Absolutely horrible experience. We checked into this hotel and within minutes saw roaches in the room. My daughter was bitten by bedbugs almost immediately. I refused to stay even 10 minutes and requested a refund. Thankfully they refunded me, after asking a few times and moving me 3 different rooms within less than 30 min but the rooms were completely unacceptable and unsanitary. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Needs major pest control and deep cleaning.

Pathetic little pillows for the bed.

Location was good for where we needed to be but that was far as it went. When we initially rang for information the lady who answered the phone was abrupt. We had seen rates on a couple of booking sites which were in the $80's but when i asked her the rate she abruptly said $100. When I told her about the other rates she again abruptly said "book online". Due to the location, we booked anyway and luckily, we were only there for one night. There was no one at reception, the door was locked, and the sign said use the night window. I went to the night window and a guy strolled up and said in there, pointing to the reception area. I said it's locked and again he said in there. He was very abrupt when processing our check in. We got to our room with about an hour to spare before we had to go out, so we turned on the TV. Most of the channels we wanted to watch did not work, so I went back to reception, told the guy, and he said he would be up in 10-15 minutes. He said that "with all the crazy people who stay here they probably pulled the cable out". An hour later we went out. The guy was strolling around the property. An hour after we returned (around 9:30) there was a knock on our door with the guy asking if he could look at the TV. I told him it was way too late; we were going to bed. As for the room: Two very small pillows that did not work for us. Bedspread had cigarette holes in it (I saw another review with the same comment) even though it is a non-smoking room. Curtain had slices in it, as if someone had sliced it with a knife. Bed was hard and not very comfortable. Air conditioning worked but was very loud and kept cutting in and out all night. The bath/shower was dirty. We didn't need to use it. In the morning when we decided to have a cup of complimentary coffee in the room. The coffee maker still had the coffee pod from the previous room guest in it. When I told the guy at reception, he looked at me as if I was mad then reluctantly said he would talk to the maid. The breakfast: In the small foyer/reception area. The juice machine was out of order. The coffee pot was nearly empty. We had to tell him, (when he decided to come into the office) and he again reluctantly refilled it. Breakfast consisted of a couple of packaged pastries, a few granola bars and some packets of oats. There was no milk for the oats. For the coffee there was just a container of powdered creamer and a container of sugar. The only reason this place got a 1 from us is because of the location. The comment by the guy at reception "with all the crazy people who stay here they probably pulled the cable out" is enough to turn anyone away. Not only for the apparent level of custom, but for the fact the reception guy would even say something like that. It is rather obvious he has no respect for his own establishment.

Showerhead not functional in room 228, and none of the appliances functioned, electrical issue

Where to begin! Horrible service, continuously being hung up by a male caller named 'Phillip' when trying to book or ask hotel questions, mainly noticed there was a language barrier so it easier for caller to keep hanging up. Drove to location due to closest to event that we had that day. We couldn't enter the reception area and a sign that read to be seen at night window, all the while we saw a man strolling around the area that looked as if he had nothing better to do, when we rang the call button the same man with a heavy accent casually walked by us and said he'd talk to us shortly, again no regard to customer service. Eventually when he entered to tend to us, he was short and abrupt as if he was bothered, we reluctantly booked online to get a better deal, 1st room assigned was #228, and the photos show the disgusting look of restrooms in general, this was actually a video which can't be posted here showing the showerhead didn't work, again we called to report this and that none of the appliances worked (blow dryer, microwave, fridge) and Phillip stated he was busy with people and could not arrive to check the breaker until 15-20min. We were already delayed for event, so we grasped our stuff to be changed rooms as we couldn't wait and the audacity of being questioned if we used the room (not even 10minutes In that room) because he would need to call cleaning crew if we did, which seemed it hadn't been cleaned either way, floors dingy, dusty at baseboards and obvious photo of what the shower looked like. Only room available was that with 2 beds and Phillip graciously mentioned he wouldn't charge us extra for it, mind you it was only 2 of us and extra bed was actually an inconvenience but for sake of event proceeded with room. Upon use of shower, the towel had a thick pube looking hair stuck on it. The shower curtain was so ripped and tattered surprised how it even held up and failed to hold the water in making a puddle mess when stepping out. We noticed ice machines, however to our surprise didn't function and was so old and dingy filled with dust in tray and mold where the water is filtered, definitely a health hazard. Following morning went to reception area for the 'lite' breakfast, juice machine out of order, bottle juices in fridge, coffee pot had like 1 serving left, served coffee and it was either old or nasty that it made us literally sick. Only bags of unwanted flavor of oats and some granola bars and no milk or even water to even have oats to begin with. Only reason a 1 star was the convenience to our event and basically no other choice. Book at your own risk

    Broken mirror

I stayed here because I arrived in California late at night and needed to rest. The mirror is broken and the carpet in the room is gross, stained and dirty. The sidewalk and landing outside the second floor room door smelled like urine. The cement needs to be power washed with water and disinfectant. I'm only reviewing this so I don't accidentally stay here again. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the street and has great potential if renovated. I would not recommend.

