My experience working with Superior Photo Booths was not as great as I had hoped. It took a while for someone to get back to me with a mock up for my template. Its understandable that it takes a while for it to be created since it was completely from scratch, but an update would've been appreciated. On these day of the event, there were not that many props to choose from, and that the machine froze and needed to be restarted, which caused delays. According to my guests, at one point the printer ran out of paper and the attendant was not prepared with more paper, so it delayed and deterred my guests from using the photobooth. Not sure if that was an isolated incident, but for to pay for a photobooth service, I would expect them to be prepared with at least more printer paper on hand. On a positive note, The template came out nice and exactly what I wanted. The attendant was on time to set up for my wedding. She was also helpful with operating the booth. read more

These guys were the worst. prior to our wedding we kept asking for proofs of our template, they kept telling us their "art department" was working on it (I work for a very large creative company, there's no way the art department here is more than 2 people), They got back to us the DAY OF our wedding before the sent the proof of the template. when we asked for the pictures after the wdding, it took DAYS for them to send over the unprocessed pictures saying that there was a delay in the "art Department". and finally when we got them back, we get a whopping... wait for it.. 39 photos... yes, that's right folks for a day long wedding they gave us a whole 39 photos, blaming it on our MC delaying them. They were the most unprofessional people ever, they didn't follow up whatsoever, they weren't mean on the phone but they definitely don't have it together, they kept referring us to this "art department" that obviously couldn't deliver. We picked them because they were priced right and were close to us. The frustrating part of the whole ordeal was every time we called, they kept referring us to an "art department" that was obviously some person that just wasn't awake yet. read more

Horrible service! Horrible employee! Horrible owner! First off the owner is a LIAR! I had a wedding August 8 2015 and scheduled a photobooth! I contacted these people a week before my event and they were available (now I see why). I spoke with the owner who I informed that my wedding party was 300+. She stated that another employee would be needed unless I could guarantee that the 1 employee would have enough space for the photobooth line. I informed her the photobooth would be located in the back of the Rose ballroom (terrace on the park) and there would be sufficient space. The attendant arrives and states that the back of the ballroom wasn't enough space and that an additional assistant would be needed. We agreed and stated that the full bal plus the extra for the assistant would be paid once the assistant arrived. A hour later no assistant and the employee was requesting full payment! Full payment doe what if there is no assistant and you aren't setting up?! Needless to say I had no photobooth for my wedding! Called the manager 3 days later to discuss the issue and was met with attitude from a guy who I'm sure knew nothing about the issue saying the owner was away! Not less than 1 minute later do I receive a nasty voicemail form the owner (who I was told was "away") stating that our deposit would not be refunded. First of all I never requested a refund, I just wanted to discuss the HORRIBLE service. Secondly, the voicemail that she left was so rude! She stated with attitude that she would not be returning my call! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT do business with these people! These people desire -100 stars! read more

I used Superior for my baby shower on June 5. I had booked them back in February, and from the very first phone call, they were professional, flexible, reassuring, and attentive. They also matched the best rate I would have been able to get through popular online discount sites, and walked me through every aspect of the charges. Other aspects of my baby shower planning turned out to be a bit tumultuous -- the original venue we booked closed without warning, and a "plan B" venue did not have an inclement weather contingency plan, resulting in us changing to a *third* venue when the forecast promised torrential downpours. But Superior rolled with the punches each time, and offered me the choice of closed or open booth set-ups to accommodate the different venue layouts. Superior also went out of their way to match the fonts and design of my invitation suite, providing me with a custom photo strip template that perfectly complimented the other aspects of my party decor. On the day of the event, the attendant arrived early to ensure a smooth set-up, and was polite and polished with my guests. Everyone really enjoyed the booth, and the photo strips will be a keepsake I enjoy looking back on for a long time :-) After some confusion during the rush of post-event clean-up which resulted in a misplaced thumb drive, Superior was kind enough to send me a replacement drive containing all the images taken in the booth during the event. This is unacceptable, the person did not check if the machine has enough paper before they start the event. The printer ran out of paper after two shots and the person did not bring the paper with her, so she has to find someone to bring her the paper, so I actually did not get the photo until right before I left the banquet. Its been a pleasure working with Superior Photo Booths. From the moment I called and booked my photo booth rental I knew I was going to be well taken care of. They went above and beyond working on my design in a timely manner. They came to my event early to set up and provided the exact services promised. There was a table full of great props for my guests to use. The photo booth attendant was amazing! She made sure my guests had a wonderful time. My guests could not stop talking about how great the quality of the photos were. Even when the paper ran out, the attendant had an extra roll and was able to replace the paper quickly and efficiently with no problems or time wasted. My only regret is not using them in the past. Just had my daughter's party. All kids were excited to use the photobooth, the attendant was angry, rude and completely unprofessional. She made some kids cry. I have spoken with the owner to make sure that photobooth will have an option for digital sharing. At the end of the party, I found it wasn't available. The owner said, " we have must have had old equipment". Prompts were so-so. Most importantly his attendant Gabby should not be allowed anywhere near kids. read more

