready. She picked my produce better than I could have myself. My husband lost his wallet. I remembered we had been to Super One the day before. the wallet had $500 and cards. I called and they said they had it. Nothing was stolen. It went through 3 persons. Unbelievable honesty. Nobody knew who had turned it in, I will investigate further with the manger Mr. Poole. Thank you Super One. read more

As a visitor from Texas had the opportunity to shop here, mainly for Diet Dr. Pepper. See our local distributor in Beaumont, Tx was flooded by Harvey Coke/ Dr. Pepper products are in short supply. So i stocked up. But while i was there I brpowsed thru the meat department and ended up purchasing some of the stuffed meats, cant wait to try them. Also an ice chest and ice for the trip back to Texas. I found the store very clean and staff very friendly unlike other discount stores.
