The place is a scam. No oil was changed. Change engine light came back in 3 weeks. Oil was black. Avoid at all cost.

I called to see how much the oil change for my Alfa Romeo would be the and guy that answered was straight up... "we don't do Alfa romeos". Even pep boys does it but I wanted to go local. Great place to take my car for service. I just had oil change and Inspection service done and it was great! Left my car there and came back for it one hour later. Everything was taken car off in such a great way. My mistake, I left a past due proof of insurance and the owner called the insurance company to check it out and got everything going for me. If they tell you your brakes need replaced get a second opinion. Prior to this happening my family had been using this shop for years- we'd always had good experiences with the reception and services. Not sure what happened. I took my car here for a state inspection last year and it passed with no issues- it's been driven about 300 miles since then. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me the tires need rotated. I say okay, rotate the tires. They call again to tell me that all four of the brakes are completely shot and need to be replaced. Considering that they were fine 300 miles ago that seems unlikely. I speak to the manager who basically tells me that "these things happen and we can't explain them". He was incredibly rude and condescending. My sister had her car in a couple of months ago and was also told her brakes need to be fully replaced. She had them do it and after leaving found out that they caused a major mechanical issue. She took the car back and they fixed it. Between her experience and the recent inspection I was pretty suspicious. Took my car to a different mechanic for a second opinion and he confirmed that the back brakes were completely fine (still had more than half of their life left). The front brakes needed new pads due to a sticky pin causing uneven wear but definitely didn't need to be fully replaced. This place straight up lied about the condition of my car- after my sister's experience I was hesitant to let them do major repair work, after this experience I wouldn't trust them to even change oil. read more

This place is all kinds of crooked. Do not do business with these people. Charged me two $125 diag fees for one ac system. One diag fee was for the bad blower motor and another $125 to tell me it was a lbs low on Freon (which I doubt was true). So had to pay these guys $250 to leave with the vehicle. I will get my $250 back somehow. read more

Been coming here for years, however after my last iil change I had to come back twice within a couple of days because of oil leaks. The first time they said it was the plug. The second time the cap on the oil filter. Neither was replaced properly. Horrible!!!! read more

They charged an extra 6.50 over the cost of the oil change on the Groupon certificate that I purchased. When I got there, the man asked me if I purchased the synthetic blend. I asked if the will be ok for the 2008 Toyota Prius that I just purchased. He said it would be fine. Then after the oil change, she requested more. I asked what for. She said "it's in the fine print. People don't read the fine print." So I stood there and read the entire coupon. All it said is that luxury vehicles will be charged extra because they sometimes require special filters or oil. My car is not a luxury vehicle. It is an economy car. The oil change was done so fast, I have to wonder if it was completed. But they did put the sticker on the windshield, so maybe that's what you get there for 27.50. read more

5 Months, 5 Months!!! That's how long it took Superior Oil Express in Mission to service my vehicle. I do not recommend this establishment for anything! Be weary of what they tell you if you decide to hire them. They do not have experienced mechanics and management is ignorant of its own business practices and that includes it's owners... my vehicle broke down again the same day I picked it up! I will not bother with rating this so called business because it does not deserve any positive ratings! They literally destroyed my vehicle and I had no choice than to buy a new one! Reviews can be one-sided and unfair sometimes, but I will make this as neutral as I can. I've been a loyal customer for a while changing oil for my cars. Made a really bad decision to use their mechanical services and their true colors came out. They kept my car for 2 1/2 weeks when originally promised 5 days. Blamed on parts delivery delays, naturally. At the end charged me $170 beyond the original $1,820 quote without asking permission. Returned my car filthy dirty, didn't have the decency to at least clean it. You got the gist....don't go even near that place. read more

We had been taking our 2011 Nissan Maxima here to get the oil changed. We noticed a leak in our garage and brought it back 2 days later. They said it was spillage and cleaned it all up and said we had nothing to worry about. A couple of days later our garage was even worse. It had leaked so much oil that it was leaving a trail. We went back again and they checked it again, replaced the oil again, and said that it was spillage....again. Long story short, it was not spillage. We had to take it back a THIRD time and turns out they broke one of the caps. We got 2 free oil changes and they fixed the problem but this was a hassle and waste of our time when it should have been done right the first time. read more

I would warn anyone, especially females, from doing business with this establishment. My daughter took her vehicle there for an oil change and tire rotation. They basically scared her into thinking that if she did not change her rotors and brake pads they would give out on her at any moment. Not knowing what to do, she went ahead and did it. When she called home to let us know, I had told her that we just changed both about 8 months ago and that there was know way they needed to be changed this soon. When my husband called back to speak to the gentlemen who told her this he basically lied saying he did not say that. They are dishonest, take advantage of female patrons and not someone I would trust to do any type of work on a vehicle. Look elsewhere! read more

this place is the worst; management is a joke. The only pleasant person was the receptionist. I paid $595 and they couldn't even clean the windows nor vacuum the car a courtesy service even Walmart provides, so I had to ask that they do so. They also failed to complete a couple of tasks that I specifically requested and completely blood-suck customers. Went in to get an oil change and they said I needed a valve cover replaced, alternator belt and spark plugs. After spending over $500.00 I got back home to San Antonio and my car was drained of oil. My car was leaking worse than before I went in for oil change. OVERPRICED AND BAD WORKMANSHIP. I am still waiting to hear back from GM Ray on how he plans on fixing my issue. Poor service This visit I just needed the simple State inspection, however 40 min later still waiting. The issue I see if your spending big money with Oil changes and every customer they do the same thing you need Transmission flush, Fuel injector flush Air filter wipers etc.. Just to drive up profits. Guess what some of us just need State inspection when we are between oil changes and as customer we deserve good treatment as well. either way one customer wont be back and by the way I had 4 cars that used to get oil changes. Disrespectful and dishonest: the two best words to describe this place. I went by today to get a wheel alignment and was told by a mechanic that it would be a half hour wait. When I looked pleased he clarified that it would be AT MOST a hour wait. One hour passes and my car has yet to be touched. I ask them to check on it, and another mechanic says that it'll be another 1.5 hour wait. I ask to speak to the manager, so the mechanic left to get him. Through the window I see the mechanic tell the manager that I'm pissed. The manager walked in and I calmly told him the situation. He immediately got defensive, started yelling, and threw his arms in the air: that "I never told you it would be half an hour". I told him that I thought the service was unacceptable, I was never coming back again, that his staff needs to work on communicating with each other, and that I wanted my car back. He got it but then lectured me on how I have to respect the car that was there before me. And get this, I WAS THERE BEFORE THAT OTHER CAR! They were about to drop $500 to replace breaks so they bumped the other car ahead in line. Totally understandable- it is a business- but they weren't even going to tell me that it would be close to a three hour wait. So I left and now I'm writing this. Basically, this place is fine for basic maintenance, but do not trust them to honestly tell you anything about what services you need done. Before this whole situation went down, the manager had tried to convince me that I needed a tire rotation and to get my tires balanced. That's fine and dandy, but I had just had a tire rotation and got my tires balanced 5 days before- at that same location! They are really only about making money and have no regard for respecting their customers. Came for an oil change, paid a $40.00 Groupon promotion. They told me my drain plug was worn, also stated I needed a special oil filter, they charged me a total for drain plug and oil filter of $33.41 + $40.00 Groupon totaling $73.41! Don't come to this location! Shady business practice. read more

I wanted the AC on my husband's car fixed because it kept making a noise like the fan was loose. They found the problem, fixed it & the price was quite reasonable.
