The owner chatted with us for a while and knew a ton about the area...safe to say she's awesome. They also do some really cool collabs with local artists and they have a sister shop on Main Street.

I went into the Lynchburg store at 8:29 PM to be greeted by a very rude employee making an "all…read morecall" announcement that the store was closing at 9 PM and all customers needed to bring things immediately to the register. I overheard two customers expressing their surprise and unhappiness. I wanted to try on a pair of pants at 8:40 PM and was told the dressing rooms closed at 8:00 PM. Totally ridiculous! I dropped the pants and immediately left! This used to be one of the best clothing stores in Lynchburg. Now I don't even shop here due to the policies as mentioned, rude employees and lack of selection. I can definitely see why they are struggling. Take your business elsewhere!

I said I'd just like to exchange a gift. She asked who had given it to me and I gave her my friend's name. She said they would not exchange without a receipt. I said I didn't have the receipt (it was a gift) and I felt it would be rude to ask for one. She said if I didn't want to ask for the receipt they wouldn't exchange- even though the transaction is in their POS register. They not only refused, they did it in an incredibly rude tone and manner as I'd barely made it inside the store and was very polite. I just turned around and walked out. I'll never go back. Buyer beware- do NOT buy a gift here!

A decade ago, I loved their clothing designs, and in recent years, the styles have changed and have not fit my personal tastes so much. I wish that they would bring back their classy, timeless styles from the past. Nonetheless, I still occasionally shop here for clothes. This month, J. Crew Factory had a promotion for an extra discount on sale items. I bought a pair of jeans for only $12 plus $7 for shipping and handling! Three days, later this distribution center mailed my jeans. Two days later, the UPS through the USPS delivered the package to my home. I like the jeans, the price, and the delivery.
