Jose worked his magic and gave our backyard a much needed facelift. The yard was never done when we moved in and I was always embarrassed of it and hated to look at my yard..... now after only having my yard done in a few days I can't stay out of it. He came and provided us with a quote and was honest about our sprinkler issue and that he could not give us a complete estimate on it until he started to tear up the yard and see what was existing. Once he started the sprinkler work he kept us very involved in what it was going to take in order to make the old system work with the new. We knew what was taking place the whole time, there were no surprises. I threw a couple of add-ins along the way and Jose patiently accepted the challenge and even offered his opinion. When all was said and done he did not charge a whole lot extra for the additional work. He showed up on time each day, worked hard regardless of the triple digit temperatures and never complained about it. When everything was done he promised to come back every other day to check on the new grass and make sure that it was getting enough water. He has kept his word and has been back every other day so far. We loved his work so much that he just gave us a quote to overhaul our front yard and make it not the embarrassment of the block!! Jose came out right away to find out why some of the sprinklers weren't working in the backyard. A tree root broke the sprinkler line. He found and fixed the problem within minutes. He even added new concrete to the existing patio and did an excellent job. I'm going to request his service again for new sprinkler placement I the front yard and some planting of new trees and bushes. Very hard worker. read more

I can't say enough good things about this business and the owner Jose. From the beginning till when the job was done, Jose maintained his professionalism, punctuality, and his friendliness to the max. And above all, Jose is an honest guy, and always stays true to what he says. We now have the perfect looking lawn, thanks to his hard work and the service he has provided. The first batch of grass was poorly grown, or maintained by the supplier, so they slowly died down after a few days. Jose took a trip out of town and came back to check on us. Was recommended to Superior Landscape by our neighbor. We are extremely happy with Jose at Superior. Our lawn desperately needed some love as we previously had a big tree taken out with a lot of big roots left behind. Our old lawn was such an eye sore; crab grass, weeds, and tree roots were taking over. Jose is always friendly. He happened to be checking on my neighbor's lawn and we've talked a few times on getting our lawn done. He was honest about what the job entailed and provided knowledge and expertise for his reasons why we needed certain services. The job entailed replacing all sprinkler heads, remove old tree roots, rotating the soil, adding nutrients to the sandy soil, applying sod, and fix the sprinkler system. We are beyond satisfied! I called Superior Landscaping because my side yard walkway kept flood every time it rained and every time my neighbor hosed down their walkway on the other side of our shared fence. I had know idea what to do to fix it, but Superior Landscaping did a great job! He got rid of the sloped dirt at the fence line and dug a narrow trench filled with larger pebbles/rocks that allow all of the water to flow through that way and not flow onto my walkway. They also took out some large fenceline trees that got to be annoying because the branches would poke anyone who walked by them. I thought this was going to be a multi-day job but it was done within a few hours and it is beautiful. No more flooding! The business owner did the job himself and I highly recommend this business. The price was incredibly reasonable for the amount of work that was done too. I'll be calling this landscaper again the next time I have a yard project. read more

We were a little nervous starting two big projects at once. We were doing both the front & back yards as a do over with water saving rock with designs. Jose was wonderful in easing all our concerns. He communicated when we ran into unforeseen problems, mainly live roots sprouting up trees where we did not invite them to be. He worked around weather issues, and sometimes worked in the rain to be able to meet our deadlines. We will use Jose again for other projects as we learned he can do all your landscaping needs. I had three valves and changed out one. As soon as I changed it out, a few days later the next one started to leak. I had requested a few other estimates and I got three estimates raging from $150 to $250. It had been leaking for months and it was so bothersome. I finally decided to make one more call. I found Superior Landscaping and the strange thing is I would normally not call anyone with only a few reviews but read those reviews and made the call.. Within two minutes of talking to Jose I felt he was trustworthy. As soon as I got off the call I saved his number and wrote, "trust" next to his name.. He came over within an hour and he taught me a few things on the sprinklers and valve then he said I think it's just this one pin. Then he said I just removed one similar to this let me see if the pin will work on yours. He replaced it and it stopped the leak! Then I said how much do I owe you and he didn't charge me for it! Even though it was an easy fix he could have easily charged me. I knew from the get go this man was an honest man. Sometimes you just know within seconds. I would highly recommend Jose. read more
