Some are lazy and just wax, they don't bother doing any shaping. Others simply disregard my request to NOT make my eyebrows thin {my ultimate pet peeve! Argh!} Anna is the only one, aside from my mom who is also excellent, who listens and actually takes time to shape my brows, not just tear them apart with hot wax. She's also a complete sweetheart. The only pitfall I have about Oggi is the hours and the prices. The hours are tough to work around if you work full time and the prices are a bit steep. They do have limited hours on the weekends, but those can be busy. I once had a facial here, which Anna did a really great job with, but it was expensive. Not surprising though because this is a pretty fancy salon. Anna charges roughly $20 for brows, which is not too bad considering the effort she puts in. She sometimes spends up to 30 mins. doing just my brows! Anna clearly takes pride in her work and that's why I keep coming back.

My appointment started exactly on time, Amber was wonderful, very easy to talk to, gave me some helpful suggestions, and did an amazing job. This was years ago. Second complaint another student left me while she went to the Finance office and Miss Karen was livid about it. Third complaint was a few weeks ago. I had asked for low and high lights and ended up with grayish tones throughout my hair so upon calling that Monday to ask if they could fix it, Miss Marie told me it's a school and I said what does that have to do with anything so I went in on Thursday and they put a blonde toner in and of course it was better than nothing compared to the way I left so beware if you even speak up about the service because you're not pleased, you will be asked to never come back, this is very unprofessional and if it's a school, then the students would have to learn just as if they worked in a real Salon, etc.. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she got straight to work. I regret not telling her to keep my hair long, and I wish she asked me questions to confirm my desired cut. She did not talk to me, which is fine. It was a 20 minute cut combined with my long (hip length) hair, and her pausing to tend to another customer's dye job. When she finished, she styled it with a brush and hair dryer. It wasn't good styling, but I didn't mind too much. The hair cut itself was not great. It looked nothing like the picture, and she struggled with thicker Asian hair apparently. There is a chunk of bluntly cut hair at the back of my hair that I guess she gave up on before focusing on the top layers. I went from having long hair to still somewhat hair (chest length) that's an awkward length. I will not be returning.
