When I saw online that the car had dropped in price I reached out to the original sale team member I had been dealing with but he was evidently not in office - a different sales person responded. We reached an agreement on the price - after pointing out a discrepancy between the price we were quoted and the price listed online, Informed the sales member we would take the vehicle and would travel from a different state to pick it up - the deal was made late Wednesday afternoon and we would travel and be at the dealership when they opened on Friday. We were assured by the sales team member that's provided the buyers order that this was fine and they would see us then. At 4:30 pm on Thursday the original sales team member called and informed me the car was sold. Really, after sitting for weeks? DId it sell or did the sales team try to salvage their commission from an obvious pricing screw up? I emailed and called the dealership asking for clarification on where the communication broke down and have yet to receive any communication from either sales team members I had been dealing with or Mr. John Burckel. Even after being PROMISED a return call. I understand first come, first served but from my perspective, the timing feels very suspicious. Unfortunately, interactions like this reinforce the negative reputation that car salespeople often have. In an age where online reviews and social media play such a significant role in consumers' decisions, I would have expected a dealership to operate with more transparency and integrity rather than appear to play games with customers. My car search is back to square one but I do know I'll be exploring other options with dealerships that conduct business more honestly.

They took the car in transfer from the dealership, evaluated it, offered a reasonable estimate, and performed the service in a reasonable amount of time.  They communicated well with me through their electronic messaging system.   I didn't have an opportunity to get into personalities, but they were professional with me. They also offered me recommendations for referrals to other auto vendors for other services that I needed.  Facility looks clean and up to date. I will go back; car runs well.

They explain things to you in detail, and where appropriate, give you options. Their pricing is fair, especially as they aren't trying to upsell you on services you might not need. The Ragusa's run a business that thrives on honesty and fairness, and sadly that is pretty rare in the automotive service industry. They also are supporters of the Mid-City community, and that's something you want to see in your local businesses.

If I were to purchase a Hitachi sensor (which is what he said he used) from Oreilly it would have been $177.00 and again his price would be less. Now I understand every business needs to make a profit in order to stay open, I am for them even making money, (they need to make a living as well). But they charged $458.00 for the part. Like I said I beleive in them making a profit but to mark up a part 125% is ridiculous. They made money on the labor and diaognostic fee. I suppose it is my fault for not doing the research ahead of time, but I saw all of the good reviews and thought they could be trusted. I am writing this review for a friend of the family, who by the way is a single mom who walked in holding a 2yr old on her hip. What makes it so bad is that they knew it was a woman with a child and still took advantage. I confronted the person at the counter about this when we picked the car up and his only response was I should have said something before they performed the work, so I gave them a chance to make it right before this review was left. The worst thing about this place has been remedied---the driveway entrance from Coursey used to have a lot of cracked and broken cement but it was completely fixed in early 2021 so that's no longer a negative---of course if that's the biggest negative then this must be a pretty positive place. By the way, among the services provided by Success Auto Tech are engine diagnostic, brakes, CV joints, mufflers, computer alignment, alternators and general automotive work. Highly recommended.

Later presents you with outrageous bills ( both on parts and services). The only time he attempted to give me heads up on diagnosis was the last time I was there. He called to tell me I had a broken part on the engine housing and as such I needed to replace the engine. When I told him I was not prepared for engine replacement, he charged me exorbitant fee to return my vehicle in exactly the same form it came in (I drove it there by the way). If I chose not to pay, I would have to tow it off their lot. I paid him and told him he would never get my business again. If you do find yourself there, make sure he gives you an estimate before commencing work on your vehicle. If possible, the estimates should be itemized and printed out.