There's graffiti and black mold in are room and the sheets when you touched they felt musty like they hadn't been washed

Mold, no shower curtain, cracks in bathtub.

This has to be the most disgusting hotel/room I have ever stayed in. It was ten at night when I arrived. Staff extremely rude. I walked into the room to see a huge hole in the wall. The shower/bathtub was disgusting, mold everywhere and cracks painted over. No shower curtain. Everything was sticky. I slept with my clothes on and left at daybreak. I booked it through a reputable booking company. This hotel should NOT be in their itinerary. I would not even rate this a one but I could not post this without it.

Room 129 dirty carpet just make sure you bring flip flops or house shoes don't walk around barefoot

When making my reservation the rooms look so nice and clean on the website but then when they give you the key to your room you get a surprise and it's not a good one. The first room we got was room 129. It was very filthy it smelled like someone just took a shower and it was very humid in the room. There was hairs in the restroom on the toilet in the shower on the floor the carpet was gross. I don't think the fridge or anything was really wipe down and we went to go get a different room so they moved us to room 127 that room was also disgusting the fridge was very filthy coffee maker was gross the toilet was gross the shower was gross honestly I picked the wrong place to stay. I was very surprised because Wyndham usually has nice hotels and motels. That's why I chose this place. Maybe they're not aware of this exact location on how it's being ran and cleaned but. I do not recommend anybody staying here is very dirty maybe other locations are cleaner but please do not come to this one. I pretty much threw my money away. I guess this is what happens when you try to save money. I'm just glad the person I was traveling with was able to keep me company and put a smile on my face.

    Corner of bathtub

If there was a way to give it half a star I would. The good thing is that there was a double lock, the air conditioner works and we did not get bed bugs. The bad was pretty much everything else. I cannot believe Wyndham is willing to put their name on this POS motel. We were genuinely afraid to take a shower. There was ONE face towel. ONE hand towel. A neighbor complained to the front desk about the motel provided iron was not working and the front desk directed him to engineering.

She did it all with a smile. I wish I got a picture of her. The hotel has a very clean workout room. We got a room with a full kitchen. It even had a dishwasher. Where things fell short were the other guests. They would attend daily breakfast unshowered and smelled bad. The service staff over all were pretty rude my entire week. I did not care for that. There was one older lady in the dining hall who was sweet however. I left notes for my housekeeper. She did make the beds neatly, however she took apart my shower and left it like that one time. Another she threw a soaking wet towel I used to step on in the shower to prevent athletes foot in the corner of the shower. I started ringing out the water after that and hanging it up. I still left her a tip and a gift. Also my last 3 days someone occupied next door and it stunk to high hell of curry. I had to clog my sink drains with the stoppers and put a towel under my front door. So the walls are thin. The pool was merky so my boys only swam once. Also homeless would sneak in and do laundry and be in the lobby drinking beer. One was escorted out by police one day. Parking was safe. Another girl who was at the front desk during the day always greeted us with a smile too but I did not catch her name. Overall the location couldn't be matched I was one Main Street over from my apt.

Dreams really do come true, and I had the vintage wedding of my dreams! Carrie, Sam, Jillian, and everyone at Christmas House are now like family to us. All of our guests absolutely loved our wedding and the house, and said what a unique and cool venue it is. A lot of them said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and are still talking about it a year later. I wanted something completely different and personal compared to a country club, golf club, or hotel since I have been to so many weddings. Since we were planning from out of state, we also liked that so many things were included such as cake, DJ, etc. I loved that we had the whole place to ourselves for the whole wedding weekend and got to do the pizza party and overnight stay, as well as breakfast which was some of my favorite food of the weekend! I particularly recommend the quiche! We had some of our bridal party stay with us and they loved it. It was nice to spend some personal time with them before we jetted off to our honeymoon. Also military wives and brides: they have a military discount! I also loved that the Christmas House team worked well with our wedding planner Nicole at Olivar events. Our photos and videos also came out so wonderfully. Orlando the photographer and videographer (sorry forgot his name) made me feel like a queen and really helped with their calm vibes since I was anxious before the ceremony. I even asked for more footage now a year later and they obliged. They are awesome! I had a lot of stress leading up to the wedding including my original dress being ruined one month before and family drama. The whole team were literal angels in helping me navigate all of this and I'm actually really glad I wore my second dress because it was a warm June wedding and my second dress was much lighter and went better with our vintage theme! I believe everything works out for a reason in according to God's plan. I have never felt so happy and so loved as on my wedding day by my husband, family and friends, and our friends at the Christmas House. I would truly give the Christmas House 4.8 stars and only change two things about the wedding: I will say the food was delicious, and our cake that was included from Cucamonga Cakery was pretty and delicious. However, the only negative feedback we had from guests was that the plates of food were a little small. This may be a Spaggi's (their exclusive caterer for our sit down package) issue, and I would recommend it be closer to the tasting size. For myself, I would have slowed down getting ready and taken some more amazing photos around the bridal suite, the house's stained glass windows, and stairs, and I may still go back and do it as Carrie suggested! However, I am giving myself some grace as the wedding morning was very busy. Thank you, Christmas House for making me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt, and for celebrating our love with us on our very special day. It was a dream come true, and we will be back to visit soon! Love, Ty and Dorothy

