When the tow truck driver arrived he dropped me off at Simpson's. Not knowing much about cars, or even why mine overheated, I was completely at their mercy. Most of the Yelp reviews said that this shop just outside downtown Baton Rouge is a good place for car repairs at a fair price. I experienced that too. The neighborhood on old US 190 is a little iffy, but the place itself is well taken care of, both inside and out. Many bays to work on cars. Waiting room with TVs and free wi-fi, the chairs are a little hard after a while. They did not try to sell me more than the car needed, they found the problem and fixed it. It took at least an hour longer to do the job, and we were a little late leaving the motel, but the part went to the wrong wholesaler, not 360's fault. I had a good experience at 360 Automotive Solutions, aka Simpson's Service Center. And I recommend it if you find yourself with car trouble.

Later presents you with outrageous bills ( both on parts and services). The only time he attempted to give me heads up on diagnosis was the last time I was there. He called to tell me I had a broken part on the engine housing and as such I needed to replace the engine. When I told him I was not prepared for engine replacement, he charged me exorbitant fee to return my vehicle in exactly the same form it came in (I drove it there by the way). If I chose not to pay, I would have to tow it off their lot. I paid him and told him he would never get my business again. If you do find yourself there, make sure he gives you an estimate before commencing work on your vehicle. If possible, the estimates should be itemized and printed out.
