I called the day before to schedule my son but they said I need to call in the next morning so that the know the schedule for that day. Called in the morning and got an appointment at 10:30 am for my son. It was very clean and they welcomed me when I stepped foot in the salon. I shared a photo of how I want her to buzz his hair and there were 2 lines on the side of his hair. The lady was unable to do it. But she did an amazing job in duplicating how I wanted his hair to be cut. read more

Very playful and knowledgeable, I've gone to her a few times && I even schedule my other half to get a cut with her. Today I left after haircut looking like the Dutch boy paint can, lazy wahine wouldn't fix the ugly cut. Charged almost $4.00 "cleaning " fee, not told up front, you find out at the cash register, like a spritz of whatever is customers problem. Probably the worst Supercuts we have ever been to! Do yourself a favor and go to another one, really, ANY other one...we booked 2 appointments for our sons. When we got there, one of the appts was for a different time than what we booked. My wife proceeded to show the receptionist her confirmation (the lady was an older, taller woman with reddish/purplish hair), but the woman wasn't interested. She completely disregarded anything that my wife was saying and DEMANDED that my wife go around to see her computer screen. Her demeanor and tone were so uncalled for and inappropriate that we left immediately. To the Manager of this Supercuts: It's a shame that you have someone so ill equipped to deal with customers in your employ. To top it off, she's at the forefront of your establishment; the person customers have their first interaction with. She does not represent you well. We will NEVER patron your establishment again...that woman was so condesending and patronizing. No one should have to deal with that kind of attitude when we're simply trying to get haircuts for our kids. UNBELIEVABLE... read more

Fortunately they were able to accommodate me because the individual that took down my appointment didn't put that I wanted a haircut & color. The stylist was nice enough to reschedule another appointment to accommodate me for a longer time slot. I like my simple bob haircut but I've tried to like my hair color and just can't. I wanted my new hair color at least twice as light as my hair color now, which is dark brown but when she was done my hair it looked JET BLACK. She was so nice and accommodating that I felt I couldn't complain, but I truly hate it. I was hoping I would wake up and with different lighting it may look a little lighter... It just made me more upset seeing how I paid to have my hair colored and it's so dark. It's upsetting that I rarely get my hair colored and now it's so much darker than when I even walked in; as dark as you can get. It looks unnatural. read more

I don't usually review places like this, but I was in desperate need of a neck trim and was having a hard time finding a place that would do it without charging me for a full blown haircut (female problems). The stylist here was a sweetheart sat me down gave me a two second trim and told me to not bother paying. Obviously I couldn't leave her empty handed, but I really appreciated the gesture. I went to Supercuts Wahiawa as a last minute walk-in customer. It was almost closing time and they were really short handed because one stylist had to leave for an emergency. Paula had a client waiting for a cut and the other stylist had 2 clients at the time. Despite the late hour Paula agreed to cut my hair if I didn't mind waiting. I didn't. Two more customers walked in after I did and had to be turned away due to lack of time. Paula did a great job bringing out the layers and curl definition in my hair. I am very happy with the cut. I went there at the recommendation of my mom. Paula was able to fix a bad cut my mom got at another salon. She was also able to cut our neighbor's hair in such a way that her bald spot no longer shows. If you want a stylist who takes her time and doesn't rush to get you out the door, go to Paula. I am pleased with her work and recommend her to women who want a stylist who can bring out those natural waves and curls. If you do then Paula is your go-to girl. My Dad needed a haircut bad!! I mean he looked like a Sasquatch. We walked in without an appointment and Paula was open. Paula cut my father's hair and shaved him. She did a wonderful job, Went beyond my expectations! Even let my Mom and I know what was going on with his skin. We didn't see how dry it was until she let us know! Supercuts continues to be in the same shopping complex but moved next to CPB. This area seems bigger and was brighter and clean. I followed Lory when she started working at Supercuts a few years ago and am always pleased with her work. She knows that my hair naturally doesn't fall even on both sides of my head and I've never had a problem with her cuts. Since the ending of last year, my hair has turned curly, but she's still able to cut it so I can blow dry it into a bob or let it be curly. She has always been polite, personable and quick. If you go to Supercuts, ask for Lory. I was there on 7/8/22 and their prices were going up as of the next day. read more

So disappointed with this location. 1st let me say I realize that getting my hair done is not a necessity, especially during this time of Covid 19. Being an essential worker with one day off a week finding the time to get my hair done is a task in itself. I decided to visit Supercuts in Wahiawa. I've gone there a few times and was always satisfied with their work. I called on Tuesday three times to schedule an appointment but each time the phone just rang. Understandable....They're busy with clients. Wednesday I was able to get through on my second try and asked to schedule an appointments for Thursday to get a cut, color and highlights. The female employee apologized and said that I would have to call back tomorrow to book my appointment. They are only doing same day appointments. Ummmm...ok. So here it is, Thursday morning and I called as soon as they opened. I again asked to schedule an appointment for today for the same services I mentioned earlier. Let's just say I was a little flabbergasted when I was met with what sounded like an amused snort and the response Oh we can't do that! We're short staffed and that's going to take a lot of time! So I asked what can you do? The answer I received...a cut. You can get a cut. I said that's ok and hung up. I understand being busy. But she basically brushed me off. If she had suggested doing color today and perhaps trying to do a same day appointment for a cut next week I would have been ok with that. What's another week, right? But no. We're doing cuts and that's it. Why couldn't I have been told this yesterday when I tried to book this appointment? If I had known that these services aren't being offered I'd have found somewhere else to get my hair done. Take care of your customers. Times are hard...for everyone. I don't think now is the time to turn away business. Take the time to problem solve and come to some type of solution that would benefit you as a business and myself as a consumer. read more

