I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two! I'll definitely come back at an earlier time since a lot of the pastries were sold out.

The food truck is a bit larger, since it operates as two businesses: La Guerita Roasted Corn and Lesley's Sweet Bar. While the menus are distinct from each other, it's the same folks working on both. That being said, it's among the nicest and most colorful I've ever seen. Together, they sell a variety of indulgent, comfort food. Lesley's side is undoubtedly sweeter and a bit heavier emphasis on fried items from stuffed churros (#2), deep fried oreos and brownies, with a nice selection of milkshakes. For La Guerita has fries, prepared nachos, and and an intriguing big cup called the vaso loco ($12), which is layer s of cheese, saue, elote on top and bottom for the ultimate experience. My hot cheetos esquite was nicely decorated and heart despite the small cup. The counter also is also the land of do-it-yourself condiments. which include various hot sauces, chili powder, etc. The prices of other specialty carts are considerably less, but they're also not doing the same things as this one.
