Long overdue review so I can get it off my chest. For August 2022 they were 5stars so deceiving. I had a terrible experience and I was traumatized. Instructor Marylou gets a 1star, reception communication was good and helpful scheduling. Story time: I was a complete newbie to driving and got a 10 class package. My instructor was a Phillipino lady, not good to me. I thought she was nice the first day but turns out she was not patient at all and felt a bit bipolar and contradicting. We spent most lessons learning just how to turn left and right. She will scream at me and say the words RELEASE the wheel, and then get mad when I did. She will tell me to press the gas when I was going 20/25 and tell me I was very slow and press the gas for me. She made me so nervous questioning my every movement. She told me that I WAS GIVING HER A HEADACHE and gave me a look then touched her head...referring to me pressing on the gas/break. Anyway, this woman traumatized me and I was totally unprepared. I was dumb enough to not switch instructor earlier. I did when I only had 3 classes left. My new instructor was pleasant, too bad I don't recall his name. He also told me people complained about her. He was so patient and I was learning way better. But the damage was done and I was sent out to take the road test unprepared. The day of my test that woman was being nice to me and wished me luck and said she believed in me? Not cool. I felt I was unprepared and they new it and didn't say anything? anyhow, I failed miserably. Up until today I still feel the bad experience from this lady...everytime I pass by this school I freaking get anxious and mad. I don't wish this upon anyone . read more

MY experience with this auto school, my VOICE. I purchase 10 lesson that I "thought" this school was, a very respectful and  thoughtful place but I was WRONG. Seeing the reviews of this auto driving school, is seem very fake, how is this school still all 5 stars. People who took one lesson or one day to take their car to their test, those are the reviews that was 5 stars, or it can be family and friends. It was my first first day and I get a young girl, mind you I don't know how to use the brake or drive. Always saying hello how are you with the sweetest voice with the most respect to all teachers, but what do I get a rude voice and very aggressive attitude and im paying about $450.00+, making me have anxiety and not comfortable behind the wheel, a very bad start from this experience. Sadly No refund. *So on my 7th lesson, I got this older man(owner). Right out full attitude, yelling at me saying "don't do this don't do that, why did you do that" I kept saying sorry to him, I let his attitude and yelling pass me for THAT day, fine. But when I got my 9th lesson before my test day, got the old man agian, gave me a whole full attitude AGIAN and yelling at me, I kept saying sorry, but I was DONE letting him DISRESPECT me, I'm not going to let any man yell at me as a woman, he is SO disrespectful and very rude, and I request to switch cars and be with the nice lady. I mean Who does that?, I do not care about if he had a "bad day". Do your job with a respectful voice, be respectful to me as a customer. Don't let your woman say sorry for your action when your the owner of this auto school. Downgrading woman, SHAME. Any girls who does NOT like being yelled at with disrespect or doesnt like to feel stupid, ask for Omar or especially that older nice lady. The school messed up the scheduling and I ended up didn't get to take my driving class. They apologized for the mistake but it was a waste of my time to travel all the way there and realizing this so definitely precall to triple check your appointment time. In addition, during this pandemic the receptionist and instructors were either not wearing masks or wearing it to cover the full face. Quite concerning since they weren't doing the proper safety protocols so I'm glad it didn't work out. Ended up finding a better driving instructor that use the face mask properly and respecting the safety protocols. read more

Passed after 5 lessons on my first try!!! I'm so happy. I had 5 lessons practice + road test. Said and Omar are AMAZING instructors, highly recommend both. Said took me to the road test, and we practiced for a full lesson right before it, going over and over the same moves to make sure I do it perfectly He is extremely knowledgeable, observant, and puts 200% effort into making sure I pass. You get what you pay for. The owners are also the instructors and can borderline between sweet and mean. Learning to drive is pretty stressful enough, but these instructors can add to it real quick. I will say though it did help me learn and get my license, but this review is to let everyone know what to expect. Another drawback to my experience is unfortunately the instructors are hard to understand. They are not fluent in English so when driving and making fast decisions, it's hard when you get yelled at because you couldn't understand what was initially said. My last criticism is that at the end of it all, you feel forced to write a positive review for them. I bought a 7 class package from them and I was still scared that it might not be enough or I wont be ready. But... I got my license TODAY, LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AFTER I BOUGHT THE PACKAGE. I learned everything I know from the instructors here. They made sure I was absolutely ready! - they are so caring and make sure you are absolutely prepared when you go to take your test. They will give you tips and tell you exactly how to fix your mistakes if you end up doing something wrong during the test because there is no do-over. I had to commute 2 hours everyday for my lesson but it was soooo worth it. I looked over 50 schools before I picked them and they had the best reviews AND PRICES of any other. this isn't a good school for people who are beginning. i had a lady who i'm guessing is the owner (short lady with blonde hair) as my instructor. i only drove with her twice . she had no patience . Then , my second time driving she did not even want to drive with me . her and her employees were talking about me in their Russian language which i understand and i wont repeat because its just mean . Afterwards, when we got in the car she smiled in my face and pretended like she didnt know who i was and wasn't just laughing and joking about me . they had me waiting and sitting in the lobby for another guy because she did not want to take me on the road . i am an experienced driver at that . she also clearly did not want to do the lesson with me and pushed me off to someone else the day of my test. i failed my test with them but i then took my test a few days later with another school and i passed . not blaming them for failing but they arent nice people read more

