Not once have they returned and just a few months ago after all the heavy rains occurred my roof was experiencing leaks. I called and after several weeks finally had someone inspect my roof. Because it was still bad weather they said they would return to fix the problem. I have not heard from them since and this was last Fall. I would think twice before using them because they do not honor their warranty. In addition, be very careful to indicate you want a ridge vent, it was not done so I ended putting up an attic fan.

The Owner Eric said he could get the flooring installed in a day or two but it took a week and they still weren't done and kept running out of materials even though Eric came to the house to numerous times. He is being very dishonest and claiming that we added square footage. He was provided a builder floorplan and he came to the house to provide a quote. He had every opportunity to measure each room if he felt the builder floorplan that we provided was incorrect. We were very patient with the delays and only paid the balance so that the workers would be paid. If he made a mistake in his quote he should own up it. It was added to the contract that all changes be documented in writing to protect both parties. The contract also contains a Time of the Essence clause which was not adhered to. The company was paid over what was contracted for and the job is not complete.

We had our roof replaced by New Image Roofing 3 years ago. The install went very well and their…read morepeople had the job completed in just one day. The finished product looked great. The problem started 2 years later when we developed a leak that was coming in to our pantry. We called to report the issue and they sent our a technician to evaluate. He took the shingles off in the area of the leak and even broke a hole in the decking, then just patched it up. The leak persisted with the next heavy rain and we called again. They sent out the same technician who didn't fix the issue the last time. This time he used caulking and spread it in every crack. This lasted for several months, but the issue continued. This time the leak was so bad that it caused over $5000 damage to our ceiling, walls and flooring. Water was running all the way through to the basement. I called New Image Roofing and they never even returned my call. I got a recommendation from my insurance company and they came out the same day and got on the roof in the rain to check it out. The problem was simple in that the flashing was damaged during the install and they just needed to replace the flashing properly. Ultimately I had to pay another company to fix the problem and then file a claim with my insurance company to get the interior of my home repaired. I would not trust a company that does not even call back; they could have repaired the problem just as the other company did, but it seems they are more interested in selling a roof and moving on. Buyer be ware!!

I've had a terrible experience with Action Roofing…read more Communication with them has been terrible throughout the process and has only gotten worse. This is my first time buying a home and my home inspector suggested that due to signs of leaking and other obvious signs of damage I should have a professional roofer come have a look. Action Roofing came out and gave me a quote. We arranged with the sellers to deduct the quoted price from the cost of the home. Once we purchased the home, we had Action Roofing do the work. About a week after the "repairs" were made, there was a rain storm and water came into the home - damaged the paint on the wall in our bathroom in two places (one of them quite large) and leaked through the ceiling in our kitchen below. I contacted the rep and he said there was no way for them to know that there was a leak. I pointed out in the home inspection (which I had provided a copy to him prior to his trip out) and I showed him what I found in the attic - where it was clear to me that water has come through. He sent someone out to seal around the pipes that stick out the top of the roof (which I was told should have been done already) and we've had several storms since and though it's less, we've still continued to get water in our home. I asked him what else could be done and he said we would have to pay him double the initial quote to get the problem properly fixed... A problem that either should have been noted by him prior to any work being done, or perhaps was caused by the work that was done by them... either way, I'm not impressed. I've tried to get the rep to come to an agreement on the repairs - I've asked him to give some concession on the cost seeing as how this was their oversight, but now, the sales rep has completely stopped responding to my emails. I was willing to pay for more work even though I feel like this should be covered by their warranty, but the cost that was quoted was way to high. I am VERY displeased with the work, lack of response, and frankly complete lack of professionalism and accountability that Action Roofing has shown in this matter. We've since had another roofing company out and they looked at what has been done and said that it would not hold up and they were not surprised that we were continuing to get water in the home. I'm likely going to have to pay another company to fix what Action Roofing was unable to fix. To make matters worse, the company that I've had out since tells me that composite roofs in San Antonio don't generally last longer than 15 years and that's the age of our roof. How is it that I NEVER heard that from Action Roofing prior to having these repairs made? I probably could have had the sellers pay for the new roof or at least a large chunk of it, but no. I made the mistake of trusting Action Roofing. Lesson learned.

My insurance claimed the roof and said it was hail damaged. They gave an estimate of what they would pay. Once Lone Star Roofing looked at the claim, they notice some items missing from the claim. They worked with my insurance to get those items paid for. Which I am very grateful! That is why I have insurance and I am glad I had someone in my corner.
