Two stars- getting in a chair is easy, rarely a wait. Hard to believe but the Supercuts stores in this area have been telling customers they "can't take credit." Each time I've been here the employees complain openly about management...... Both locations are about the same (over in Granville).... Left feeling gross.... won't be back. read more

Ok so I went in for a bob and came out with an uneven cut and had the worst customer service EVER! The stylist told me I had a mullet because I had some breakage from a previous color treatment aNd yes there was breakage but I didn't have a mullet by any means. I told her I was nervous to cut it so short and if I wanted it shorter after she cut it then I would tell her so we could do it gradually but she told me that "takes to much of my time and makes me lose money" if she had to cut it a little shorter which I don't know how it was because she was in a hurry to leave and there wasn't anyone waiting for any service so I was confused by that. She put the comb through my hair and ripped on my earring 3 freaking times which hurt but I let it go and then I found myself apologizing because I felt like I was bothering her with my cut because she seemed so freaking unhappy with her job. Then I go to leave and pay and the phone rings and she has another stylist pick it up and says "if it's for me say I'm not here cause I shouldn't even be here now" and it was for her so the other stylist is lying to the customer on the phone. If was so uncomfortable and my hair is to darn short and there are long pieces sticking out from underneath everywhere. I will NEVER go back to this place again!! Though I still tipped her because I'm going to do what is right she was so rude and unpleasant that I surprised she ever gets tips. read more

Worst customer service ever! When I walked in, there were no other customers. Now I know why! The hair dresser was very rude to me. She totally rushed me. My haircut was complete in 2-3 minutes. During the haircut she kept complaining to her colleagues that she feels bloated and doesn't feel well. She didn't even use the trimmer properly on my neck. Leaving long hair on it. Reasoning that she is not a barber and she doesn't use a razor. I clean my neck at home all the time using size 0 on the trimmer and it works very well. The most unwelcoming place ever! I went in and got highlights and color done by my stylist Marie who claimed that she was the manager however a manager does not speak and perform the way that she does. I'm highly upset because my color did not turn out the way that I wanted it I have hues of red when I asked for brown and then on top of that she asked me to go get cash for a payment when everybody else in the salon was paying with credit card. After giving her cash she did not even give me a receipt which leads me to believe that she kept the payment. I am highly irritated and upset and I am thinking about not even letting her fix my hair because I'm scared that it will fall out. read more

I had a pretty normal experience. I've had cuts at a Supercuts in 4 different states now (over past 4 years) and I think this experience was pretty much on par on what I've come to expect. I was nervous looking at the average star rating but I think I still have most of my hair intact. read more

Let's start out by saying when I went in to got my hair cut it had been a couple of years since it had been cut so I was a bit apprehensive because of it's length. My hair cutter Amanda took it in stride and I came out with a whole new look that's easy for me to take care of. Kylie Travinski lied about appointments 6 ahead of me. made my appointment at 6:30 pm and waited 10 min with one other person ahead of me, Then when it was my turn, she ran in the back with another hairdresser that came out to tell me she was sick... Bullshit !!!! I will never go back to a place like that that is totally dishonest with customers. In LA they would have fired her and got someone else. I will never return to this Supercuts location. I received the worst haircut of my life. The hairdresser did not know how to cut curly hair. She cut it completely dry. Normally hairdressers will part the hair in the middle of the head if someone parts their hair to the side, but she did not do this- she cut my hair how I originally had it parted which made my hair completely uneven when finished. I now have to find another hairdresser who can fix the damage she had done to my hair. In addition to a bad haircut, she charged the woman before me less for the same haircut I had gotten because she knew the woman. I was very upset with my experience and would not suggest the location to anyone. read more

I used to get great haircuts here, but lately it seems like something has gone wrong. 2 bad experiences in a row - I'll be avoiding this place for a while. Got my hair cut today and had my hair across the front scalped (seriously), the right side of my hair looks normal, while the left side appears uncut, and the neck line was rounded off and taken in way further than my hairline goes. Time before this, the girl that cut my hair appeared way more interested in her discussion with other employees than she was in cutting my hair. I'm a guy, and I get a simple cut that takes 5 minutes. I was in the chair for 15 minutes, because she kept walking away to have a hilarious conversation about the owner of the franchise. I learned too much about the owner that day, and it should have been a sign then to avoid this place for the future. Hopefully they can turn it around. read more

I tried to post the photo of the ENORMOUS hole (bald spot) that the woman with the scissors cut in my mother's hair. When I jumped, alarmed, and said she was cutting it too short! (which was being kind), she had the nerve to snap at me that she was "blending" it, and "did I want it to look like a mohawk?". I have no idea where that came from. Suffice it to say, at least I stopped the massacre there by simply stopping the 'haircut'. I think they just hand out scissors to anyone willing to try. Do it yourself. You can't do worse. read more