Can I rate Superior Photobooth more than 5 stars? I booked the 4 hour even package for my wedding. First off my attendant Steven (Stephen? Sorry if I spelled your name wrong) WAS FREAKING AWESOME. He was great and very professional with all my guest. Not to mention that the props are new and what a variety! Steven organized the prop table after every use and made sure there were no problems having the booth run the full 4 hours for my booking! Steven also came in an hour later and made sure that booth was running until the very last minute. How come this guy isn't a manager because he definitely deserves it; I've interviewed a lot of people for a profession and I must say that Steven is a keeper. Diana was great as she went the extra mile to help me out and make sure I got exactly what i wanted. The template design team was great and quick! Man I can't say enough about these guys. Most importantly is that I didn't have to pay any attention to the photobooth which definitely helped out with stress. The best part was that the 4 hours was only $500! Working with Superior Photo Booths was the most unprofessional and disappointing experience. We booked AND paid for the photobooth over a month in advance. We submitted artwork for the event and did not hear back until SIX HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT, after trying to get in touch multiple times the week before. The artwork was then messy and did not follow what we had asked. I personally had to design the artwork on the screen DURING THE EVENT. After calling to receive a partial refund, I asked to speak with the owner of the business named Rich but was only referred to Andrew. Andrew proceeded to lie and say that he was Rich's manager. I used Superior Photo Booths for my wedding last weekend. After an initial communication hiccup where there was another bride with the same name the week before me everything ran very smoothly and they were very apologetic. I also spoke to the owner a couple of times on the phone and she was warm and friendly. I found them to be very accommodating, getting me a background and a template for our printouts that I found elsewhere and also allowing me to change my mind about how I wanted the print outs to be executed on the night. On the night I arrived to find the booth perfectly set up with a great range of props and the lady who operated the photo booth on the night was very sweet and extremely patient with all of my (slightly drunk) guests! I worked with Diana for my wedding on October 9th and from start to finish it was a pleasure working with her and Superior Photo Booths. The photobooth was perfect and everyone loved it and had such a great time. We had the best attendant possible who went above and beyond to make sure it was run perfectly. When my venue forgot about the frames I bought to give out to guests, our attendant not only gave them out upon finally receiving them, but went table to table giving out to the people who didnt get before. My initial experience with Superior Photo Booths was great. I had called a couple photobooth places, they all didn't pick up but this one called me right back even though I didn't leave a voicemail. Also, this place came highly recommended by a friend, so I decided to look no further. I booked the package with them over the phone, they were very helpful and patiently answered all my questions with great detail, so I felt very comfortable booking them for my wedding. They initially wanted me to pay for a 2nd attendant because I had 250+ guests at my wedding and they insisted that weddings that large would be too overwhelming for one attendant. But I explained that many of my guests were older Chinese folk that probably wouldn't use it, so they eventually let it be. I appreciated how accommodating they were about this issue. But things go downhill in the days leading up the wedding. I was told they would send me a questionnaire about 10-15 days before my wedding to confirm the style of photo print, the template, backdrop, and other details. It seemed a little too close for me, but I figured they knew what they were doing. Well, the time comes and I never hear anything, no email, no call. I finally give them a call about 10 days before the wedding, and was basically told that they had forgotten about me. But they were still nice about it, apologized, and said they would send it to me right away. I ended up getting the email from them the next morning, and I sent it back immediately with all the details, plus some questions I had. However, again, a few days pass and I never hear back from them. Again I found myself hunting them down, calling them several times, leaving voicemails, and sending follow-up emails - I probably seemed like a crazy person, but this was literally a week before the wedding - and I had a million other things to worry about - I was straight up panicking at this point. I finally received a template on the Thursday before my wedding (which was on a Monday) and honestly, at that point, I just accepted the first one they showed me, because there just was no time to ask for any changes or another template, plus it wasn't too terrible. Overall, their photo booth package was much more affordable compared to other options we looked at it, however I was disappointed by how unreliable their service was -- sometimes they were very responsive, and other times they disappeared for days. Also, my photos came out a bit dark - I even told the attendant the color seemed a bit dark on the day of and asked if he could make it lighter/brighter but he said it was fine, and that it was due to the lighting at the venue. Also, their props were not impressive and quite limited. I finally got to use the photobooth just as they were packing up, and as I reached for the props, there was nothing that I wanted to use. For example, there were a lot of pirate swords... not really wedding appropriate? After adding on the sequin backdrop and other fees, the total came out to be almost $500. It was a good price - not the cheapest but also not ridiculously expensive - but I'm not sure it was worth the stress. Oh, and one more surprise I found out later... my friends said when they clicked on the email link to access the digital copies of the photos, the link sent them to a site that included a bunch of photos from someone else's party and they had to dig through them in order to find the photos from our wedding - and my friend said the other photos looked quite risque! I'm not sure if any of my family members are tech saavy enough to try to access these digital copies too, but I can't imagine if they saw these among our photos. read more

