My positive review is based almost entirely on the treatment I have received for several years now…read morefrom Dr. Webster. I simply cannot say enough good things about him. He is thorough in his explanations and ensures that I have an understanding with which I'm entirely comfortable. He has consistently demonstrated a genuine concern for my well-being during every visit to his office. Furthermore, he has also been very responsive via my e-messages to matters that have arisen not requiring an office visit. There have been no surprises with any fees and this includes two surgical procedures. If there's a negative comment, it involves making productive phone contacts with the office. These have seemed somewhat cumbersome. That problem however is quite minor compared to the care I've received from Dr. Webster.

They are not a good company at all! I first was referred to them by my doctor at Common Spirit…read morebecause they were concerned I might have Prostate cancer! After waiting several weeks for my appointment I saw one of their doctors who did a digital exam and ordered a test to come to my home so he could tell for sure if I have prostate cancer, which is very scary to have to wait for results, however the test never came to my house! several weeks went by and I passed a kidney stone so I made another appointment but this time I could only see his assistant who's office is 30 minutes away because he was booked out for several weeks. She ordered a test for the kidney stones and reordered the test for the prostate cancer test and I made a follow up appointment but at the office close to my house which is 5 minutes away. The prostate test came first and I sent it in and then the kidney stone test came a few days later and I sent that as well! Then I got a text from the office saying because they had not received the prostate test I sent they had to cancel my appointment. I called and told them I sent the test several days prior and all of the sudden they found the test that I sent and rescheduled my appointment, however they rescheduled me to the office 30 minutes away with out me noticing until appointment time came! Upon arriving I asked why I had to come to this office instead of one by my house that I specifically asked to be scheduled at last time I was there and why I had a $13 chargealong with the $40 copay but the lady could not answer either question and gave me a card with a financial service number! BTW they are a nightmare to get a hold of and they always refer you to a Webb site that does not even work properly so I was not happy to get a phone number instead of her finding out for me! I paid the $40 co pay and sat down waiting to get called back because I was anxious to see if I had prostate cancer or not! four or five patience came in after me for their appointments, clearly scheduled after mine, I watched them take each one back in front of me even though my appointment was ahead of them. I had an important work appointment after the doctors office visit and now it was 1:45 and I still had not been seen for my 1:00 appointment that I drove 30 minutes for. I realized that they put me at the back of the line because I simply asked a couple questions when I first came in. I feel this treatment was so disrespectful and just down right mean! I had to leave because I could not miss my work appointment so I ask for a refund of my copay and left! They obviously did not care about me potentially having cancer and it made me feel sick that they treated me this way! They never have put any information on my portal that I signed up for over a month ago so I have no idea what is going on! Now I need my medical records sent to a new urologist. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone I got someone that I can barely understand because of the thick accent he has to spell the web site because I could not understand what he was saying so I go to the web site and try the download link and it does not work so he gives me a phone number to call that simply refers me back to the web site and nobody actually answers only an AI recording. I left a message with the AI at the site and got a text message that they are closed and it is 11:30 in the morning on a Tuesday so I have no idea how to get my medical records and test results sent to the new urologist! They are such a priorly run business from their scheduling to their making you use AI a web site that does not work properly never update my portal and the disrespect I occurred at the doctors office when they made me drive 30 minutes to their other office instead of the office that I was referred to which was only 5 minutes from my house! I would not use Colorado Urology, United Urology or Arizona Urology what ever they call themselves if I were you! Intermountain Health Urology, who I called to change doctors offices were very good, answered right away spoke proper English and got me scheduled to an office closer to my house I still have no idea how to get them my medical records from Colorado Urology who also goes by United Urology and Arizona Urology so it has been so frustrating not knowing if I have cancer or not because how poorly I was treated but his company!

I showed up and they made me wait for 45 minutes in the waiting room while they went to the hospital nextdoor to borrow a cauter pen (the tool that cauterizes your tubes). No idea what the backstory was but essentially they plugged it in and it was not compatible with their machine. They had me fully undressed and had made incisions already before they found this out. So I'm laying there, wide open in more ways than one, praying that the local anesthetic doesn't wear off, while the doctor and his assistant try to figure out why the machine is incessantly beeping (it does not normally do this). They flip switches and unplug and plug back in. Making jokes about infernal machines while I hang out with my... Well you get it. Instead of declaring this something of an emergency, they just try the incompatible cauter pen on my vas deferens. As he's working doctor Weiss delcares that it's 'sort of working, just slower" which gives me great confidence, let me tell ya. 6 months later and I am still having pain and bruising (basically internal bleeding) and have made another appointment to see someone who didn't get their M.D. from a community college Also took them 6 months to file a claim. It showed up today which reminded me I was going to write this review. Ended up being waaay more than I was quoted from my insurance company (which is absolutely the only reason I went to someone with less than 4 stars). I actually can't really believe they had the gall to bill me after essentially performing malpractice on my sensitive bits.

