It's incredibly bittersweet to write this review because Super Kidz Club has been such a special part of our family's life. My daughter has been loved, nurtured, encouraged, and genuinely cared for during her time here. As a parent, one of the hardest things is trusting other people with your child, and I never had to question whether she was safe, happy, or loved at Super Kidz Club. The teachers truly got to know her, her personality, her little quirks, what made her happy, and treated her like one of their own. I've watched my daughter learn SO much here. Her language, independence, confidence, and social skills have grown tremendously, and I know the environment and staff played a huge part in that. She formed real relationships with both her teachers and her little friends, and seeing how excited everyone was to see her each day always made me feel good about leaving her. What I appreciate most is that this never felt like a place where my child was simply being "watched." She was being taught, encouraged, comforted, celebrated, and loved. We're moving on to our next chapter, and saying goodbye has been much harder than I expected. These women became part of our daughter's village, and I will forever be grateful for the role they played during such an important stage of her life. If you're a parent looking for a place where your child will be known and genuinely cared for, I cannot recommend Super Kidz Club enough. Thank you for loving my baby so well. read more

My son goes here after school every day, and both my son and daughter have attended Summer Camps there as well. What I love most about this place is that the staff is willing to work with you. My daughter is autistic, and this can sometimes cause challenges for her when she goes to a new child care center. She loves it there. While other places have called us to pick her up at the first sign of anything going wrong, they will call us and work with us to figure out how to help her. I know my kids are safe and well taken care of, there's always fun activities, and the staff is warm and experienced. read more

My son Braylen has been attending Super Kidz Club since he was just 17 months old, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredible daycare. In many ways, Super Kidz Club helped shape some of his biggest milestones. He actually learned to walk here with the loving encouragement of Ms. Gloria, better known as "Ms. Go Go" to the kids. Watching the care and dedication she showed him from such a young age was truly special. Over the years, Braylen has learned so much, including his letters, numbers, and even how to count to 10 in Spanish. The teachers are kind, patient, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and happiness. They have become much more than teachers, they have become part of our family. Braylen made so many wonderful friends here and always felt comfortable, safe, and excited to go each day. As he now moves on to TK, it is bittersweet to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to our family. Super Kidz Club will forever hold a special place in our hearts. This review is way overdue! I have two kids who attend this school, both infant center and preschool program. I attended a local home-care for about 1 1/2 years prior but wanted to switch into a larger school for my older son to gain more social skills and have a larger space to play. My older son started their preschool program about 1 year ago and he looks forward to school everyday. He has learned so many new things and brings home the cutest artwork. My younger son began attending the infant program about 6 months ago. He's definitely a wild one with high energy but they take great care of him - always giving me updates about his day. Shout out to Ms. Gloria in the infant center who shows the love and matches the energy to keep up with him! Ms. Nicole, who is the Director, shows her passion with the children. I have seen Ms. Nicole in action during the preschool singing time and she was great! She also has an awesome Assistant Director, Ms. Marshay, along with amazing teachers, who take very good care of all the children. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new school! I had great vibes from the moment I spoke with Ms. Nicole. She is flexible, reasonable, and very understanding which was a major plus for me when choosing this school for our kids. I am having a difficult time writing this review because I do really like the director, Nicole. I think she means well, is super down to earth, and is trying her best to run a program and really does care about the kids, but I can't feel good if I didn't write this review and explain what happened to my son here and warn others about the lack of care that was provided to my child. This was myself and my son's very first day care experience. We spent the first two years together and we were finally going to have him go to day care so I could start working again. This was painful on both of us. It was an extremely hard transition on him, but mostly myself. I had issues thinking about my child being away from his mother for the first time and thinking, "Will they take care of him like I do?" "Will they actually love him and make sure he is okay?" "Will he actually like it there and be happy?" I think that is every mom's worst nightmare because it is difficult when you can't be there to supervise your child and you are literally entrusting your life's greatest treasure into someone else's care. Top on Corona Virus and it made it harder because I couldn't even go into the facility to see what was going on or what he was doing (totally understandable though). But it did make the initial experience that much harder. I would say for the entire first month my son cried the entire morning just mentioning the word school. He would scream and beg to stay home with me. It absolutely broke my heart. I figured that a month was a really long time for this to still be going on, but I had heard from others that this can be normal and it will get better and I just figured that he was having a harder transition because me and him had spent so much time together prior. That part did get better, but he still never was excited to go to school and always still begged to stay. He still cried in the morning, but would eventually get over it. Every time I would pick him up from school, he would run out to me crying with this look on his face that he couldn't wait to get out of there. But, I know this was still hard on him and I figured he just missed me a lot. This is when red flags started to come up. When they would open the door to let the child in or let the child go, from what I could see all the kids were thrown together, although they were supposed to be separated by age and class. The first time something actually happened to my child was when I picked him up from school. The teacher handed him off to me and I could feel his diaper was extremely puffy. He clearly had a dirty diaper on. I took him immediately home and started to change him. He had been sitting in his own poop for a very long time. It was clear because it took me forever to get the poop off of his butt. I had to really scrub it and get warm wash cloths. My child was crying because it hurt so bad and he then had diaper rash from this for a couple of days. I had sent the director an email about this and she was honestly so nice about it and very apologetic and really seem appauled that somehow her staff let this get by. I am a super down to earth person and I know mistakes happen. It was the first time, so I wasn't too concerned. Nicole made me feel very good about the talk she was going to have with her staff and that the diapering schedule would be ensured with them. She said she never sends her kids home like that and she promised me it would never happen again. Two days later I go to pick up my child and the teacher hands him off to me. Again, he had a puffy diaper. I instantly changed him in the car before I left because I wanted to make sure this hadn't happened again because then I would have wanted to speak in person about this and show her. So, again, he had poop in his diaper. I called Nicole, who then came out, and instructed me to go inside so we could change him properly in there and so that I also could talk to the staff and see what was going on. It turned out I just picked up my kid before the next diaper change and granted, this poop was fresher. I then suggested that they need to start checking him every hour and especially around 3 PM because this seemed to be when he would go poop there. At this point, my boyfriend and I had our doubts about this place and the fact Wyatt was still so upset when we had to take him to school, we decided we would change day cares. Wyatt was scheduled to start at his new day care in two weeks, but we actually had to pull him out a week early and take off of work. The last straw was picking my child up and seeing that he had the worst diaper rash with poop smear still on his rear. It was the worst diaper rash I have ever seen when he left my care w/ a perfect rear. He couldn't even get in the bath it hurt so bad and he was screaming and crying the whole night just trying to change him or put cream on it. His rear was literally inflamed and the skin had been compromised.He cried for 2 days after. Never again. read more