Photobooths are so popular and fun especially at weddings so what sets this compnay apart from others? The customer service is so sweet and amazing! So i booked superior pretty much last minute bc the idea i was going for fell through. So i got them a week before the wedding. I called and i spoke with diana, who is such a sweet heart and absolutely wonderful to speak with. As a bride its the best when someone is upfront and informative with you with everything, and she was. She told me how much it would cost for xyz and the time frame for everything involved. It was such a smooth transaction i was so greatful. Then the day of the photobooth attendant felix came early which i love i always say better early than late. He was so nice and kind and funny. He was so amazing to my guests a few even took pictures with him bc of how awesome he was! Now to me that says something bc he was so damn cool they wanted to remember him. I think thats so rad that he was so willing to be silly with my guests and make sure they had the best time ever! To me theres nothing better than that. Let me start by saying that I have used a different photo booth company at three other events. Usually, it is highlight of the party. I decided to go with Superior Photo Booths for my wedding because they were affordable. You definitely get what you pay for! The initial booking was fine. The lady I spoke to was nice and I felt comfortable with her. On the day of the event they arrived early and the booth was set up before the wedding started at 6pm. Everything went down hill from there. The attendant was completely absent. I went to the photo booth 4 times throughout the night and there was no attendant. She was literally gone for at least an hour and a half of the 5 hour event from what I saw. Obviously I didn't sit and monitor that part of the room the whole time but going by what I was hearing she was M.I.A even longer. Eventually after people waiting in line and a mob forming around the photo booth my guests were forced to take their own pictures. The entire night people kept asking the wait staff, my family, and myself where the photo booth lady was and commenting on how bad the service was. Next, adding insult to injury, they ran out of photo paper half way through the wedding. They knew how long the event was and how many people would be there, how do you not have enough supplies in order to support the event?!? These photo booth pictures were the favors to my guests (I supplied frames) but unfortunately many people left empty handed. I was really embarrassed by the whole situation. This morning I called Superior Photo Booths to advise them of everything that happened. I did not even get an apology. In fact, the lady who answered the phone was yelling at me and actually blamed my guests for them running out of paper half way through. She stated that they had "no business taking their own pictures" but didn't address that the attendant kept disappearing. If they didn't take their own pictures even more people wouldn't have gotten any photos. I was absolutely shocked. Wouldn't any professional, decent business apologize for their mistakes? I have never ever had any problems with any other photo booth company. This was truly the worst experience I have ever had. Unfortunately, it was also what many people were talking about. Their prices are attractive but since they only work half of the time you hire them for it winds up being much more than you would pay a more reputable, more prepared company. Just great. Used them for two parties in Huntington LI. Absolutely professional. I was a little skeptical since I found them on Groupon. We did have a misunderstanding between outdoor party and indoor party but it was quickly resolved. Both the manager, Diana and Steven (the operator) quickly resolved so I didn't have to worry and continue with my party. Choose Steven as your operator and you'll be pleased. My guests liked it so much that they asked for their contacts. You can't find any thing comparable to the price and the service it just great. Look in Groupon for discount but call them directly. The only reason they are getting even one star is because they were kind enough to refund my money after a night that was a complete disaster with the photo booth. I contacted them for their services for my daughters birthday party. First, the attendant put in the wrong address into his GPS and ended up at the wrong location. I'm curious how long it would've taken him to realize it since I had to call them to find out where he was, they told me he was there setting up already!!! I'm not sure how that was true since he was at the wrong address, which was over a half hour away! He didn't get to my house until half hour AFTER the party had already started. Once he got there, it took him nearly an hour to set up. He was having technical issues and couldn't get it up and running. He FINALLY got it going TWO HOURS into the party. During that time, there was yet another technical issue that came up! The photo quality was absolutely horrible. Pictures were extremely blurry, I could've taken better pictures with my phone. plus, he had the camera pointed at a sheet that was hung over the opening on the blow up photo booth that we originally paid an extra hundred for, why wouldn't he have the camera aimed at a solid wall in the photo booth???? The delay on the camera was so long that people moved and stopped smiling before the picture even took. I will never, ever get that special night back. Extremely disappointed and will absolutely NOT recommend them. read more

