The location is convenient with other restaurants, a dollar store, bakery and a car wash sharing the same lot. The store is clean, well organized, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I'm not a Spanish speaker but I try my best and despite the language barrier, they are always respectful and patient. One day I'll be able to order my tacos exactly the way I like without having to look at Google Translate lol. The meat market has an excellent selection with fresh, quality cuts and preseasoned meats at great prices, and the produce section consistently has some of the best deals in town. They also carry a fantastic variety of international and authentic Latin products that can be hard to find elsewhere, making it a one-stop shop for just about everything. Don't leave without stopping by the restaurant inside. Their pastor tacos are absolutely amazing, and they have a great selection of fresh aguas frescas and other beverages that pair perfectly with your meal. The prepared foods always look amazing. I've seen everything from roasted chickens to three-piece meals and fried chicken, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced, making it an incredible value. Whether you're grocery shopping or just stopping in for lunch, El Ahorro delivers great prices, quality products, and authentic favorites every time. They also have all the essentials that you wouldn't need like cleaning supplies, and cat litter. I always do a little shopping after getting my brows done and the tacos are a must have. They all are delicious with names like, "taqueria salsa", "salsa tatemada", "tomatillio salsa", and "molcajeta salsa" to name a few. The decor is dated and the store looks old, but it's always clean when I visit. They seem to do a lot of prepared foods. You can get an authentic breakfast or lunch made while you wait.
