I have been coming to this location for over a year and suddenly, they no longer allow trucks/SUVs with tires 275 or bigger. If that were the case, company should've sent out emails to all members and put signs at the gate. Also, instead of standing at the gate monitoring if people need help to pay, maybe said attendants should inform customers of the change. So, to all truck/SUV drivers with big wheels, time to take our businesses elsewhere since Super Star Carwash at the location on Main St can't come up with a better plan than to send us to other locations not convenient. read more

I've traveled through Denver and Arizona and have stopped to get my car washed.Love that. Who wants bug residue all over their window shield while flossing in the city? WHAT ARE OTHER BENEFITS? You can wash your car on Monday. It can rain Tuesday. It can be dry on Wednesday. You can wash your car again on Thursday. Unlimited. Not just washing. Unlimited vacuuming. WHAT ARE THE DRAWBACKS? To be honest I don't know if I get the car wash that I pay monthly particularly on a busy day with an assembly line of cars. I'm sure I've been cheated a few rainbow waxes and tire cleanings. However, I wash my car 1-2xs weekly and this still beats the price of anywhere else. Also, my workaround is that I go in the morning or slow times and then I do get every single service that I pay for. It's a toss up. Yes, the business should have better integrity practices. WHAT IS MOST FRUSTRATING? The air blowers are not on at 7:00 a.m. when they open. This is a consistent mishap that is frustrating. Remember I've been a member since 2023. WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Both me and my husband have the monthly membership on our cars. It took us a few months to commit to it but we have no regrets. The workers are always busy replacing the stations with clean towels, testing the vaccum suction and cleaning up. You'll never find a station that is missing clean towels and that's not the case for all car washes. As long as wash our car more than twice a month, it's a great value for us. My only complaint is that I wish they would bring back the less masculine smelling air fresheners. But otherwise, this place is pretty excellent and we'll be back. read more

We paid for an expensive one-time $25 car wash at Super Star Car Wash Express in Chula Vista, CA. After we exited the car wash and parked our vehicle, we found that the back of our Kia Carnival was still super dirty. You can clearly see all the dirt in the photo I attached. At other car washes, an attendant scrubs the back of my vehicle as I enter in the car wash. No such attendant was present here. This place has gone down so bad on every level!! You gotta run your car 3 times and you're still scrubbing the scar for over 1 hr cuz the soap they use is useless and water isnt clean. Their towels are for of oil. Some stalls dont have vacuums and when there's one it doesn't do the job and can break and arm going back and forth to pic up dirt. Your car will get severe scratchs and oil stains....ruined by brand BMW!!! There's trash all over the ground thats gonna get on your shoes and trail it into your car that you just cleaned and there's always puddles of water around the stalls thats gonna be on your shoes and in your clean car.. Btw I clean my car almost everyday. I have no kids or pets and I'm the only driver. Just in case anyone thinks that my car's so filthy and it's hard to clean. I have brought this issue up to management they show zero concern alright has ever addressed these issues!! Not to mention people blasting their music in all different genres and languages. You feel like your head is gonna burst? Also brought that up to management and people that work there zero concern, never address it, never walk up to the customer to tell them to turn their music off, or turn it down!! And all you want to do is wash your car and get the hell out of there. I've never been to a car wash or a business that management and employees have zero concern or lack of concern of any kind to provide comfort or good service to their customers like this establishment!! I found a car was on Jamacha n washington Lavado express. This place is so immaculate. I drove across country and I had millions of bugs on my front end and everywhere I ran it through only one time. And every bug came off, I don't even need to wash my car that often. The place is spotless. The water is clean. Their products they use to wash your car with is top notch!! Their towels are not oily and gross leaving oil stays all over your car. Your car doesn't get scratches and oil stains on it. only $18 a mnth. And the employees and management are all about customer service cleanliness, providing the best service possible. They're quick to withdraw your monthly payment, but good luck getting help when something goes wrong. If your car gets stuck in the tunnel and causes a chain reaction--like mine did--don't expect a fast response or any real support. The attendants are supposed to be there to prevent this. So why is no one ever around when incidents happen? Someone should be stationed inside the tunnel at all times to monitor and stop the line immediately. It's basic safety and customer service. This has now happened to me twice, and I've had enough. I can wash my car myself--without dragging my insurance company into it because of someone else's negligence. And please, don't bother replying with that generic "contact customer service" response. We all know they only respond when it's time to collect payment. Good riddance. read more

I've been to all locations and the National City location needs to update their equipment! The air pressure hardly works and when they do the a lines are tangled and it takes time to untangle them! The stalls are filthy. Sometimes the vacuums don't or hardly have suction! read more