Whoever was working at 6PM, May 31st, very rude! There were two people in the waiting room, two hair dressers, & two people in the chair. Not sure if the people in the waiting room were waiting for someone or waiting for their own cut. My mom and I walked in, BOTH workers were in convo, stopped talking, gave us the most sassy/rude look, one rolled their eyes, looked at each other, then continued talking/whatever they were doing. No "hi, welcome!" or smile. It's like they agreed not to acknowledge us. Not even to say they're full if that's the case. We sat down for a bit before we decided to walk out. Gave the supercuts MILILANI girls 50% tip becaus they were so smiley & friendly & took their time. Very sad, guy with bangs and lady with long wavy hair in Wahiawa. You lost business. Never returning even though we live in Wahiawa! We've been here before, my mom only because there were having a $15 or $19 haircut sale. Me, my last cut wasn't the greatest (asked for a long asymmetric bob and came out with a straight blunt cut in the back that you get when you're 5 years old, all hair in back, straight across). The lady there automatically told me she was not taking anymore customers for the day when they close at 6pm and only had one other customer waiting. I mean cutting a little boys hair should only take just a few minutes so why not just ask to wait since you have to be there until 6 anyways? read more

My stylist was positive and full of good energy but he failed miserably when he badgered the back of my neck with the clippers. He was almost done and wanted to clean the back of my neck which is fine but he used the wrong tool. Came home took a shower and shampooed. Went upstairs to grab something to eat and talked to my sister for a bit. She nearly had a cow when she saw the back of my neck. I looked like someone ran over it with a fine rake. i was worried that it would become infected (I have diabetes type II) so I put some ointment on it to help it heal. It burned even more throughout the night and looked pretty raw still in the morning. Love the haircut and would love to be able to go back and have the same stylist give me another cut (he did a great job) but I will not go back for fear that I may be physically damaged again the next time. The manager was nice enough to give me a full refund but the apology could have been more sincere. She was just lucky I wasn't the type to sue. read more

First of all, let me just say I've only been going to this branch of Super Cuts for about 4 months. I've had my hair cut 4 times. Three times my stylist was Isaac who is a talented and conscientious young man I simply adore. He has consistently cut my hair the way I wanted it and didn't rush through the cut like they do at other branches of Super Cuts I've gone to in the past. I habitually do not make an appt. to get my hair cut, preferring to take a chance when I feel like today is the day to go get it done. If I can't get in to see the stylist of my choice I end up hacking at my hair and make a total mess of it. So in a moment of desperation I decided to see if Isaac was working and thus save my hair from certain mutilation. Unfortunately Isaac was off when I went in. Not trusting myself to wait till the next day for a cut I let Michee cut my hair instead. She cut my hair fast, did not show me the back, took my payment and tip and sent me on my merry way. When I got home and looked at the back of my head I discovered a huge hump of hair right across the back of my head. It looked like there was a growth under there. Seriously? I was furious. My sister asked me who butchered my hair and my husband just shook his head and told me to go back to Isaac ASAP. The next day I went back and had Isaac fix the "mullet" hair cut Michee gave me. I guess she didn't know the meaning of the "layers" I asked for despite her ten years or more experience. Isaac explained how a mullet cuts the top hair, skips the entire middle and layers the bottom. Um, what happened to the LAYERS I wanted all over? Isaac fixed the hair cut as much as he could, explaining I would have to let the top grow out for a few weeks so he could cut it again. In the meantime I would have an "awkward" stage. Actually, after Isaac fixed the damage the cut looked so much better. It actually grew out really nice too! This time when I went to see him I wanted my hair cut short. He took his time and showed me what he did. I wanted even more cut off the sides so we just went for it and got daring. Think Pixie cut. My hair is shorter than it has been in over ten years. My husband loves it. I love it. We both love Isaac. He's the best. My sister complimented my hair tonight and said she might switch over to Isaac when her stylist retires. I would have given this Super Cuts a 5 star rating if not for the fact that when I was in cutting my hair the other day, Michee was working next to Isaac and kept sniping at him with mean remarks. It was very unprofessional and the fact that the manager didn't put a stop to it made me wonder how much of that goes on on a regular basis. When I am having my hair cut I don't want the stylist in the next chair talking down on the person working on my hair. It puts out bad energy, makes the customers uncomfortable and is just downright rude. Isaac just let her meanness roll off like water off a duck's back. Awesome dude. Really. I was sceptical to try a new salon, my brother had recommend it to me, So I gave it a shot. Not bad I'll say... just took a little longer then I expected to wait. But as for the hair cut I was pleased with it. I was going for a high and tight but ended with something else I thought was a good look. I wanted the top long and a fade. My brother goes to Jess. Wonderful first experience here! The staff is extremely polite & respectful. You can tell they absolutely love what they do. Myself & my three year old daughter went in for a haircut. My daughter being only three is very nervous and scared when it comes to haircuts, but the staff was very nice to her & told her what a big girl she was being. They made her very comfortable, & I'm so grateful for that. They made not only mine, but her experience, a wonderful one! I shouldn't have left my house. When i called to schedule an apartment the women was rude, very rude. But I needed my hair trimed. When I got there I told her i wanted a trim, i have layers and I wanted her to follow them. With every cut she made she asked if that is where I wanted her to cut. I am not a hair stylist I don't know how to cut hair, why was she asking me shouldn't she know. While i was in the chair the phone kept ringing and she kept answering it. Twice she held the phone to her ear with one hand and cut my hair with the other. I should have ran out the door but I didn't. Who does this. How is this lady still working here.
