We met in person once before the wedding to review introductions and accompanying music, our first dance (which he performed live), our musical preferences and the entire run of show. And in the final weeks leading up to the wedding, Jimmy checked in to see if we had any additional requests or thoughts. The process was seamless and it showed the day of. For instance, my mother was insistent that dinner was not a time to be dancing and guests should be able to hear each other from across the table. Mindful of this, Jimmy used the time to play non-dancing music from some of our favorite bands at a lower level than normal.
