Our Lawnman retired and sold his accounts to Superior. The first time they spray, its not even with streaks. In the front lawn he must of layed the sprayer on the lawn causing a huge dead spot. Next app. I asked the rep about it. He said "well, I'd throw some seed on it, but it's mid June. Hello we pay for a service so it looks professional. Very disappointed!!! read more

DO NOT USE THE COMPANY Just had tech out. He arrived at 11:20 (According to my camera) and he was loading back up at 11:22. I stood on back deck and he never sprayed my back yard and he only sprayed about a third of the way down on the left side of the house. I ask him why he didn't do the back yard and he said he did. I told him I was watching and he said he would not do it again. I told him I was going to report him and he got in his truck and left. On the receipt it says he checked the pH of my soil and said I needed lime. NO way he could do all of that in the 2 minutes that he was here. I called the office and was told they would call me back and I'm still waiting!!! What a crappy service. Wondering how many times this has happened when I wasn't watching or at home. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! read more

Unfortunately, what would have been a five start review 11 years ago is now 1 star. We were customers of SLC for over a decade. Have had some problems over the years, but nothing huge. The last problem was getting an automated voice mail about payment for a bill that was 15 days old along with them stating bills are due within 30 days. Big changes in that decade for them... my lawn will be taken care of from a company who values their customers. Not SLC. read more

We hired superior lawn services spring time 2020. We were under the impression that with their applications on our lawn we would end up with lush, green lawn. However, our lawn is brown and there are many bald spots. We spoke to the manager he came out and said because of the hot summer and dry Ness of the weather our lawn couldn't be any better. They continued to apply apply spray while we watered the lawn daily. Even though we pay them I will not use them again. I do not recommend the service. read more

This Company is horrible. My neighbor uses their service. They spayed right next to my vegetable garden. Overspray absolutely gets on my garden. I called and a representative of the company came out and said they would not spray near the garden anymore. Well today the guy shows up to spray and when I asked him to stay away from my garden he said he was told to ignore me. I asked for a Material Safety Data Sheet so I could see which poison they were spraying on my garden and they did not have one, which is a violation of Federal law. These guys are clowns, and have a complete disregard for others, and the law. read more

Treated yard for 2 years only to find crabgrass growing all over. Bob said it was from planted new seed from our trees being removed, but what he doesn't understand is it's all over our yard & that doesn't explain the problem very well. Now we have dead grass all throughout our whole front yard cause they fixed it. Yeah they fixed the crabgrass they were "supposed" to be preventing. Not sure what we have been paying for. Very unprofessional & we are not pleased with the results. Not going back to these guys. read more

Was a customer for over 6 years. This year they over sprayed my yard, killing my grass. It was 6 weeks before they took any action to correct it and had the nerve to charge me. It was so late in the season and with so much rain - no grass grew and now I'm left with a muddy mess that my dogs drag in via their dog door. read more

Stay away from this lawn care group if you know what is good for you. My experience with them is that they are anything but "superior". They would treat the central areas of my lawn but stay away from the edges for fear of harming the flowerbeds ( which have a Belgian block border around them). I had to call them back for "retreats" on several occasions as the weeds continued to takeover my lawn. At one point I questioned if they were using only water. On one "retreat" occasion I watched as the gentleman walked around my yard and selectively hand treated some weeds while ignoring others. When I originally signed up with them, several optional services were made available. Over the phone, I confirmed that I only wanted the lime application. In the fall, they decided to aerate my lawn, a service I did not feel I could afford and did not agree to. After some discussion with Ben, I agreed to pay for the service but I would have to make payments as it was an unplanned expense. I have been making regular monthly payments, but I have now been told that they will not apply my fifth (free) treatment until my balance is at $0.00. I feel they are very unethical. I paid up front for the four treatments that entitled me to a free fifth late fall treatment, and I should have received that treatment as originally planned. Ben claims I would still receive a free treatment in the spring when my balance is paid off, but that will not replace the late fall treatment they did not do. Ben is assuming a lot to think I would ever consider using their services again. read more