Worse bob haircut ever! I wanted to keep the length on the sides and the back was basically scalped. I'm hoping my regular stylist can make some sort of correction. Will never go here again. If you are a stylist of 7 years and can't take direction from the client and during the cut you ask another stylist to help you with the cut; you need another profession. The guy who cut my hair was very pleasant to talk to. However, I wanted no length cut off my hair (just wanted a trim) and somehow that translated to three inches off. It was so choppy and looked terrible. Went to another place to fix it, and my hair was so noticeably uneven that we measured the right side being TWO INCHES longer than my left side. So in order to correct this haircut and make it even, another two inches had to be cut off. Like I said, the staff was pleasant, but I would not get my haircut here again. read more

The stylists working this AM at the Suncrest Town Center were rude and short. I inquired about having my daughters hair French braided for photos. Only to be told that neither of the stylist working knew how to french braid. Then after asking if either of her would be able to do some type of basic up do you as told neither knew how to do that either. I was not asking for prom perfect hair. They were short and seemed annoyed that I had inquired about having either of the previously mentioned things done. One said she could "try" but I had to wait "awhile" when there was no other customers waiting up front. I understand this not a high class salon, but attitude goes along way. read more

Went to Supercuts to get a haircut at 11:30 this morning. The place was empty. Walked up to ask for a haircut and the lady asked me if I had registered online. I said no, and she said they were completely booked until three this afternoon, and I'd have to come back. There were two ladies working at the time, and neither one had a customer. I ask if they were currently busy, and she said that their customers were "on the way" I left, and went to the Supercuts website to reserve an appointment time. The site said that the next appointment time available was 11:45. I registered and signed in. Went back inside and the lady said "well, aren't you special. You need to sign in. This employee wasn't wearing a mask, either. I ask what happened to the other customers who were supposedly on their way and she ignored the question and told me to sign in. I ask her again what happened to the people she said were on the way, and she said "sign in if you want a haircut." I said no thanks and walked out. No one in the store was wearing a mask. They said they were booked most of the day when they weren't. They had a horrible attitude. Will never go back read more

The haircut is okay, but they lied about the price and neglected to tell me that they charge $1 per minute they're straightening your hair. I was told the cut would be $15 and the price for styling is $5, but my bill was $40. When i asked why it was $25 to simply straighten my hair, Shae/Shay (stylist) got an attitude with me. Not only that, but Shae/Shay made prejudice comments about a Middle Eastern customer while she was doing my hair. Also, I asked if she would not use heat products on my hair, but she told me that if she cut it curly it would be crooked. That just sounds like an unskilled stylist to me. I've had my hair cut curly before with no issues. And they always cut it dry because curly hair changes so much depending on whether it's wet or dry, but she apparently had no knowledge of that. My fiancé gets his hair cut here, so I thought it would be an okay experience, but boy was I wrong. The stylists don't even put any effort into their appearance. They're trashy, rude, and untalented and My fiancé and I most certainly will never be going there again, and I wouldn't if i was you either. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

I am not happy with my haircut. I asked for layers (when I have long hair) and she immediately cut up to half of my hair off for one of the layers. I was in shock at first but I kept telling myself that she would fix it. She fixed it somewhat and I thought it wasn't so bad when I left. I am not from around town, and I went here on a whim because I was in desperate need of a haircut and have had positive experiences with other Supercut locations when I was in a pinch in the past. However, this is the worst experience I have ever had when getting my hair cut. Although the woman cutting my hair was nice, the result was terrible. I know that Supercuts offers a variety of price ranges and services and will acknowledge that I realize that hair washing is not included in the standard, cheapest package. However, when I sat down in the chair, I mentioned that my hair was dirty, but the woman did not offer to wash it. She seemed rushed, so I didn't press the issue. I explained to her that I was letting my hair grow long, as I frequently donate my hair, and that I just wanted the ends cleaned up. She showed me how much she would need to cut off, which was probably less than an inch. I also asked for some long layers and some pieces framing my face. When the haircut was over, which lasted literally less than 10 minutes, my hair was 2-3 inches shorter, uneven, and the "layers" were just chunks of hair cut a little shorter than the rest (and were also uneven). There were no pieces framing my face. I felt like I got a haircut that was maybe appropriate on a 5 year old. I had to go to another salon, pay even more to get my hair fixed, and even more length had to be cut off due to the unevenness of the original cut, which was longer in the front than the back.