Let me just start off by saying this. As a mother of 3 boys, child care is always difficult to find. Whether you are on aid and the state is paying all or a portion, you are coming out of pocket or whatever the case may be. It is very hard to trust people these days, let alone be able to afford it. With that being said, this daycare has been a lifesaver for me and my family. I'm not too sure of the years that my youngest child attended here, but I was pleased. Maybe not all the time or with everything, but I have never been horrified, disgusted or shocked by anything, as stated by others in their reviews. First off, Nicole has ALWAYS worked with my budget. I totally understand that she runs a business, and she in return understands that her helping brings referrals, I'm sure. (I have referred at least 4 people I want to say.) She accepts subsidy payments from the County as well. Ms. Recka is one of the BEST teachers she has had. Very caring, understanding and communicates very well. I want to say the other two teachers that were there was Ms. Kelly and Ms. Jessica were wonderful as well. Not sure who works there now as It has been some time ago that my child was attending, but I'm sure her staff is very pleasant, kind and knowledgeable. I was referred by my Welfare to Work worker as I had to attend my Job Search/ Cal Works classes and needed a child care that picked up my child form school. Nicole provided that service. It was such a convenience. They provided homework time and always updated me on what was going on with my child, as I know he can be challenging at times. Now, granted, it's not some super fancy smancy place, but it isn't a dump either. It is where she has had tons of children over the years and things naturally get worn out and tattered, torn, dirty. But I have never had an issue with cleanliness or nothing out of the normal as any other daycare. Trust me, I have seen great, good and horrible. In the summer, Nicole always has tons of activities planned for the kids. Baseball games, Waterworld, Six Flags, Museums, Parks, Roller Skating and themed days. She also has picture days and has parents participate in snack days. if you need affordable daycare, I would recommend Super Kidz Club. If you need a place for your kids to enjoy the Summer without giving up an arm and a leg, I would recommend Super Kidz Club. If you need a place for your kids to go to and the teachers care, I would recommend Super Kidz Club. Try it, you may like it. read more

All of the teachers are amazing and patient with the kids. My daughter was excited and happy to go to school everyday at Super Kidz Club! She is now moving on to kindergarten and I feel they have prepared her for what is to come next in her educational journey. Did a tour last week...YUCK!!! Just call the local contra costa county for ALL their VIOLATIONS. The place is FILTHY. I think many of the parents are on food stamps / subsidy with govt. and don't have a choice. The staff there are not awful, but frustrated and clearly no interest in kids. Not sure its the staff fault, I'm guessing they are being paid min. wage for a job that should be paid AT PAR with teachers. Would never let my kid even go there for a day, let alone some had their infants in with all the other kids in the same room just picking dirt off the ground or being stepped on (accidentally) by the older toddlers. When I was there, a kid was trying to get a staff members attention because she needed to go potty, the staff ignored her, and she wet herself. Then another member of staff started scolding the toddler. Terrible. read more

