Mixed feelings about this experience. I got 3 quotes and was hoping this would have been a better experience. The cost was in the middle of the three quotes I got. Pros: the finished product looks nice. No complaints there. Cons: Marty said he would have a crew and it would take a week to do the house and garage. After a day the crew vanished - then he went on vacation and left one person to do the rest of the work. That man did a good job and worked hard (even recruiting his wife) but having one person do most of the work and taking so much longer was not what I signed up for. For one thing - I signed a contract with Marty based on his expertise. I did not know what I was getting into with the person who ended up doing the work. And I would not have gone with someone who was going to leave the job and have someone else finish it. He decided the start date and should not have started the project if he had a vacation planned in the middle of it. Also, having workers here every day meant a barking dog throughout the day and I was expecting this to last one week. The project took two weeks and his equipment and two bags of garbage were left here. He picked his equipment up and I guess the garbage is now our responsibility. So... that was my experience. The overall work was decent, barely. They left paint on my glass window, floors, garden hoses and spigot. He swapped out my front garden hose (i hv 2 hoses) and got paint all over it, the sprayer and my spigot. He didnt bother to change em back! He didn't bother to cover or ask me to move a chair and an air purifier before he got paint splatter all over them. Messy lines and sloppy cut ins along the ceilings, doors and floorboards. They also left my bathtub dirty with debris from their drop cloths. Had to point out that the pantry door was not painted (said he didnt notice). Just a half ass cleanup job. Said it would take three or four days because one of his guys didnt show but rushed out after two days. An hour or 2 more of work would hv been enough to address most of the issues. 'Super' mario is a misnomer. 'Not very good' Mario is a more accurate moniker. What PROFESSIONAL painter leaves a mess for the customer to clean up? mario - thats who! I should have paid a few extra bucks and gotten a real pro. I should have known better from his lack of reviews. This mario clown was a joke. read more

Mario just completed my kitchen cabinet painting / refurnishing. All I can say is "Wow!". They look better than new!!! Mario was very detailed in reaching out all the spots of the cabinets, and applying an even coat to all areas. He consulted me as needed or when he had a question. All in all, Happy with the work. Mario has done two jobs at my home, and both have been top notch. Mario pays careful attention to details, and is skilled and professional. He shows up when he says he will, and finishes on time. He leaves the worksite neat and orderly. The finished work is excellent. That said, the real standout was the artistry he showed in applying a faux wood grain finish to my living room beams. No one believes that are painted until they look very closely. I will only hire Mario for any paint jobs I have in the future. read more

I agree with the other (older) reviews - Mario is great and am not sure why he doesn't have more reviews. I reached out to a few different potential Painters and Mario was the only one who consistently responded. He was personable, on-time, efficient and available for questions. We had 3 rooms to paint and Mario worked for 2 days straight to get it done. Sure, we all want it done faster but his attention to detail, focus on getting the task done timely as well as his cleanliness after the project was done made me know I made the right choice. I would not hesitate to hire him again for our other rooms we're still trying to decide what color we want them - that's one decision that's already decided. read more

I was happy I hired Super Mario to paint our two bedrooms. He was prompt on giving free estimates. When I called to request for free estimates, he was working in Daly City but arrived here on time to give the estimates and scheduled to do the job the following day. He always shows up on time at 9:00 AM. Mario, the owner, is so knowledgeable and help me choose colors and gave me ideas. Mario and his crew are easy to work with and very professional. They pay attention to details and do extra steps like double coat the doors and make sure customer is satisfied on their work. They clean up and don't leave any mess after the job is finished. I will hire them again for my next paint jobs soon because of their quality work, fair price, honesty and promptness. In addiittion to painting they also do home decorating and I asked Mario to put railings on our stairs. I would highly recommend them for future paint jobs. read more
