My friend explained thoroughly in detail what needed to be move, basically it was a 3 bedroom move with storage in a two car garage. They quoted me &179 for the truck and supplies and $99 per hour for two movers. The distance between the two locations was 5 miles, I figured it would take 4hrs tops! The movers get there and I get a call from their dispatch telling me the movers stated "there was a lot of stuff" duh!! We explained to you earlier what needed to be moved. I'm assuming I was speaking to the owner, told me he recommends a third mover, which wouldn't arrive for another 45 minutes. I was pretty pissed at this point and told him I'm not wasting anymore time, the location is only 5 miles away, it should take two trips tops! Long story short it took 6 HOURS, costing me $750, when it should've been around $550. I'm a Respiratory Therapist, and after 8yrs of practice I make $40/hr, these movers were making $50/hr, make that make sense, but I agreed to the deal, that's fine. Anyway, I didn't find out until a couple of days later that the movers DIDN'T even place her belongings IN the house, they left everything on the drive-way/garage!! WTF!? Oh, and the kicker... one of the movers took a s**t in one of the bathrooms and the m*********er, didn't even bother to ASK! My friend overheard them joking about it, that how she found out!! They are lucky I wasn't there during the move.. fo sho! DO NOT USE THEM! I should've went over their reviews I would've known better. Karma is a b**** I would've given them a even worse rating, but my friend stated that they were good workers. Her standards are obviously lower than mine, but I'll let it slide. My advice ASK FOR ACTUAL PICTURES of what is being moved, so you can make a proper assessment of how many movers and estimated time of completion... you've been doing this long enough. I shouldn't have to tell you!

I ended up having a very disappointing experience with Denver express movers. The movers I had…read moreoriginally hired didn't show up, so I reached out to Denver express and they were able to have a team come out the same afternoon. When the movers showed up in a U-Haul that was clearly going to be too small, that should've been my first warning. But the move had to get done that day and so we proceeded. The two movers seemed competent and professional, but my furniture was definitely not wrapped as it was loaded into the U-Haul. When we got to the drop off location, I just had them unload all of the furniture into my living room. It was a hot day and everyone was tired so I signed off and sent them on their way. The next day as I was placing my furniture, I noticed significant damage on four pieces. I immediately reached out to the company and provided photos of the damage. I was told that they would contact their insurance company and get back to me. It took me several times reaching back out to them to get a response back, and then I was told that their insurance company had not gotten back to them. They then offered me $.60 per pound as a refund for the damaged furniture. And they expected me to weigh my furniture myself, furniture that I had needed to hire movers to move because I was unable to do it myself. I wish there was a way I could attach photos of the damage they did to my furniture and to my wall. These guys are a joke and a scam.
