Got an appointment here very quickly for my first professional haircut in over a year. The cut was quick and competent. At $21 (plus tip) it was more expensive than what I usually pay in NYC, which is kind of weird to me. Anyway, if you need a quick, reasonable haircut, this will fit the bill. I have been patronizing this store since it opened several years ago. I made an appointment and went to this location over the weekend. There is a sign on the front door stating that there is a City mask requirement. This is false - the requirement ended (15) days prior. There is another sign on the check-in desk that repeats this message. When I checked in the associate told me I had to wear a mask. I thought she was confused or misinformed. I pointed to the sign and said the city requirement was removed more than (2) weeks ago. She stated that she knew that, but the Owner was requiring masks. I asked why the signs didn't state that the store required masks and the associate said the owner was "waiting for new signs." The "signs" are plain copy paper and printed on a desktop printer. I said I didn't have a mask but I would wear one if they could provide one. They said that they had no masks, but I could go next door to Whole Foods and get a mask. I would not go to another business and ask them for a mask so I could take the mask to another business. The store manager said that they are "asking" people to wear masks. I said I understood that this was what they were "asking," but since I didn't have a mask, and they couldn't provide one, and their signage was false and misleading - could I just get my hair cut? She said no. So they are not "asking" customers to wear masks, they are "requiring" them to do so. If a business wants to make their own rule re masking that is their call, but they should not pretend that it's someone else's decision. The false and misleading signs are IMO intended to make customers believe there is a city requirement for masking and the store itself has no discretion. In this way, they get compliance without any complaints. I asked for the owner's contact information so I could make a complaint and was told they could not give that out, but they would give her my contact info and she would call me. It has been (3) days now and no call from the owner. I also asked for contact info for Supercuts corporate offices and the store manager told me there is no parent corporation, just the owner. This is also false. Supercuts is owned by Regis, and the stores are franchises. I have been to this store throughout the pandemic and I have complied with all masking rules every time. I was willing to comply with their current masking rules, despite their deceptive signs, if they would just give me a 25-cent mask. Lose a $20 haircut for a 25-cent mask? So in addition to deceptive signs, playing semantics with "asking" vs. "requiring," making up stories about "waiting for new signs" that are made with a home printer, and then lying about no parent corporation, I was still willing to give them my money (and they would keep a long-term customer) if they would just give me a mask. And I would still patronize this business if the owner had just taken a couple of minutes to call me and hear my concerns. read more

I've been to this horrid place about 5-6 times. Made my appointments on line through the app. I am never able to get the same person, but it doesn't matter because each person I get screws my hair up (I keep trying to give them a chance). It's like they literally just learned to cut hair the day before. My last appointment i set upon line, when i got there they told me they didn't have my appointment registered, even though I had it on my phone (through the app). I showed it to them and they told me they had other customers to worry about. Horrible service. No help at all. Stay away from this place. I work nearby and will be telling anyone and everybody to avoid this establishment like the plague read more

I had a couple of decent haircuts here but it seemed that the the 2 people there on my second visit were different from the 2 people there on my first visit. The woman cutting my hair said they keep changing their schedules which is why the staff looks different. Caveat Emptor. read more

Pleasant time at SuperCuts. The young lady that cut my hair was very nice and friendly, but... don't let that fool you. I'm pretty sure she used a 2x4 to outline the fade I requested on my sides. Moving on to the top part of my hair it looks like she used a pair of craft scissors or was under the influence of some narcotic. If you like your hair to look like you built up enough confidence to cut your own hair then go to this place. Thx for wasting $16.50 read more

Went to this Supercuts at 4pm on a Saturday trying to get a convenient haircut because my wife was going to Whole Foods and we're going on vacation next week. One barber and about 10 empty seats. No haircuts available before close at 6pm. For a convenient haircut just go to the mall, this place can't accommodate convenience and really if you aren't looking for a convenient haircut why would you be going to Supercuts? For most people in this area the Danbury fair mall is a better choice and that's where I will be going to tonight. read more

I went in there today for a trim. And they did nothing that I could not have done to myself at home. I wanted a little shape and for her to cut it till it was healthy. But all she did was take a pair of scissors straight across my hair. That is not what I wanted and now my hair is way shorter than I wanted, no shape at all. I could have done this myself without paying any money. Waste of time and money. You're better off going to the one in Ridgefield where they actually try to help you look nice. read more

Last time I went here I asked for a 4 on my son and they buzzed his head. I try to give this place another chance and walk in at 330 and told they're booked for the day and closing in 30 mins. It's always short staffed in there and you guys should take down your walk in sign since that's not an option. read more
