If I could give zero stars, I would. Be very careful if you bring your car here. I took my car in on Saturday the 16th for a regular wash, and when it came out of the tunnel, there was a huge scratch on the passenger side all the way down to the metal. I immediately spoke with the manager, who insisted it was "impossible" that the scratch happened at the car wash. We reviewed the camera footage, but he refused to show me other angles, claiming the cameras didn't work or the footage was too "distorted" to tell if the scratch was there before. Conveniently, this meant they would not accept any responsibility. What's worse is that in the footage you can clearly see my car without the scratch--yet the manager still dismissed it, hiding behind the "poor quality" of their cameras as an excuse. My friend recommended this place and I'm so disappointed. I chose the $42.00 option and my car was not vacuumed properly and the outside was horribly done. Also no scent was added to my car. They rushed the whole service .I was in and out in less than 20 minutes when my friend said they take about an hour for the same service I picked. I've been here to wash the fleet vehicles for my office but finally decided to bring my own vehicle since I remember good customer service. As someone who avidly does not wash their car and probably should... I finally broke down and took my car and I was pleasantly surprised at the job I got here! My car was filthyyyyy and I had little faith that it would look as good as it did. The pricing seems very good given that even self car washes will run you about $15. I had family coming in from out of town and wanted my car to be all cleaned up...I ended up having to do it myself...that was NOT my plan! UPDATE: After I left a negative review yesterday, the owner called me personally to apologize an offered to remedy the situation. He asked us to bring the vehicle back the next day to repair the seat. Even his staff called to follow-up just to make sure we'd bring it in. They all sounded completely sincere. So we've updated our review to 5 stars because they really went above and beyond what one would expect these days. Most of the time, you don't get a response from a company. Or they try to flip it around and blame the customer. They didn't do that in this case. I can respect their efforts to resolve the issue quickly and honestly. We really appreciate it. Thank you. We will be back in the future. Previous Review: Went in for an expensive interior detail. $150. They wound up leaving pooled up water under one of the seats. Blew a fuse. And moved the rear carpet to clean it, but when they put it back, weren't paying attention and jammed the seat clip with it. (It definitely wasn't like that when I gave it to them - they have No Excuse for trying to cover it up.) They told me my car would take all day to clean. The person cleaning it, cut the carpet off so the piece was still stuck in it. The seat wouldn't move when we got it back. That's when we discovered it. I'm pissed I gave them such a good tip. Hands down the BEST Car Wash in IB! I've been bringing my vehicles here for the last 20 years (I'm almost 60 now! ) They are always friendly and efficient. My vehicle always looks awesome after they're done. Going to try to make this story short to show you what type of people work here. I brought my car for a wash, they did a great job. Later in the day when I went to remove my backseat, I couldn't get it to work. The only place I had been, was the car wash. I went back and inquired, and the assistant managers were more than happy to help me. To my amazement the fault was my OWN, and my vehicle needed some WD-40 ‍, which they generously supplied. I've come to this place 6 times now and they've always done a really good job. I've got a beater car with really bad dents and a sunroof that won't close but they take the time to tape it shut with plastic so my interior doesn't get wet and it doesn't get more damage. This is the only place I've found that takes the time to do all that. I'm also really bad with finding the time to bring my car in so it gets pretty dirty and they are not lazy with making sure it's sparkling when I pull away. Today, we dropped off our truck for a wax. Jesse directed to have our truck assessed for a regular or clay wax after it was washed. He determined that clay was needed on the roof and the hood and a regular wax all the way around. Also, we added a leather conditioning inside. A regular wax is $75. Reasonably priced. I recently visited Crystal Clean Car Wash and was disappointed by their service. I tried to upgrade to the Super Deluxe wash, but was turned down because they were closing in an hour. Meanwhile, the car next to me received the Super Deluxe and finished before mine--seems like a strange policy. In the end, they lost out on an extra $20. I'm actually glad I didn't pay for the upgrade, as the Deluxe wash I received wasn't thorough at all. Once I got home, just under a mile away, I noticed tons of water streaks and lint from their rags all over my car. I had to spend my own time detailing it. For a much better experience, I'd recommend Soapy Joe's or, even better, the 43rd Wash across the street. They are much more detailed and will leave you satisfied. read more

A little disappointed. I've only written 3 reviews and they were all positive but I'm a little disappointed. Customer service was great. But the actual car wash was sub par. I bought the super deluxe ($34.99) but as you can see from the photos they didn't do a thorough job at all. Still lots of dust and dirt. The covered everything in oil. I also requested the black ice air freshen and they skipped it completely. Dead bees under the windshield. Smudges on windows. Dust and dirt and sand all over the place. What did I pay $34.99+ tip for ‍ 3 stars instead of 2 bcz they were all really nice and when I had an issue with my lisence plate cover missing the manager was prompt to take care of it. I have been coming to this car wash since I moved back to IB 2 years ago, and continue to come here after moving to Chula Vista. I have gotten them all: Wash $13.99, Super Wash $15.99, Deluxe Wash $17.99, Super Deluxe Wash $32.99, Hand Wax $44.99. I try and get my car hand waxed every three months and in between waxes I just choose between the different washes they offer depending on how filthy my car is. I loved using the yelp check-in for the free hanging air fresher, but it doesn't look like they offer that anymore. My favorite scent is baby powder and I get tons of compliments from my passengers on the scent. All you have to do is pull in, wait for the attendant to come to your car, tell them what wash / service you want, wait to pull forward to the vaccum, leave your car on, get out and head to the office to pay. The entrance is on Florida St. They offer loyalty cards and I love to use my free wash to take some money off of the hand wax! read more

I always get my cars mobile detailed/hand washed, but this morning sprinklers hit my newly washed car. I decided to take my GT63s to Crystal Clean Car Wash right after this incident to get it hand washed. The man told me they don't hand wash, but their equipment is so light it won't hurt the car. I explained to him I had a ceramic coating and he said it would be no problem; they wash Maserati and Rolls Royce vehicles, according to him. When my car came out, the hood was clearly scratched and damaged by an automated buffer machine. See pictures. This is UNACCEPTABLE. If you have a nice car or a car you care about, DO NOT GO HERE.