Great before and after school program. My oldest went here till he was 13 and my youngest is still here. It is good to know your kids are in safe hands when you're at work. The teachers here are super friendly and they really get to know your kids. Teacher Amy is really great with kids and is always laughing with them. Teachers will make sure homework is done before going home (love this). I did read previous post and I have never seen any 17 year old at this school? My kids have been going here in total for 8 years (they are 5 years apart) so I really know this program. This school program also has a drop off / pick off for school age kids which is great! I commute (who doesn't in the bay) and this is heaven. To know that my son has a ride to and from school is the best. Not sure about all the schools they go to but I know for sure Woodside, Sequoia, and Ygnacio. They also have a great school summer program,best by far! They don't just sit around. They go to Cowell pool, Santa Cruz, Water World, Great America, Skating, Bowling, Heather's Farm park, etc.. you get the point fun, fun, fun, and more fun! My twins went to this daycare for about 6 months. It was convenient and felt safe. Nicole and her assistant at the time always made it easy for me to drop them off. I work at a hospital close by so they would even let me in 5 mins early to make it to work. Kids cry when moms leave, it's natural but when I picked my guys up they were always having an amazing time. The breakfast, snack times, sing alongs and playtime are impeccable. The teachers were all warm and kind individuals. I loved the mixed population and diverse curriculum. I only wish the hours didn't change. I've struggled to find the same care. Til this day is drive from Antioch to Concord just for SKC. The price was the best and the care exceeded what i paid for. If you want safe reliable and honest care, this is the place. Parents, Diapers get dirty, kids get muddy and things aren't 100% perfect anywhere but this is the closest. This daycare needs serious help. My son only attended for a month and he dreaded going to school every day. I was waiting outside to have a "teacher" take him inside and the kid ahead of us was coughing and had to get his temperature checked twice before they let him inside because he was on the county program. After that incident, I did not let my son go back to that school. read more

I love this preschool/childcare! I found Nicole due to a referral from a friend who had his daughters attending, I was assured how amazing it was. Super Kidz was my first "center" experience, as my oldest had only attended an "in-home" daycare prior to preschool. Nicole was warm and welcoming, and gave me a thorough tour, and guided me through everything that the kids would be doing, and enrollment. She is insanely easy to work with, easy to get a hold of and is an amazing advocate for "her" kids (all of the Super Kidz in her care). Here I am ... about 8 years later... and ALL of my kids attend, my younger three since birth. Nicole is picky about who she hires, her only concern is about what is best for the kids. She also works with families to see how she can help if finances are the issue. Super Kidz has also provided pick up and drop off services when school was in session (in person, you know, before the 'Rona), which for me was a major life saver as a single parent working full time. Parents are asked to make donations each month, of snacks, utensils, plates etc.. (let's be honest, small things that are inexpensive), these items are used for all of the kids and help provide extra snacks other than their packed lunches. Nicole has even made it where if "OMG I FORGOT MY KIDS LUCH", guess what... Nicole has your back... she'll make sure your kid is fed! (this has happened more than once to me LOL, and my kids have never once complained about the food). My littles love coming here, and love their friends that they've made. They also pretty much never leave without hugging Nicole or their teachers! I also want to add that every time I had gone to pick up my kids (pretty much regardless of what time) there was always someone cleaning, sweeping, wiping down tables/chairs, etc.. I have the utmost confidence in Nicole and her team in caring for my kids. read more

