But something about being here during winter was...magical. High class, intimate, romantic place for your partner and you to have a quiet getaway. They actually used real shaved truffle on top instead of just truffle oil like a lot of other places, so I appreciate the commitment to the craft. Complimentary breakfast was *chefs kiss*. Fun night time hangout at the fire pits with s'mores and brick oven pizza all night. I need to come back and stay in those cabins, I stayed in the mansion and it was the best sleep I've had in months. But you know what the stand out feature was? The staff. From the greeters, to the bartenders, to the management, they really made you feel special. Efficient, attentive, warm and welcoming. About 6:30pm, the ceremony with a live music started followed by passed hors d'oeuvre, fresh oysters, and wood fired pizza. The wood fired pizza was very delicious and I enjoyed the blackened shrimp and the arancini. I tried the cider and the rosé, but they were too dry for my taste. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

My 5 1/2 year old ran after them. The sounds of crickets and maybe even frogs was loud all night. Our room faced the courtyard, which is definitely nicer than the rooms facing the parking. If you like David Lynch, you will definitely love this hotel.

April was a dream to work with: So knowledgeable, helpful, and always available for both big and small questions/concerns. She even gave us the best last-minute decor suggestions during our ceremony rehearsal. We absolutely cannot imagine the wedding planning process without her! As for the space, we fell in love immediately. Senate Garage was the perfect in-between space for us: Not a ballroom or a barn or a loft space; a space that could be customized, but was absolutely stunning on its own. The exposed brick felt unique and the historic grounds felt so perfectly us. We walked away feeling like we found our venue. The venue comes with a few pieces of furniture, including stunning farm tables and chairs, and a few chairs and a sofa for extra seating! Our wedding was in early November so both the ceremony and reception were indoors. While the grounds are stunning, we absolutely loved our indoor ceremony. It felt very intimate. I had the tiniest bit of worry about having the room turnover between the ceremony and reception, but the Senate Garage staff (including our amazing caterer Bridge Creek Catering) were absolute pros. Everyone was absolutely shocked by how quickly everything was put perfectly into place. The bar service, which is handled through SG/April, was also incredible. We recommend working with quite a few of their preferred vendors, as they know the space extremely well and Senate Garage clearly does a great job of vetting the companies they work with. It will make your wedding process so much easier! You have to come and see for yourself the hours of shaping stones with hand tools to be an outdoor art piece that is beautiful to see, walk around to enjoy. There are park benches around where you can sit and enjoy a snack and take in all the different levels of this outdoor artwork. The entry to the park includes a road that you have to share with in/out traffic. Drive slowly and turn out if needed to let the other traffic pass. Be patient and you will enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Cost: $11 online. In person is $1 extra Tip: 1) Purchase tickets online. As we were leaving there was a sign that said park at full capacity and only those with pre-purchased tickets were allowed into the park. 2) Main parking lot can get full fast. It wasn't until after we parked and went to the ticketing office there was a sign for overflow parking. 3) I did not see a bathroom anywhere, so plan accordingly.
