I'd scanned Yelp to find a plumber to replace my kitchen faucet. I contacted RDZ and after a nice call said yes, though of course I felt the price was too high, but where did I go to plumber's school? Then the phone calls started, some impersonating RDZ and some trying tp take the job. At that time I felt there was some scam going on, and eventually cancelled the job. Apparently I cancelled it with one of the usurpers and not RDZ. Thanks Yelp for sharing my number with so many other plumbers, I'd estimate at least 6. So poor RDZ was on their way, on a Saturday as requested and called to confirm, and I told them I'd cancelled the job. We were all upset but I'd found a local plumber who only works weekdays. I had an unusually available friend who drove from San Diego to open the house here in Julian, CA. I believe RDZ would have done a fine job were they not overwhelmed by Yelp-driven competition, to the point that just had to shut down the process. I called Chris and paid the "emergency" surcharge to get him out the next day.