I called the company to get a refund and he told me that I couldn't get one. He told me that they started the refund policy after I left (I attended this school from April-June). He then told me that I should have asked for a refund, and then I told him there's a sign that stated no refunds. It wouldn't make any sense to ask. I recently completed the five hour course with three driving classes, plus car for the road test. I was extremely pleased with the customer service provided, flexibility, and genuine investment from the staff to ensure that I had the confidence to pass my road test. During the road test Said provided feedback on the course, what to look out for, and positive support. He was truly offended and dismayed with another instructor who laughed at their students that failed the test. HORRIBLE! A bunch of liars at this place. I knew it was shady going into it but the price was very competitive so we gave it a shot. My daughter purchased a lesson package. No problem. Went to take her road test and failed. Super starz called her back to reschedule without mentioning she will owe another $100 to use their car again for the road test. This is not in the contract anywhere. BEWARE. The staff is very rude, especially the boy who sounds like he's 15 years old answering phones after 5pm and on weekends. Only giving 2 stars because the ONE session I had was a good experience and the pre-licensing course instructor was delightful. Otherwise, I'd suggest skipping this driving school if you don't want to deal with disrespect, incompetence, and people talking about you in a different language right in front of your face. I book my first driving lesson with the school. I pay over the phone because they don't have paypal or an option to pay online. They send me a picture of the receipt, which is fine, I figure I'll go to the establishment to pick up my copy for my records. I reach out for information on the pre-licensing course multiple times, and finally get a response. They tell me I'll get information on the course day of, I block out the whole day the course is supposed to happen because I have no idea what time the course will start. Either way, I attend the prelicensing course. It was a breeze because the instructor was sweet, and made the course interesting and engaging. My driving lesson is the following day. The instructor was personable, reassuring, experienced, and a good instructor. I finish the lesson and go inside to schedule the next lesson. There is a young boy (i wanna say late teens) at the front desk. I make the appointment with him, let him know I'd like to sign the pre-licensing course certificate, and I want a copy of my receipt. I sign the pre-licensing course certificate, he doesn't give it to me, which was weird to me, but I'm a first time driver, so I assumed it was something they kept. When I ask for the receipt, he proceeds to tell me, "we sent you a picture of it". I said yeah, but I'd like to have the physical customer copy. In the picture the receipt is on a invoicing notepad that has a copy with each page. Then he says, "we throw it away after a certain point". What??? Throw it away. I ask, "you throw the receipts away?". He said yeah, all of a sudden a man behind him started talking in another language to the boy with a scowl on his face. He keeps looking at me and gesturing. he says,"Well I'll look in the book we have". I say ok, but in my head I'm like why didn't you do that to begin with, and why is it such a problem. He looks through the book, and tells me, it's not there. I go did you throw it away? He doesn't answer just keeps tell me, I sent you a picture of it. At this point, I'm annoyed so I let it go, and I leave. The next week it snows. I receive a text that my class is cancelled. I text back and ask if there's availability for the following week. They say no, it's fully booked. I asked, well, what dates are available. The reasonable response is to share the dates in the next few weeks that are available during the same time. They repeat they are fully booked, and that they triied calling me this morning. I checked my missed calls, nothing came through. I repeat my question because I guess it wasn't....simple enough. They send me a screenshot of my phone being silenced. Just because my phone is silenced doesn't mean my calls aren't coming through. I received a call from my mom the same time he said he "called" me. At this point I'm annoyed because not only are you wasting my time, you're lying to me. He sends over different times without checking into find out if the time works with me. After this I reach out asking if there is a later time in the day that I can do one of my lessons. At this point, I've doubled up so many lessons, that it's impacting other responsibilities I can only attend to on the weekend. The response I get is that I already took one lesson....what the hell does that have to do with anything? I restate my question, do you have time availability for later in the day and suggest a time, all they send back is a screenshot of the new dates. At this point, I'm annoyed because I've made reasonable requests that would be fulfilled at any other reputable establishment, and they've given me a hard time every step of the way. I ask for a refund and a cancellation of the rest of my appointments, because I have other responsibilities, but mainly because I don't want to have to deal with some rude person every time I need anything from them. I go in the next day, for my refund, it was the only smooth process lol. And I realize I need my certificate to go to another driving school, so I go back (unfortunately) to pick it up, the older man is there again, but this time there's another older man there, and they're talking in another language while looking at me and gesturing again. The boy hands me my certificate, I thank him (for releasing me from this annoying experience) and as I'm leaving, he asks if this'll be all. I respond "what?". He says, "you're not gonna need anything else right?". I say, no and leave. I didn't even have a second lesson. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest this school to anyone as long as this kid is handling the front office duties and correspondence. The important thing here is tone; It's not what they're saying but how they say it; Every interaction I had with them give me the distinct impression that they didn't want me to be there, which is weird flex when you're operating as a place of business. My boyfriend had bought me a package for my birthday and I am so glad he bought them here! He went based off of the reviews & rightfully so. I was holding off getting my license for a VERY long time but I'm proud to say Friday I passed my road test and I couldn't be more excited . I honestly couldn't have done it without them. Between the two instructors, they are SO PATIENT and they are great teachers! All of the staff makes you feel very comfortable and makes sure you understand and know everything.