On November 27, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM, I visited Super Star Car Wash and experienced an issue that demands immediate attention. While being guided into the car wash, my vehicle began shaking and bouncing halfway through the process. The wash failed to complete, leaving my car covered in soap and water. Upon exiting, I inspected my vehicle and discovered damage to my front left wheel. I immediately informed an employee, who confirmed that the rollers had jumped and caused the damage. The employee directed me to the on-duty manager, Dissael, to address the issue. Unfortunately, my interaction with Dissael was extremely disappointing. He displayed a lack of professionalism and poor communication skills throughout the process. After recording my statement, it took him over 10 minutes to provide a written response, which simply stated, "SSCW does not take responsibility." When I requested a written statement from the employee who witnessed the incident, Dissael refused to provide it. Additionally, he declined to share the district manager's contact information, further obstructing the resolution process. This is not the first negative encounter I've had with this manager, and it is clear that additional training in customer service and incident management is urgently needed. I expect Super Star Car Wash to handle this matter promptly and responsibly. read more

I go to this wash 1-2x a week and never any complaints it's convenient and a great price with good facilities. However, my car was damaged at the wash due to negligence from the person who waves thru the car. Instead of making sure everything was aligned they were on the phone the whole time. But it's fine no big deal I can file a claim. Well within an hour of getting home my claim shows as denied by the manager Shawnalynn W. Who also happened to be the person who assisted my car thru the wash while on the phone. According to video footage my hands are on the wheel which is false. But how convenient that the person who was negligent also has authority to deny my claim. Still waiting to hear from their support. I don't know why they won't just take responsibility it's not a big deal just fix it. It's a scuffed rim not $$$ . read more

Unfortunately have to write this review. My car was in the shop for a while and during that period I had a loaner car. And I asked their staff for assistance changing my vehicle (because it would be long term for a few months). Their staff made multiple errors entering the license plate. Kept telling me they couldn't figure it out, bc the scanner wouldn't work to let me in. Finally asked a new member to show me the process and he realized that the last 3 people kept entering the wrong license plate. I finally get my actual car back and this time their "manager" tells me I need proof to change my vehicle next time. (Pretty much accusing me of abusing my membership) which I barely even use. Super rude, but unfortunately it's the closest car wash to my house. Today the machine stopped working completely and they made me drive my vehicle out (the section at the end was sticking up and could have popped my tire). And their car wash is always always malfunctioning. (Manager tells me there's a 2 car switch limit per year btw and I had only ever switched my car once). This Super Star is way better than the one on 3rd, better parking lot, higher quality vacuums. I have had a membership for a few years because I drive ride-share and need things to be clean. In the last month or so the staff seem to be getting lazy, in the past the clean towels were folded and placed in the containers. Now they are just shoved in there and you can hardly tell if they are clean or dirty. The staff also put the cars WAY too close together. I understand that in their minds they are thinking the machine won't let the cars crash but sometimes the car in front of you brakes in the dryer and stops moving forward and you are being pushed towards it. This morning I had a close call, the guy's car wasn't moving and he was oblivious how close I was getting. If you come here, sit and wait to pull into the tunnel until the car in front of you is a few feet past the start of the machines. You will need the extra space. read more

The car wash itself was "fine" for a drive through. Not perfect but for $15 it was fine. My issue is with the automatic renewal plan I was pushed into buying. I was told that they were running a special for unlimited washes for $15 for the first month, so I signed up with the intention of cancelling after a few washes (it would renew automatically at $25 after that). The issue is that this business makes it literally IMPOSSIBLE to cancel the membership. They do not have a phone number where you can speak to an actual human. Everything directs you to the website to cancel. When trying to cancel via the website I am told my account cannot be found and I do not have one. There is a generic "contact us" form that I filled out a few days ago, but have not heard back. I fully expect them to continue to charge my card without authorization. I would recommend that you DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE MONTHLY PLAN. Pay with cash! Do not let them have your credit card under any circumstances. i recommend all customers to check your credit card where you charged your fee, as i discover that they are charging me for 3 cars when i only have 2 cars. when i spoke with the branch manager, they cannot locate the plate number of the other vehicle, & the only words i hear from him is "there is nothing i can do", that i need to email my concern , which i did & they response after 3 weeks & continue to over charge my card, & by the time they cancell one of the subscription, they cancell my own car & continue charge me up to this month .today when i came to wash my car it wont let me in and it says, subscription cancelled & need to renew, the lady who help me uses somebody else's plate number to let me in. it was so inconvenient for the customers the way they handle concerns & issues, they cannot provide number to call. carwash is good but not the customer service. read more

Garbage Service! I came in for a regular wash, the car only got rinsed. Paid 12 dollars for a wash. I asked the worker why the machines never touched the car he told me that I could run in through again. He explained that sometimes they miss the cars.
