The grocery cart situation is cool in my opinion. You basically "rent" it for a quarter and when you return it you get the quarter back. It encourages everyone to return them, and cuts down on parking lot clutter, too! You know all those reusable bags you bought years ago with the intention of using them? Grab them and put them in your car for trips to ALDI! They sell reusable bags too if you forget yours or you can pay a mere .13 for a plastic one when you check out. The store itself is small but the savings here are anything but! You'll find a lot of beautiful and fresh produce, an extensive cheese selection, milk at $1.50 less than anywhere else and lots of pantry staples here. There are many things here that are ALDI's own brand, but you'll see some name brands you recognize too. It's definitely worth a visit and I'll be adding it to my grocery rotation for sure!

I saw what appeared to be 3 employees that were stockers but they weren't stocking, they were standing around gossiping. I wondered why none of them could man any registers. I left ALDI and probably won't go back unless they have self checkouts and more checkout lines open. It's too bad because they have an interesting variety of food and the store's small (easy to get in and out, until you need to check out).

Every Saturday, I'd pull up to the drive-through, hand over my punch card (11th shake free!), and order the large chocolate peanut butter shake. The price was a little over $5 at the time. It tasted like a Reese's Cup. In less than two minutes, I'd have the shake in hand, ready to conquer the day! Don't be intimidated or discouraged by the body-builder employees or patrons. I started going to Planet Nutrition because I was an emaciated high school cross-country runner. The owner made me a complimentary blueberry cheesecake shake, and gave me a thorough nutrition consultation to help me gain some lean weight. All of the employees I encountered were friendly and efficient at making shakes. To compare, I tried a shake at Captain Nutrition down the road, but it just wasn't as awesome. Fortunately for those of you in Laffy Taffy, now there is a Planet Nutrition website, which lists the dozens of smoothie flavors and nutritional values (perfect for all you body-builders getting ready for competition)! And apparently they've opened two more stores - an additional one in Lafayette, and another in Lake Charles. Next time I'm in town, I will be reuniting with a large chocolate peanut butter shake.

It'd be better with a lever to pull, sending materials down a shoot into your bag. I got some shredded coconut for oatmeal and cinnamon/sugar coated pecans which are very addictive. I looked over the spices to see how much saffron was because I believe it's the most expensive spice. It's no surprise they don't sell saffron, because it's probably $1500/lb.