I unfortunately would have a tough time recommending the Denver Urology Clinic. My review will be…read morelong, but I want to give the whole story to be as fair as possible. We were introduced to the Denver Urology Clinic after my husband had an emergency surgery to remove a testicle after a softball injury. Because we came in through the ER, we automatically ended up with a doctor from this clinic. The surgery began as exploratory based on an ultrasound showing loss of blood flow, and ended with the removal after Dr. Logan noticed that the testicle had completely ruptured. I asked Dr. Logan several times about the remaining testicle, and he kept brushing me off and saying it was uninjured in a way that made me think he didn't really look because the ultrasound didn't tell him to. When we were being discharged, the nurses kept asking us to refer to our paperwork for follow up instructions. Unfortunately, Dr. Logan did not really fill out the discharge paperwork. The only things written on it were "discharge to home" and "apply ice to scrotum for 72 hours". There were no instructions on gauze application, he did not list the clinic's phone number, and there was no indication of when my husband's follow up appointment should be. I had to call Rose ER once we were home to even get his office's phone number for these things. I will say that Dr. Logan did a phenomenal job on his surgery, though. My husband's incision was so precise and we had no post-surgery issues with the removed side that were not to be expected. When we called The Denver Urology Clinic, they made our follow up with a PA, Dr. Elizabeth McKnight. We never heard from or spoke to Dr. Logan again. Dr. McKnight was concerned about some bruising, so she called Dr. Kabra in. We felt like Dr. Kabra gave us more attention than we had received so far, and really liked his bedside manner. He decided my husband should go for another ultrasound because the swelling on the remaining testicle was so severe. We were a bit confused as the swelling had not really changed, and Dr. Logan did not seem concerned about it all, but of course in the effort of maintaining a healthy testicle we booked the appointment. The ultrasound showed blood flow but also a hematoma surrounding the testicle. Dr. McKnight nicely explained to me on the phone that they don't know if it could be restricting blood flow and they may like to go back in surgically to remove it. She explained that another hematoma could just take its place after this surgery though, so Dr. Kabra was going to make the call. When we heard from Dr. Kabra he explained that there is just not enough literature on this so he was going to go in and remove the hematoma just to be safe. Well he wasn't, ANOTHER doctor we had never met was going to. As much as I trust and respect Dr. Kabra and his opinion, my gut instinct didn't know if this was a good reason for a surgery. Mostly because we had already been warned that another hematoma could just replace this one, so why would we risk replacing a hematoma not currently causing damage that we know of with one that might? I decided to seek a second opinion because of this. Again, not because we doubt Dr. Kabra, who seems like a great doctor, but because jumping into another surgery without a concrete reason why made me nervous. When you only have one testicle left it is such a fragile situation, we needed to make absolutely sure we were doing the right thing before proceeding with surgery. Based on hearing the story a urologist we know said that surgery did not sound like the best course of action in this situation. Because of this, we booked an appointment with a separate urologist to review the ultrasound, physically examine my husband, and give his opinion. When we went to another urologist it became clear that the care we were receiving at the Denver Urology Clinic was not exceptional. For one, we went from doctor to doctor to doctor with no explanation. I'm sure there's a very good reason, especially when they work in emergency situations, but it was never explained to us why we never saw Dr. Logan again or why Dr. Kabra wouldn't be performing the surgery he was recommending. When we asked questions, we always received good and thorough answers, but we just didn't feel the level of connection and care that we did somewhere else. Also, the recommendation of the third doctor at a separate clinic was that surgery would cause more swelling, bleeding, and damage and would put the remaining testicle at a much higher risk of loss. He explained the research that supported this idea, and we felt it was a much more in depth explanation than "We just don't know so we want to be safe". To us, this testicle is our future. It is our ability to have children, and my husband's ability to have a normally functioning body without hormone therapy. I wanted to share our story in case anyone else is in our position, and if you are I hope this helps and wish you the very best of luck.

Highly Recommend Dr. Kefer for Prostate Biopsy I'm posting…read morethis for any man who is anxious about getting a prostate biopsy. I've had two previous biopsies with other doctors, and both were very painful and stressful. My experience with Dr. Kefer was completely different. He uses a specialized chair that makes positioning much more comfortable, communicates clearly before each sample, and prioritizes pain and anxiety control. I was given local anesthetic and allowed to self-administer nitrous oxide, which made a huge difference. The procedure was far easier than I expected. If fear is holding you back, know that technique and approach matter. In the right hands, this can be very manageable. I highly recommend Dr. Kefer.

I WISH WISH WISH we had asked for a different referall!! If this can help ONE person avoid this fate, then maybe this post will help someone. Too late for us, but hope the next person dodges this bullet. Husband said the care team was fine, but most care teams are. He said if given the choice again, the aggravation isn't worth it, even if the team was nice.
