Orange Chicken is amazing! My go-to in the West Frankfort area, people are super nice always. Perfect for a quick and great-priced lunch.

This was the first time I've visited the Super Wok & I had to ask myself, "Self what took you so long to check this place out?!" I placed a to go order cashew chicken, general tso chicken, vegetable fried rice, crab rangoon. The portions were HUGE & better yet outstanding. The food was cooked to order fresh, delicious flavor & very reasonably priced. There was enough food to feed 4, 5 or 6 people. The place had a dining room & I was thoroughly impressed by how clean the entire place was. The pretty lady who waited on me was as kind & gracious as can be, felt like an old friend I hadn't seen in years. I cannot say enough of how happy I was with my overall experience with the Super Wok. Easily some of the best Chinese food I've e er had. Suffice to say I will definitely be paying more visits at lunch/dinner time to this fine restaurant!! read more

Absolute worst experience I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. The food was absolutely disgusting. It was bland, dripping with grease, and had almost no flavor. We ordered the beef with broccoli, orange chicken, and sweet and sour chicken, and every single dish was awful. When we called to complain, the employee claimed she wasn't the manager and said the manager was "on vacation." That's hard to believe because she's the only person I've ever seen working there. She also refused to issue a refund to the card we paid with and claimed they couldn't give a cash refund because they don't keep cash on site. Our order cost about $40. When we returned to the restaurant, instead of refunding our money, she offered us six bottles of Coke and claimed they were worth $40. To make it even worse, she demanded the food back. So they took back the food and still refused to refund our money, leaving us with six bottles of Coke instead of the meal we paid for. The employee was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility or make the situation right. Based on my experience, I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

I moved away from Frankfort 2 years ago and used to go here every now and then. Never had any issues the food was bland but fine. I am currently back visiting family and figured it would be fast and easy to order from here....However this was a big mistake, I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and they gave me orange chicken without sauce. Although I thought it was weird I moved past it which was another mistake. The food tasted so bad I have never tasted anything like it. I kept the food so we could go back to return it, once we arrived to the store the lady said she cannot do refunds because the manager is not present. Which is a lie because she is always the one working and has been for years... instead of returning the money to the card she offered to give us a gift card which we did not want because the food was nasty to begin with so why would we want a gift card... read more

We called to complain about the food and the lady lied and said she's not the manager, the manager is on vacation (which is a lie she's the only one thats ever there) and said they can't give a money refund. Best Chinese food in Southern Illinois. Dishes are always freshly made to order, service is prompt and friendly.

I'm constantly surprised at Southern Illinois's variety and quality of cuisine. Super Wok sounds like the name of a Chinese joint in a mall but performs well and above most Asian food I've ever had. We started with a classic and trashy crab rangoon, which was excellent. We also tried the sweet and spicy cabbage. Little did I know that this is a regional specialty and absolutely delicious. I recommend the cabbage dish. For mains, we got the general tso and mongolian beef (classic). The chicken was bomb and pleasantly saucy. The beef was tossed in what tasted like a gravy and relatively dry. Overall, I will be back for the cabbage alone but will continue to sample the menu. Recommend! read more

My wife and I stopped here for Lunch after Church and the employees although was hard to understand ( but I speak Chinese) we're very friendly and checked on us often. The food here was amazing as we usually go to the Chinese buffet in town. We will be going here after church on Sundays from now on until I try everything on the menu lol. (Not kidding) it's that good. I would highly recommend this place. They are doing it right here for a newly established restaurant. I honestly can't wait til next Sunday. My wife and I stopped st Super Wok while traveling thru the area. Couldn't have asked for a better Chinese dinner. We started out with the salt and pepper shrimp, It was so good I could eat it every day. I ordered the General Tso chicken. It was excellent and they give you so much. Comes with white or fried rice, the fried rice was really good. My wife had the Honey Walnut chicken. She said it was the best she ever had. Upon my visit to Super Wok on S Logan in West Frankfort, I was not sure what to think of the place as the outside is plain. However, when it came to the food, it was very impressive and delicious. We were greeted with a friendly smile and told to take a seat. Upon taking my seat, we were asked what would like to drink while given a chance to look over the menu. I would recommend the Orange Chicken (it does contain some spice). Overall the environment inside is very nice. The furniture is all intact, there are some floral pictures on the wall to complement the light blue walls. I will definitely be back and would highly advise you give it a try as you wont be disappointed! P.S If you are one for takeout, they have a drive-thru! read more