While there were some hiccups along the way - the front desk team showed care and empathy, and follow through - which is why I'm rating my experience as "five stars". To clarify - my experience and imo - the property - is five stars in its class. It doesn't mean its a five star hotel class (Intercontinental/Fairmont) - but it is five stars in its hotel category (mid-range). That said - onto the review! I was pleasantly greeted by Matt and Alyssa at check-in. My request I made via the Marriott Bonvoy app for a high floor/away from elevator was honored, and I had a nice placement closer to the Embassy Suites side (I didn't want to be close to the Haven St. side due to noise concerns). My room on the 4th floor was spacious! I'm happy they left the air conditioning on since Ontario/Socal was going through a nightmare heatwave this past weekend. As you can see from my photos - my King Suite had a lot of extra space - a couch, work desk, microwave/fridge/coffeemaker station. The TV wasn't working (no signal?), but it's nice to have a high tech monitor if you need to use it. Spacious bathroom, walk-in shower, but huge vanity with a closeup mirror. Tons of closet and storage space. Wifi was free since I booked directly through Marriott - and the connection was fast and solid my entire stay. There's a little market by the front desk with chips, snacks, drinks if you need - but there's also a Costco Business Center, Costco Gas, Starbucks and a yummy poke bowl spot across the street. Stater Bros is 10 minutes down the street, and the Panda Inn (predecessor to Panda Express) is also 10 minutes away from the hotel. The first issue that came up though as I was settling down for a quick nap after my stressful drive - there was a noticeable sound of water dripping. At first, I tried to ignore it. Yea that didn't work too well, as the noise didn't go away. So I went hunting for the source of this mysterious noise. Turned out, the AC was leaking! Specifically, the condensation was leaking. I get it - it's a heatwave, its a machine, it's going to break down at some point. So I went downstairs to the front desk to voice my concern... Alyssa listened with empathy, and after I showed her a short video I took of the leak - said she would get maintenance to take a look. I returned back to my hotel room - but on my way back - literally ran into Matt (the FDA that checked me in earlier) and Raul, the hotel's maintenance guru. They told me they were also on their way to take a look at my AC leak. Raul worked his magic, while Matt kept me company. The leak seem resolved after about 30 minutes after Raul applied a fix. I was pleasantly surprised. Rather than having to wait an unknown amount of time to get my AC leak looked at - I literally ran into the very people that were notified about my issue on my way back to my room! The thing about customer service issues - if you have a problem, bring it up to staff - and then (here's the important part) - give them a chance to fix it. Too many times, people are quick to complain because the fix isn't instant. Something like an AC leak is not going to resolve itself by someone pressing a button. Give the people who can help you a chance to remedy your concern. And be calm - don't take it out on them either. It's not their fault their machine broke in the middle of a heatwave. The rest of my stay was uneventful. The leak returned Sunday night - but Iuckily I had packed ear plugs, so just plugged my ears and went back to sleep. I didn't receive any service related issues - my room was still very comfortable with the strong AC during this heatwave. Complimentary breakfast was great. Water pressure and hot water was great. They have a pool and decent gym as well. Parking is $12/night - but this makes sense for a hotel that's across the street from Ontario Airport. Unlike some of the other hotels I've stayed at that are in the middle of nowhere, a parking fee does make sense here to ensure there's sufficient spots for hotel guests - not just air travelers trying to avoid paying for parking at the airport. We had originally planned to stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott, but due to the Garden Grove chemical spill and reports at the time of a possible explosion, we contacted the hotel to see whether our reservation could be rescheduled. We were fully aware of the hotel's policy and understood that rescheduling might not normally be permitted. After speaking with a supervisor named Alondra, we were told that given the circumstances, rescheduling our stay for a later date would not be a problem. However, after a week passed without receiving any confirmation, we called back and were informed that the hotel would not honor the arrangement that had previously been approved. Despite the commitment that was made to us, the hotel ultimately refused to follow through. The issue is not the policy itself--we understood the policy from the beginning. The issue is that we were given a clear commitment by hotel management and then later told something completely different. For that reason, prospective guests should be aware that our experience raised serious concerns about the hotel's reliability and integrity when it comes to honoring commitments made to customers.
