I came in asking for a simple buzzcut on the sides, while asking to keep some length on top. I showed her a picture of what I really wanted, but she didn't really look at the picture. She kind of rushed through the entire haircut( not even gentle about it tbh) while simultaneously buzzing off all my hair, which is not what I intended . I have no idea why the reviews for this place are so low (maybe because of how old they are...?), because it is AMAZING! I've been here two times, once in July 2023, and once again today to get a trim on my hair. Business is slow here during weekdays, so if you're an introvert like me you'll love how there's nobody in there... It is clean, and the staff are very nice. I don't remember the name of the first woman back in July, but she literally gave me an entire box of cereal... but today, Zaira (I think I spelt it right) was so sweet and did an amazing job! I'm new to Kemah area. Needed a haircut, and searched for a place. Two "higher end" salons were full for the day, then I saw Supercuts and thought what the hell, let me try. I was desperate for TODAY. Came in, and some rude girl at front desk didn't even look up, just told me to sign in. I said no, I need to know first who she has available, and then need to talk to that stylist to see if she can do what I want. She looked at me asif I had a third eye. Called a girl to whom I then spoke. Her name is Cindy. I explained exactly what I want and she agreed and said she could do it. Well, for the first time in YEARS I was 100% satisfied! I will return to Cindy next time. But whoever the person with the pink hair is, needs some serious training in customer service. I would at the very least expect a greeting, preferably a friendly one. Cindy did an amazing job with my hair. Thank you!! I won't be going back, because they told me they would not be taking me next time. The first stylist asked how I wanted my hair cut. I said cut 1/2 inch from the bottom of my ear, straight around, a very simple cut. She started by only taking off 1/2 inch from the bottom. It was clear to me she didn't understand me and I asked the other stylist to take over and cut my hair. She did, then told me they would not be taking me next time. read more

What, and I cannot stress this next part strongly enough, the hell? Ive been there 4 times in the past 4 months and only once have I gotten the haircut I've asked for. Nobody listens! And it's not like I'm asking for some intricate design or something. All I've asked was don't take any off the top. At some point I suppose I must be speaking in a different language because this concept is too much for them to understand. One was so damn bad I had to call and ask if they would fix it for free because the lady butchered mine and my son's cut. Luckily we're leaving for vacation early in the morning so maybe I'll be close to a barber shop where we're staying. I had been going there for the past 2 1/2 yrs but this evening was the final straw. Not only did she do what I asked her not to do(told her what I didn't want, told her why and showed her what would happen but I'm not a well trained stylist so I know nothing it seems) but afterwards I'm brushing hair off my face all the way home. Wanted to leave a review to even out some of the harsh ones on here. This store doesn't deserve as low of a rating as it has. I came in about 30 minutes after they opened while one person was working. Someone was already getting a haircut and it was only about a 10 minute wait. The lady that cut my hair was nice and considerate and did well on my simple trim. I was in and out in about 30 mins with the wait. Horrible horrible service!! One star is too much for this business and the horrible service my son and I received 5/30 at 7:55pm. We walked in 5min before they closed, (I didn't know their hours, until I got there, never been there before) yes! I know it wasn't good walking in the last minute but still went in and in a nice way asked the men in the front desk (who didn't greet us) if they could do one more hair cut for my son because I saw they were closing in 5min, well, very unpleasantly the slob said, "well it's up to her" (the hairstylist was right there and she heart perfectly the conversation but didn't say anything) I said okay, then they did nothing like for 30 seconds so I told him, are you gonna ask her? He turned his big existence around and asked her and she clearly didn't want to, because her face looked like if she was eating a lemon, she babbled something in between the lines like it was late, so I interrupted her and told them "okay thaaanks" and left. They were both so rude and unprofessional! we definitely were very unwelcomed and they made sure to let us know! Here is the thing if they didn't want to see more people they should have locked their doors before closing time but I'm sure they are in the obligation to do the haircuts as long as people get there before 8pm! In the end we went across the street to Great Clips and my son got the best haircut ever with a lady named Chanel, he loved her because she was so friendly and she knew a lot about sports, which he was amazed and happy, he even said "mom, that lady was awesome!!" read more

Not all employees cut bad but most do. The worst is the lady at the far left end of the store right next to where they wash hair. She will not cut your hair like you ask her to. She just does what she wants and when you tell her that is not what you asked for she yanks the apron off and tells you she is done and leaves with how you are. read more

We went to get my daughters haircut when the salon first opened. The lady that cut her hair was very nice but was new to cutting hair. The guy at the front desk was just rude and the lady that seemed to run things was awful. My daughter was scared and so I turned on Mickey Mouse clubhouse. The lady stepped in front of me and started telling my daughter that if she didn't calm down that Mickey Mouse wouldn't love her. Uhm, what! I took over and told her not to tell my daughter that. Crappiest haircut I have EVER received. I went in about 20 minutes before they closed and they were more than happy to help me. Once I was sat, I explained I wanted just my split ends trimmed, maybe an inch or so. As my hair was being cut, I told her I just wanted a little trim, but to keep the ombré that I had in my hair. After the cut was done, my hair was 4 inches shorter than when I walked in, and absolutely no blonde left. Safe to say I will never come back, nor recommend someone to come get their hair cut. read more

I literally just left this place because of awful service without even getting a haircut. I came in around lunch and only one person was working. She was cutting an older gentleman's hair at the time. I sat down and waited for about 5 minutes before she even acknowledged I was there because she was too busy flirting with the guy whose hair she was cutting. Keep in mind I was only about 10 feet away and I was the only other person in there! I assumed they were nearly finished since he had pretty short hair to begin with and it wasn't exactly a complicated hair style. However, she seemed to be taking her time. Then, to top it off, his phone rings and he proceeds to answer it on speaker phone for the whole shop to hear. He has about a 5 minutes conversation talking to his friend about going sailing and whatever else they feel like talking about. During this time the stylist isn't doing anything. I finally had enough and walked out. This has been my "go to" place since they opened recently because it is literally 3 minutes from my house. However, I won't be going back. read more