What I can say positively about this place is that the owner is very down to Earth, is willing to work with you financially and they are very flexible with your schedule; however, the overall quality of this program is low. Don't get me wrong, I listen to top 40 music, however I don't find it appropriate to play Rihanna's S&M in the preschool room while the staff are dancing to it and the kids are just standing around. It also seems to me that the staff are not all properly educated in early childhood education as one person who dealt with my child and a couple others used terms towards them that gave my child a stigma. There are appropriate ways, terms and strategies to properly deal with young children. This doesn't reflect the quality per se, but one thing that bothered me in particular is that the bathrooms are through another unused room and across a hall that was unseen to staff and the children there 0-17 years old. I can go on but in short, you truly do get what you pay for. And not to mention my child never looked forward to going and always tried to reason with me not to go. Listen to your kids. I'm glad our stay here was short and that I found an alternative. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this daycare! I absolutely love Super Kidz! Nicole, the owner is THEE SWEETEST! Her entire team are amazing and also so very sweet! Nicole goes that extra mile to make her daycare OUTSTANDING! She listens to the parents needs and concerns! shes super understanding and works things out! one time i forgot to put my daughters lunch box in her bag and it was no problem at all for them to make sure she ate. My son has been going here for approximately a month and he has been doing great! He is talking a lot more and really using sentences. He does not hesitate to walk in and get started nor does he cry when we pick up. They always give updates on how his day went and they are willing to answer all our overprotective mommy/daddy questions we throw their way. I am glad to see him become more independent of me, his mom, since he has been with me 24/7 most of his 2 years. So thankful for Super Kidz club, Miss Nicole and staff. My 4 year old son who has been attending this school for about 2 years is thriving. Miss Nicole is so patient, and works with my son who struggles with some behavioral issues. He is excited to attend school each day, and has a blast and comes home singing songs from school, counting and more. They have a huge play area, and large indoor area as well. Miss Nicole is so understanding when it comes to almost anything, she is super down to earth and non judgemental. We went to another school before this one, and we almost felt shunned each day we dropped off and picked him up, since he has a hard time following instructions sometimes and is high energy, but not at this school. They have been a godsend for us since day 1. Her facility is clean, they provide food/snacks daily, and they are super flexible with days and times. I would recommend this school, and if I had more young kids I would have them each attend. read more

In addition, this is a minority-owned, small, locally-oned business, not a giant corporation where corporate policies wriiten somewhere else will dictate what your child will see and do. This review is long overdue, but deserving. My children (now a 10 year old little girl and 6 year old boy) has been going to SKC for years, for after school care and Summer Camp. I've had my share of child care centers and home daycares, that led me to trust my gut and remove my kids - a choice I'm happy to exercise at any given moment. Wholeheartedly, I'd recommend this center, Ms. Nicole and the staff, to a friend or relative for child care. They've been supportive in making arrangements to make sure they could pick up my son from school, even if it meant hiring extra staff. My husband and I have always felt comfortable discussing lesson plans for educational growth and development - the team has always been open to change, and our requests. Our kids are always happy when I pick them up and have never complained about being dropped off. The kids get lots of face time with other little ones, and plenty of sun time. The cost is reasonable but to balance that, parents are asked to contribute to supplies and snacks monthly, and provide a lunch/snack for their child weekly - which I'm happy to do because I have a welcomed responsibility in making sure my kids have healthy eating options, as well as the rest of the children. They've been reliable and flexible with our personal schedule changes. I've always received a call if my child wasn't feeling well and assured they'd keep him/her comfortable until I arrived. My children are old enough to share an articulate account of their experiences/observations, and I've never had to question discipline or mistreatment. I make unannounced visits when I forget bedding or food and I've never felt unwelcome to stop by or visit my children at any given time. They keep a clean and healthy setting. I can go to work every day not questioning the care my children are receiving and that's the best feeling a parent could ask for. read more

I love my son's daycare! All his caregivers are excellent and he always has a great day. I started bringing him here in April when he was 7 months old and am so happy I found this place. I initially was looking for a smaller place in Oakland where I live (I work in Concord) but due to price, hours and waitlists couldn't get in. This place had an opening for him and is close to my work. My first day I was nervous as any new mom would be but he didn't cry so I didn't either. His social skills have developed better than I could have imagined, and he starts smiling as soon as we walk to the door. I love all his caregivers and all the other parents and kids I have met. If you are looking for a safe place for your child, look no further! They also do arts, music and outdoor activities with all the kids, even the infants. Super Kidz Club is an wonderfully affordable, engaging, and beautifully diverse community daycare/preschool in Concord. Nicole (Director) and Ms. Recka (Asst. Director & Teacher) are spot-on fabulous! Our son went there when he was 4-5, and our daughter when she was 2-3. We were moving from WA to CA and needed to find a supportive, reliable place for our kids in the massive transition. We reached out to Nicole and she was SO GREAT! She communicated clearly and helped reassure us everything would be okay. Because of her, we had childcare lined-up even before we moved!! Once here, Nicole and Recka really went the extra mile to make sure our kids felt heard, loved, and had their needs met. Nicole is quick to respond to texts or emails, very accommodating of changing schedules/routines, and she came to our kids' birthday parties like an extended member of the family! :-) Life has now taken us in other directions, but we will always be grateful for their kindness, love, and compassion, and we look forward to going back to visit! read more
