I had an appointment for 10 am, I arrived a few minutes uses early the stylist I was seeing erika was cutting someone's hair . When she was done someone else stood up and got in her chair. I did call ahead of time drove 50 minutes to get there and she acknowledged me when I walked through the door. I got up and left. I did call after leaving and voiced my opinion. Never going back, they wrecked my hair. I wanted a trim and layers, the lady doing my hair (Amy) showed me how much she would be cutting for the trim and then cut way more. She showed me 1/2 inch and then cut over an 1 and a half. For the layers, I had shown her three pictures of my desired looks, and then told her I wanted many layers variying in length. She then cut almost no layers, the shortest layer being less than an inch from the others. In the back it looks like I don't have any layers, and as it dries from previously being wet, the less noticable the layers get. While cutting my hair she talked a little, mostly about my front bangs that im growing out. The bangs are a little past my nose, and were not a part of the haircut. She repeatedly asked me questions about them, and she said I was a "poor thing" for having to deal with them (which I took offense to). At check out, the haircut had been paid for before it was finished. She was talking to her co-worker about how her client had already paid, and when the situation was explained she completely ignored me and continued to talk to her co-worker. Overall, the haircut and her attitude were atrocious. I now have to cut my hair at home in order to fix the mess she made. read more

Went in for a trim to cut off broken ends. Came out with uneven bangs, and an awful choppy layers cut. The girl, not natural blonde, short, curvier. I wanted to just trim by bangs a little and said "please even them out". She cut my bangs round and so short that they land in the middle of my forehead. I asked her to blow dry them straight. She tried 5 times and curled them upwards every time. I asked her to stay with previous cut and then she cut my hair straight. Then asked me how short the layers should be. I told her the way they were before. Girl, freaking cut off half my length and now my hair has such choppy layers. Literally half of my hair ends underneath my chin the rest is landing on my boobs. It's really a tossup as to what kind of cut you will get. I had a stylist a couple months ago, very young and just out of school, who took her time and did a fantastic job. I went back this week, just looking to get a trim, and the stylist I got cut my hair in about 7 minutes and butchered it--way too short with layers that I didn't want (and didn't have before). Cringing every time I look in the mirror, and I will have to wait a good two months before it's long enough to try to fix it. Wish I had gotten the name of the first stylist so I could go back to her (and the second one so I can avoid her). read more

Supercuts at Hadley is phenomenal. I've had five separate stylists at this location, and all five have been awesome. My favorite, by far, is Chrissy, who most recently cut my hair. She listened to my requests, heard me bemoan my five+ cowlicks and other styling issues I'd had, and suggested an awesome fix. I agreed, and she was extremely courteous, low-key (not much chatter, mostly concentration) and professional. I wound up with a cut that was better than I've had at salons in downtown Northampton for $40+ (I paid $17 [men's haircut, no shampoo], plus tip). Even better? Each cut at Supercuts ends with a lovely tea tree-infused towel that the stylist uses on your neck to remove excess hair. If you're looking for a professional salon that is half the cost of most typical salons, look no further. They're worth the cost. read more

Can't blame the staff cause they were clearly overwhelmed, but there was only one actual person there, the entire time I was there she was advising another woman what do next for the clearly developmentally delayed man in the next chair. She was completely distracted, I specifically asked for a scissors cut, but when another customer came in she whipped out the razor and butchered the back of my head. Awful job. read more

Holy crap. The worst cut I have ever had. I asked for a skin fade from the stylist who said no problem. She spent 8 minutes using clippers and was done. There was no fade there was different lengths of hair all thru out my hair and then there was no hot towel to wipe away the hair on my face. I left very unhappy and with hair all over my face and clothes . I went straight to my regular barber and had him fix the disaster supercuts called fade. Never again . I was hesitant initially to visit Supercuts because of bad mouth publicity from my friends. But I decided to brave it and have my own experience. I am so glad that I did visit Kristi at this Salon on Russell St. She is very good at her job. I saw her cutting hair of previous customer and was thinking of requesting her to cut mine. And luckily she was the one who called my name next. She constantly kept seeking our view on the progress during haircut and suggested multiple options. I liked the hair cut she did and so far it would be the best haircut in US for me in 3 years. I will recommend Kristi especially at this Salon. You are the best. read more

I wanted to get bangs-nothing fancy, a straight across cut. They came out AWFUL. First, the stylist only cut a few in the direct middle of my forehead. It was bizarre, like I had asked for a few wisps. Then, when I asked for a thicker fringe, she added a few more in the middle (more wisps). Worse, these bangs weren't cut straight across in a line (like a normal haircut). Instead, she cut a weird uneven V in my front hairline to add the bangs. At one point the stylist even said she hadn't cut bangs before. WHY are you allowed to do that for paying clients without experience? I tried to fix it and couldn't, and had to go to another salon to even the trip in the front. They didn't fix the weird V either (I went to the Amherst Supercuts and that was equally a big mistake...a review for their page). So my $17 dollar hair cut cost me $40 with a second cut and ill-earned tips. I can hide it with an offside part, but I'm looking at possibly a year of awkward hair grow out until it's all back to even. I'm never going to any Supercuts again. read more

I just had my hair done last night there. They were every professional and sweet catering to whatever I wanted...she took her time to make sure it was exactly how I wanted....although it dye did come out a little lighter than I hoped for I don't it was her fault. I've never had my hair dyed before and I wasn't sure how it would take to the dye...the price was a little higher than I expected but I was fine with that. Got my hair colored and cut at this location on Jan 8th, 2015, I was then sent off into the freezing single degree weather (less than that with the wind chill) with barely towel dry hair. The girl never offered to dry my hair and was focused on pushing me out the door so they could get the store closed even though they had another half hour remaining. Posted on the Supercuts Fb twice, and , and I was promised that someone from that store's management would contact me. I have patiently waited and no one has ever contacted me, despite being promised I would get a call. Clearly Supercuts is not concerned about the health or concerns of their customers. read more

I've been here three times, once for a hair cut and twice for a lip wax. The girls were very polite and courteous and did an excellent job. The cut came out great and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I will definitely be coming back! read more
