Needed some fruit trees and trees hanging over our fence cut and trimmed. Francisco and his team did an awsome job. It looks nice and it's exactly what I needed. They were reasonable and went the extra mile by cleaning up and removing all the limbs and leaves on the ground. I have one tree that needs to be staked and another one that needs some type of spay on it to protect it since my dog ripped the bark off . They are coming back tomorrow I am so happy with them. Do not hire these guys. The owner of the Sanchez Tree Services Company does not have trees removal license, insurance, bond, and all the requirements to operate as a tree removal service. They use untrained cheap labor that do not speak English to undercut local arborists who earn honest living by paying license, insurance, and bond expenses that requires by law. Sanchez wants to get paid with cash only to avoid paying tax and paperwork trail. Even his big truck that holds woodchip license plate expired more than 4 months ago when I saw it. It is illegal to hire these people to cut your trees. If something went wrong, you will get sued and liable for any accident as they don't have any insurance or bond to cover. The owner came out on a Saturday afternoon and gave me a great estimate. Came out the following Tuesday right on schedule. It was one hour - arrival to leaving and he was done. He took that tree down in the blink of an eye. It wasn't a huge tree that required climbing, but that tree stood no chance against that chain saw and his skills! Cut, grind, and done! Cut out and chewed up the roots and stump. The aftermath looks like a tree never existed. Awesome! Cleaned up everything as though they were never there cutting down a tree. I cannot say enough good things about this tree service. We had received a bid from a tree service that we see regularly around town and the price to take out one tree was astronomical. We then got another bid, but the next day this card was out on our front door. They came right out and gave us an estimate, and with their prices we were able to take out 2 trees (large redwoods). First time I used Sanchez tree service they did a good job and showed up as promised . I was going to use them again to clean up two palms but this time they took a very long time to respond to my text when they finally did they said they could not come until two weeks later. We agreed on the date, time and price but they failed to show up and did not bother to inform me that they would not make as scheduled. I would not recommend this company as they are disinterested in providing communication and service to a return customer. read more

My experience was similar to Mark's. I had two trees in front of my home. I specifically told the owner that I only wanted one tree removed and the stump taken to ground level. Jose came out, looked at the trees and quoted $500 for the one tree. The day he shows up he says it's $1000 for both trees. I reminded him that I only wanted one tree removed. He then said it would be $600 for just one. I reluctantly agreed. When he finished approximately 4 inches of stump was showing. What part of down to ground level did he not understand? He then said it would be another $150 to grind the stump. $750 for one tree after an initial quote of $500? I rented a stump grinder and did it myself. read more

This is by far the worst business I have dealt with in a long time. The owner Jose Sanchez came out to give me a quote on removing 7 trees including stumps. I reached out to Jose the next day and asked if he would remove only 3 trees with their stumps for half the cost? He agreed and scheduled the date. The morning he showed up to the job site he starts asking if i would pay more money. Really? I told him he already quoted me and agreed to take out 3 trees with the stumps for half the price of taking out the original 7 trees. He paused and then agreed to it..once again!!! He starts the job to call me 2 hours later saying he is done (after telling me this would take the entire day) and his stump grinder is in the shop. As I show up at the job site he asks if I can pay him i then asked him how much and he wanted at least 80% of the quoted price. I told him he did half the job I will pay him half the money. He then came back a week and a half later and just grind the stumps about 4 inches and covered them with sawdust. I reached out to Jose for him to tell me that I would have to pay $200 more if i want them grind down deeper and that i got 3 trees removed for cheap. I have already had another very reputable company come out and remove the other 4 trees for half his price and do a fantastic job at that. My opinion is this is not a company I would do or every do business with again, not to mention i used a 15% off coupon he had in the local coupon book. read more
