When I picked up my car Jessica showed me a few things that needed attention. I made an appointment to get the work done the following week. My car hasn't driven this well in years. I first want to state that we have had many cars worked on here in the past and have not had issues. our son is friends with the owner of the shop they are in high school together. my fiance a few months back when taking her son to pick up his car that had a few hundred dollars of work done asked if they could check the engine light on her vehicle. they did free of charge.today my fiance went into this shop and was scheduled for an oil change. she upon arriving asked if they could check the ,engine light code that in the past when they had done work to a vehicle they would check this no cost. she was asked to sign a paper before work was done with no prices on it it only stated an oil change and check engine light. she by mistake did not clearly asked what she would be charged. she only knew standard 5 quart oil change is 30 dollars. She then was informed of oil change price was more after the fact and that it would cost 3 dollars extra for each quart over 5 quarts. she was told that our 2004 Lincoln aviator takes 7 quarts. it clearly states in the manual that its has a 6.0 quart engine oil capacity. so not only were we charged extra three dollars the engine was filled with more oil than specified by the auto maker. then was informed that it would cost 45 dollars to put machine to check the engine light on it. Which can be done for free at any auto parts store and she already had it done a few months back stating it was a catalytic converter problem but she forgot the exact wording and engine code when she had it checked before. if she only knew of price she would not have had it done. i just have never had an experience of having a work order done no price and had them get me to sign without knowing price lesson learned by my fiance. very inconsistent , thought we had good mechanic since we knew them. must be hard on money to not make it right and refund her the 45 dollars. ask questions be aware what your getting done and know the price before you sign at mechanics because you wont get your keys back if you dont pay. know before you sign. my fiance had our 2 year old and had no choice at this point but to pay. read more

After spending almost $1000.00 for brake work on my vehicle at 80 Auto Service Center, I am still spending money to replace parts that I was told were replaced during the initial repair. $150.00 so far and I expect another $200.00 before the brakes are right. I would not recommend this company to do anything. They refuse to negotiate a solution. read more
