Susan @ Raphael is amazing! I walked in, with no appointment and waited less than 10 minutes before she was able to see me. I have thick Italian dark hair and she handled it perfectly. She respected my style, my part, and specifically how much I wanted cut (7.5 inches by the end of it all!). I didn't realize till the end that she had actually stayed open after hours to finish my cut & style, plus clean up! It was a Friday night and I was desperate for a cut and she made me feel right at home and never rushed. Susan is very sweet, and the salon is very clean and accommodating. I was referred by a young lady I met whos haircut I loved. There are three stylists there (or at least that I witnessed) all female and west Indian. They all do a fantastic job. They do everything from short cuts, weaves, eyebrows, to relaxers. They may even do natural hair too, but don't quote me on that. Winny relaxed and cut my hair, and she was very thorough. My scalp was a little tender (think I scratched a bit too much before that relaxer) but she still tried to be gentle. She could tell I was a wee bit nervous (I have some BAD haircut stories!) so she reassured me that things would be A-ok. She has a sharp eye and really molded the cut to fit my face, something many hairstylists have forgotten how to do. The atmosphere was laid back, very friendly and quiet; nothing on but a TV. If you need a clean cut, sew-in, or a roller set I HIGHLY recommend these ladies!
