I walked in and there were no other customers. The place was completely empty except for two employees: one behind the front desk, speaking on the phone, and the other doing... not much of anything. Neither greeted me verbally. The person who wasn't doing much just smiled. After the person behind the desk hung up the phone, the two of them proceeded to talk about the call, complaining about that customer's questions. I would give this negative stars if I could. I specifically told the stylist to keep the cut below my ears and I wanted layers. It's above my ears, and uneven, it's butchered. A toddler could have done a better job. I wasn't asked if I liked it or if it was the cut I wanted. She asked if it felt "lighter". Well yeah you cut off all my hair. my husband got a short military style cut and I think he was left with more hair. I've never cried over a hair cut but this is butchered. We've been going for years. Usually even if it's not a great cut I can at least live with it. It's hair it will grow back. But this is beyond bad. This is horrific, I'm shopping for wigs it's so bad. I'm traumatized by this experience. They should not even call themselves a salon. If my husband hadn't paid for both cuts before my cut was finished I wouldn't have paid for this. read more

Terrible. I wish I could leave no stars. I went this past Tuesday for a hair cut. There was no one in sight when I entered the "salon." After a few minutes a stylist came from the back to check me in. She STRUGGLED to spell my name to check my in. I kept telling her C Y N.....and she kept repeating C H N....ect. I ended up writing my name down on a post it note for her to just copy off of. This should have been my 1st sign. She went in the back to see if another stylist wanted my appointment. I guess she didn't actually want to work, but neither did any of them. I asked for a shoulder length cut with layers. I ended up with a super choppy uneven cut that even my elementary students comment on how bad it was. There are 2 layers. A short one all the way around and then the uneven bottom of my hair. The back was choppy. I was SO EMBARRASSED when I finally noticed how bad it was. It looked fine in at super cuts while my hair was still wet, but once it was dry it was TERRIBLE. I live over an hour away. I was offered to have them take a look to "see of they could fix it." But I turned that offer down. Why would I let them butcher my hair more? I went to a different salon and had that mess fixed. Avoid this location! read more

Even when there was no one in the shop waiting for a haircut, I was told I'd have to wait over 2 hours for service. I am disabled and even sitting for any length of time is difficult. I found the employees rude and thoughtless. I don't recommend this salon in the Walmart parking lot. read more

I went first thing in the morning on a Sunday; the girls looked great and acted very professional; Sam cut my hair. I love my hair. It looks beautiful, and the stylist is very friendly. They listen to you and give you a great experience when you are in their chair; I have been going to supercuts for a few years, and I feel that all the stylists continue to improve with time. read more

It is advertised that this location opens at 9am and the only day it is closed is Wednesday. It is Thursday 10:15 AM and they are still closed. No signs or a note explaining why they're not open. This is too common that the store is closed during advertised business hours. This is the second time in a row that I came down here during business hours and it is closed.. read more

So disappointed. The stylist mauled the back of my childs neck. She didnt say a word to me about it. I noticed it after i paid, as we were walking out. I asked what happened, she suggested that maybe he moved in the chair, and then said something must be wrong with her clippers. Never apologized. read more

I've frequented SuperCuts and similar operations to that in Bennington but never had the experience that I had this past week. I was greeted by a stylist who was free and sat right down in her chair as, what it later seemed, a sorta willing victim. After explaining how I wanted my hair cut and to turn out, she went to work on me like a professional sheep shearer, which is what I looked like when I was none. At 76 my hair is thin and sparse especially in the middle and there's not much to cut. Well after a few short minutes I felt like that poor sheep, shorn on the sides and bald on the top. I think I'll stick to the SuperCuts in Keane, NH going forward. read more

I went to get a haircut with my boyfriend on 5/1/22 around noon. The person that was cutting my boyfriend's hair was very racist. She started asking him who was I, and when he said that I am from the Bronx, she did not take as good enough for an answer, she wanted to know my exact ethnicity, after that she started talking negatively against immigrants, etc. Then she was upset because her dad is dating a black woman, and she told my boyfriend that she does not agree that her father is dating a black woman, She also mentioned that she has a boyfriend that is German but that's different if he is an immigrant because he is white. It seemed that seeing my boyfriend and I in an interracial relationship triggered her racism. They really need to do diversity training. I can't believe that in this day and age people are still racist. read more

Went there in the middle of the day. I was a first time walk in because my hair stylist retired. I was greeted well and was told there was a half hour wait, which was fine because I needed to do a bit of shopping , returned in a half hour and was met by a pleasant young woman who got me seated. I explained that I didn't want the hair too short, and tried to be friendly and humorous. She proceeded to scalp me. I have never had such a short haircut. The first thing she did was use her thinning shears , and at 70 my hair is thin enough. Never again will I go to Super Cuts Bennington. read more

I went toward the end of the day. I told the woman that I wanted a wash and a hair cut.. she brings me to her chair and starts to put the cape around me. I said "wait, I wanted a wash to". With a heavy sigh she asked me to follow her. She washed my hair with scalding water. She reached in a drawer for a towel, literally threw it on my head, covering my face completely, slammed the drawer and left me that way to go get a comb. At this point, I was seething. I took the towel off my face thinking that was the rudest thing I have ever experienced. I should have walked out but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Rude and unprofessional. Not one of the stylists know a thing about customer service or courtesy. They complain about being there and deliberately tell customers that the wait will be longer than what it actually is to avoid doing their job. Seems counterintuitive to chase away customers. Management needs to clean house and hire new stylists who actually want to work. Place has gone down hill this past year. read more

The wait was almost an hour even though we had an appointment. The haircut wasn't great and my hairdresser didn't show me what the back looked like. They gave priority to give little kids who came way after warm towels and there were only 2 people working with six people waiting. read more

I cannot believe the haircut I got. First, the hairdresser never even greeted me. Second, she told me I was the last hair cut of the day, and she couldn't wait to leave. That was all fine, but I got the most chopped up hair cut ever. I got home, and my friends and family could not believe how bad the haircut was. At the end I had to tell her to shave my sideburns and the back of my neck which is normally obvious. You could tell she didn't want to be there. I would add a photo of my hair, but it's so bad I'm embarrassed for anybody to see it. read more
