She made herself available for a phone call within the next day, and got me a quote the day following. While all of that sounds like maybe it's standard, I called other planners who took days to reply between exchanges, if they replied at all! Bianca's timely communication continued as we worked together. She quickly made progress in getting quotes from caterers, reserving fun activities for kids, and setting up systems for RSVPs. Bianca was also extremely reasonable on price and quick to come up with fun but affordable ways to make our reunion feel special. She was also just really cheerful and pleasant to talk to. Sadly the reunion ultimately got canceled (absolutely nothing to do with Bianca's work, just internal disagreements among alum about the plan) so we didn't get to see her work come to fruition but I'm confident it would have been great. Our day started with a Chinese tea ceremony in the barn and then a catered lunch. About 6:30pm, the ceremony with a live music started followed by passed hors d'oeuvre, fresh oysters, and wood fired pizza. The wood fired pizza was very delicious and I enjoyed the blackened shrimp and the arancini. I tried the cider and the rosé, but they were too dry for my taste. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

As an event director in my everyday life, I was convinced that I didn't need a day-of coordinator, but I couldn't be more thankful I decided to work with Daniellee. When we connected ~6 weeks before my wedding, Daniellee did a great job stepping in and managing the plan I had already put in place: getting a handle of my timeline, vendors, and vision for the day and identifying the areas where I thought I would need the most help. My wedding was semi-destination (I'm NYC-based) and Daniellee's knowledge of the Kingston/Saugerties area was super helpful. We were lucky to have access to our venue on the Friday before the wedding to do some decorating and host our rehearsal and Daniellee was more than willing to work with our schedule and dive into help us with decorations and running the rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, Daniellee did everything in her power to ensure I was informed about everything that was going on but never had to stress about the details. She did it all-- from picking up bagels for the bridal suite to putting together healthy and delicious snack trays to assembling 15 eucalyptus wreaths-- she even talked me off the ledge during a freak pre-ceremony rainstorm! She also did a fantastic job managing a complicated shuttle schedule, ensuring all my guests arrived on time and had a safe journey home. Last, but certainly not least, Daniellee is an incredibly kind and energetic person to be around. She checked in on my husband and I throughout the reception, made sure a breast-feeding guest was taken care of and, when our polaroid wall was looking a little thin, ran around at the end of the night taking candids and selfies.
