I went to Super Shoe off of a recommendation. I needed dress shoes for a work trip. Surprisingly, they do not sell a single pair of women's high heels. Since it was my first time there I did walk around to look at what they had. I found their shoe prices are high. As far as service, it's a zero (at least on that day). Shoes / Apparel I like this place for a variety of reasons: There is a very large selection of footwear for everyone in the family, there is a very large selection of apparel / work gear as well, and finally, you can almost always score a coupon for this place. I like this location enough to even browse for things that aren't of immediate need - they have a nice selection of seasonal gear as well as everyday items you may need. Prices are hit or miss- you should know the costs for things before assuming it is a bargain. That being said, with the selection as large as it is, you can almost always find something in your budget range. Checkout is usually quick and non-eventful - which works for me, however you almost never see them leave the register area, so help is not all that helpful with respect to finding items. Yesterday I bought I pair of shoes here and I got in the car and not 5 mins I opened the box to show someone and realized quickly they had been worn there was dirt all over the side and the bottoms were filthy and the hearts on the bottoms had been worn off from so much wear. I took them immediately back -again not 5 mins ) I asked to exchange them but they didn't have my size the managers first words to me were , I'm willing to clean them and give them back to you . I told her no thank you I can't pay full price for a pair of worn out shoes and I wouldn't go to a new store to buy new shoes that have been returned and I pay full price for them . She said well unless you want to pay more to have new ones shipped to you all I'm willing to do is wash them up ! Poor service indeed read more

Wide variety of shoes, but completely disorganized! I kept finding shoes that I was interested in purchasing, but then when I would pull out the box with my size under the display, it was a completely different shoe! I thought maybe it was just me, but I realized that there was an eight-digit code that you had to check for on each box. Too. Complicated. A plus? Right now, on your third check-in via foursquare, you get 10% off your purchase. I thought about coming back two more times, checking in, then buying the shoes at the discounted price.... but I wasn't convinced I could find these shoes again :( read more

This store and its employees are a joke, the whole time i was in there I had to find an employee that was not helpful at all and didn't know the answers to amy questions I asked her, not one employee offered to help me, then I get to the checkout a and the cashier rings up my order then I tell her I have a cupon to use for $10.00 off total purchase, so she types the code in and it accepted it, then she goes on to say , oh you cant use that discount cupon because the shoes were buy one pair get another pair half off, and I said why didnt you tell me that to begin with instead of wasting my cupon and my time, so I walked out with nothing due to her negligence about her job. CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION MUST BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THEIR LIST!!!! read more

I am very impressed with my experience at Super Shoes in Lynchburg. I got a pair of Merrells a little over 3 months ago, and the soles recently began to split. I was disappointed of course because they were not cheap, and the Vibram rubber on the soles is supposed to be the best. Despite this flaw, I love the boots. I took them back without my receipt, hoping for the best. The cashier and the manager were extremely friendly and helpful. The manager said that since they obviously were not overly worn down, the splitting rubber must be a defect and no fault of mine. She refunded my money, and since I wanted the same shoe again, she is having a pair shipped right to my house free of charge. That is fantastic customer service if you ask me. I know where I'll be going to buy any shoes/boots in the future. Also, they have a pretty big selection to choose from, with many of the higher quality brands. read more
