Carlos walked my property with me, making note of each and every plant, potential pros and cons (attracts mosquitos which eat me alive and he saw that). He is truly the most genuine person I've met in a long time. He takes great pride in his love of horticulture and it absolutely radiates through him. He suggested I come down to his nursery and walk with him, voicing when I really liked colors/heights/etc., all the while asking me if there were certain things I'd like to see or smell. I mean, I just couldn't believe how thoughtful and considerate he was. When he came back to me to me with our plan, I just told him to do whatever he wanted because I trusted him that much. I'm biased, but I feel I have the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood, mostly because it was created from a love of the beauty of plants. De Ruiter technicians have no knowledge of these and will test them in a way that destroys the motor. The windings in these motors can only be tested after disconnecting the control board otherwise the traditional testing with a megger connected to the power input terminal will give a false sign of grounded windings and will destroy the control board. De Ruiter tested my Century Vgreen motor by standard methods and the entire motor had to be replaced. I am out the cost of a very expensive pump motor.

When they delivered the piece, a lacquered dresser, I was on a pretty important call and was a little distracted. I looked at it and it looked fine and they had me confirm that everything was ok. I ended the call and took a rag to clean off all this white stuff that was on there from the transportation. As I began to go over the piece, I noticed that one of the edges near the bottom had a chip about 1 inch long on it. I immediately called the sales lady at the store and told her. In all, maybe 15 minutes had passed since I received the piece, give or take. Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal to me, I didn't even really want anything, I just wanted to point it out to them and see what they'd say. She asked me to send her a photo, which I did immediately. I got a response from her saying she spoke to the owner and that their policy is clear that they can do nothing since I didn't catch the damage to the piece they sent me immediately. That I can understand, because technically I didn't do everything perfectly. But then she finished the email by insinuating that I did the damage. And that insult I do not forgive. I would never do business with these people. You can find everything they offer in this store for much cheaper on the internet. I'd strongly recommend you do so or find another place to buy your furniture, or you might end up like me, really doing nothing wrong, and not only being denied assistance to make things right, but being accused of something you'd clearly never do.