They were cursing at the DJ to my guest who told people about the photobooth. They also were 30 minutes away from their office and did not even attempt to get a new device. They showed up early, had a seamless setup (I didn't even know they were there!) and our guests had a fabulous time! The props were new and the attendants kept them very organized so the table was never messy. The prints came out great and we loved having the final usb drive of every shot taken! Our guests loved it and said it was a great addition to our event. The attendants were very helpful and even stayed a little later so my husband and I could take a few pictures after the guests left. We booked the 4 hour Event Package for my son's 1st birthday celebration and it was a total hit. It was my first time renting a photo booth and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. From the moment that I first reached out to inquire about their services up until the very end, they were professional, courteous and very diligent. For the printed photo template, I wanted them to incorporate the same color theme as the party so I was able to send them a digital copy of the party invitation. Not only did they replicate the colors to a T, they were able to incorporate the exact invitation design onto the template. It looked fantastic and everyone was raving about them! The onsite attendant arrived 1 hour before our event and she couldn't have been more polite. She was extremely attentive, engaging and patient with everyone, specially the kids. Superior Photo Booths did a wonderful job at our wedding reception last week. Diana met with my husband and me to discuss the photo booth packages, and she was very easy-going and helpful with answering any questions. During the reception, the photo booth attendant, Steven, was very friendly and professional, and made sure we (bride and groom) got to use it at least a couple times. The photo strips printed beautifully with the design we provided, and he made sure to get one strip to paste in the scrapbook we included with our package. In addition, as we had a Broadway themed reception, we had provided some of our own Broadway props to use. Steven was great about organizing the props for our guests, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. At the end of the party, he gathered up all our props for us, and took a few minutes to put together our scrapbook as well as the digital pictures on a USB drive for us to keep. When I found Superior Photo Booth and called in for information, I thought the service and explanation was great. I used them for my baby shower but needless to say, after you pay and the service is completed, I guess they feel they do not need to address the issues that went wrong or even attend to make it right. It's upsetting, the attendants were nice but I found out from guests that beginning pictures came out bad, bad lighting, cut-off, dark shades etc. When they gave me the flash drive and I saw it at home, the pictures were really bad, some had stripes over the faces, some were cut-off and I just thought it was something with the system. So I e-mailed them and asked to send me a new flash drive with the images correctly and it's been about 3 weeks and have yet to receive it. I really had high expectations but it was very disappointing to me especially for a first time customer using their services. Definitely recommend asking the attendants to do test pictures before starting off, photo booths are not cheap and you want to be able to pay for something worth having and for me, not worth it. read more

I just got married in Brooklyn on 10/22/16. We hired Superior Photo booths to provide 4 hours of service for our guests, during our reception. I had a feeling from the first contact that I had with them, that it would be a positive experience and I was right! Their representative was very helpful in helping us decide what type of photo booth would best suit our needs and was available to answer all of my questions along the way. They were the one and only vendor that followed up with ME before the wedding to make sure they had all of the details correct (which was a nice change from having to chase all of our other wedding vendors down). They also worked with me to create a personalized template for our wedding that our guests loved. The staff member that they sent to work our photo booth was friendly, helpful and great at his job. We could not have been happier with their service and product! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to add some fun to their event and create memories for their guests, they go above and beyond to please their customers! read more
