    I recently visited this Supercuts location and was incredibly disappointed, not only with the hair cuts, but how the management handled the situation. My Mother, Sister, and I went in for haircuts for a weekend event. My Mom presented a photo of what she wanted, and she got that haircut, but shorter than she asked for. My Sister and I both had a different stylist, who apparently was focused more on speed than quality. My sister had long hair and wanted it cut to shoulder length. It looked fine at first, but when it dried at home it was extremely uneven, with random hairs sticking out. It was almost as if she just bunched her hair up and cut it in one snip. Mine looked ok at first as well, until I got photos back from the weekend event. The back of my head was all patchy, with banding lines going across the back of my head. There was even a section where a tuft of hair was completely missed so I have a patch of 4 inch long hair when the rest of my cut was much shorter. Honestly, it's the worst haircut I've ever had. I contacted the Store and talked to Norma, the manager. No responsibility was taken, she was defensive about cutting the hair exactly as was asked (it wasn't). I wanted a refund, she got off the phone with me, called her regional supervisor, Lisa, and called me back and said she could not authorize a refund but she was authorized to give us 3 free haircut vouchers. She called me later that day to let me know that the voucherS (plural) were there, and that she was putting THEM in an envelope for me. I arrived to pick them up. There was 1 in the envelope and she said she was only authorized for 1, not 3. I said she told me there was 3 of them and she answered "that was before I talked to my supervisor". (Funny, she told me she called the supervisor and that Lisa authorized the 3). So now the story changed so either the previous conversation was a lie or between the time we talked and I picked them up, they were given to someone else. Oh, she also told me the banding in the back of my head was just "my neck wrinkles". Never in my life have I had those lines before...so if it's from my neck wrinkles than that means the stylist did not straighten my head out and cut it evenly. Judging by the patchy job...I'm not surprised. Extremely unhappy about wasting a trip, I got home and discovered that the one voucher...had expired 2 years ago. I called back and was told "oh no, that's what was sent me to". She had Lisa, the regional manager call me and leave me a message. I called back and she was not available to talk that she was in the car (her voicemail said she'd be at the office until 6pm and I called at 5:20.). She said she'd call back shortly. Never did. I called the next day, the phone ring was cut short and I was sent to voicemail. I left a message. Never got a return call. So unless you like poor haircuts, refusal of responsibility, being lied to about vouchers and then having the voucher expired, and the managers dodging your calls...I'd skip this store and go to Hair Cuttery instead. Cheaper and better haircuts.

    I love Supercuts! I never have to wait more than 5-8 minutes and they are always really nice! Isabel is the best!! She has magical hands

When first styling my hair, Yukari took a brush to my wet hair to get the knots out and it caused large balls of my hair to rip out. You're not supposed to brush wet hair because it causes ripping and she ripped a lot. If anything, you're supposed to comb it. I showed her the large balls of hair on the floor (I wish I had taken a picture- there was A LOT) and she got so defensive. For the rest of the session, she was so nasty and rude. She said that the large balls of hair was from the fact that I didn't brush my hair that morning and it was shedding. She said the balls of hair was also because my hair is damaged. If my hair is damaged- which I have some highlights- then be gentle with it. After that, every time she went to brush my wet hair she said she was scarred and was just frankly a b**** at every point she could be. She made me sign a waiver, took pictures of my dandruff scalp to show me, and kept commenting on how damaged my hair was again and again. The way she did this didn't feel like someone being helpful and doing their job, it felt undercutting. I'm definitely not going back to this salon. Yukari kept her attitude the entire time we had left which was basically four hours. At one point she wanted to pull out of the whole operation and said this while the chemicals were already in my hair. It was such a power play. She didn't overall do a bad job with my hair but her attitude was incredibly unpleasant. She obviously was wrong but couldn't handle someone having an issue with her. I do not recommend going to her because she literally ruined my day and her character affected me long enough to need to write a review. I never write reviews but she was so nasty it got under my skin. I do not recommend seeing this woman because she's demeaning and on a high horse.

I had the kind of curls that people would stop me on the street, down below my bra line... after this blowout, I had to cut six inches off my hair ... and I STILL have straight pieces (pictures below.) I made an appointment for 4:10pm, Saturday 10/18/25 (I wanted 4:30, but Arielle said that was too late.) so I showed up at 4pm, and waited until 4:35! For my blowout with Glaucia (I didn't complain ... not about waiting, or EVEN WHEN SHE BURNED MY SCALP WITH THE BLOWDRYER.) Blowout looked pretty good, I left it in for a week, until Saturday 10/25/25. Went to yoga, where I kept smelling sulfur (turned out it was MY HAIR...) So I went home and washed it. AND NO CURLS. I FREAKED OUT!!! 40 years of occasional blowouts... NEVER BEFORE!! Have my curls not come back immediately after washing!) So, I think... maybe I just need to wash it again on Sunday (the next day...) a little more curls in the middle and six inches of straight'tails.' And all straight around my face. On Monday I was freaking out... I just moved here and had a job interview... thank GOD, I found Khaliman Salon (the curl whisperer.) he came in on his DAY OFFF!! He said it was severe heat damage; cut the 6 inches off And told me I'd need to cut more (which is true.) From there, I went to my interview and then to Blowout To Paris. The other young lady who was there the day I got my blowout gasped when she saw me... 'what happened to your long hair?' I said: you guys burnt it and I had to cut it. 'Let me give you a treatment! She says... 'Please! Deep condition...?' ME: 'No, I said... I really don't want you guys to touch my hair again; I want to speak to the owner.' Got Arielle on the phone, (the manager? Turns out she and her husband Ron actually OWN the salon.) I told her the whole story/ situation... said' your stylist ruined my hair; all I want is a refund.' 'You're trying to shake me down!' She says... 'Why didn't you come here first?' (Because I had an interview and was on a time budget and didn't want my hair ruined further, maybe?) In the meantime, her husband Ron (who's listed as the owner in Florida records) swears he isn't... yall, crazy town...is there the THIRD time I stop in. He tells me a story... that my hair couldn't be heat damaged... he'd even TRIED that with a client he didn't like in Israel!! 'And it didn't work .' (I will tell this story under oath!) Lordddd... crazy town indeed. FINALLY, they agree to give me a refund, 3 weeks later after multiple visits and phone calls: by now, I'm angry. I said 'what about the $150 haircut I had to get?' I admit to using salty language.. and 6 weeks later, NOTHING. If Arielle IS indeed the owner, she's never there. Their employees don't know what they're doing. Run like the wind. Bottom line: 1) Hair (and scalp) burnt to a crisp. 2) had to cut 6 inches off my hair for $150. 3) no apology, no refund... treated like a lowlife when I asked for my money back. 4) Ron flat out lied to me about owning the salon (repeatedly.) Arielle' works from home' and is never there. 5)... AGAIN, no even ATTEMPTS to rectify the situation. I have NEVER written a review like this in my life. I was raised 'don't say anything if you have nothing good to say.' But these people need to not be in business. Avoid at all costs... curly girls, go see Khaliman in Boca for everything curly, including blowouts!!
