Although this my first time here, I have known Julie all my life. She is professional, her work impeccable and the attention to her clients phenomenal. I came in from Florida after 6 years and had cut my hair last Wednesday 1/31/2018, the person who did my hair there didn't do very well. I'm so grateful that Julie had an opening to see me on such short notice since I was leaving for Florida and she did not disappoint. Julie inquired on the type of hair style I wanted, shared her views and had an upfront conversation that the hairstyle I was asking for is very short; I've been known to have my hair long. Usually when I go to hair salons, the hairstylist always suggests that I just cut my hair all off, not Sandra. She works with what you have && takes the time to listen to what you want--if u want to trim--u get a trim, not a cut like a lot of salons do. Which is the MAIN REASON why I hands-down trust Sandra with my hair, cause if you are like me, my hair is important. And Sandra equally agrees!! Nothing but the BEST results!! My hair is always at its best && stays surprisingly soft, smooth, && straight for a long time, which for thick hair, is rare. Sandra always gives me an excellent deal. Today was my first time at Julie's Place. I wanted a hair cut but after seeing some of their work via Yelp, fb, ig, I really wanted to highlight as well. I called in the morning but the only opening they had was for a hair cut, which was fine because that was all I originally wanted. I got there and Sandra was my stylist, I have medium length hair and wanted to go shorter because I'm always tying it back anyway, I asked Sandra for her opinion and went with her suggestions. I also asked if she had time for highlights and after checking her schedule she was able to squeeze in my highlights too. I'm so happy and stoked with the way my cut and highlights came out! I was so nervous at first because the last time I wanted short hair, the salon I went to hacked it off and made a mess of it. I haven't had a regular stylist in years, I just been going to random places, but Sandra, she made the time and put in the effort, she knows her stuff and her recommendations were on the money!
