I have used his servcies many times, and referred a number of bikers to him all of whom have had very positive experiences. For example, I took an 05 CBR600RR in for a minor service which included a change of brake fluid and an oil & filter change on top of the usual inspections and adjustments. Total cost £37.90 for parts and £45 labour (1.5 hours) which I think is reasonable on top of being really convenient. Rich also does tyre fitting at his Shirehampton workshop. I order my tyres online at the best prices and have them delivered to him. Fitting and balancing is £15 a rim. He can do single side swingarm wheels which many places do not. He used to work for a big dealeriship in Bristol, has loads of race and track experience, is polite, well presented and wouldn't scare you in a dark alley (i.e. he's not a tattooed scumbag chancer).

I have had a terrible experience with Bristol Sunroof Centre. I googled Bristol Sunroof Centre…read morereviews before I let them carry out the work, it did not turn up one positive or negative review so I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. BIG MISTAKE! In my opinion they are best avoided! I had a sunroof fitted to a 13 plate £25,000 4 * 4 last March, I paid over £1500 for the sunroof and fitting. All seemed fine until November after a prolonged amount of rain when I discovered a substantial water leak. Passenger foot well carpet was soaked through, saturated even. I had no reason to believe it was the sunroof causing it as it was bone dry around the sunroof. As I believed the problem lay elsewhere I took the car to my local dealership as I believed it to be a warranty issue. Following an extensive investigation they discovered the sunroof drainage pipes had not been fitted to an outlet, all the water was draining inside of the vehicle underneath the carpets and in the foot wells. The technician also reported corrosion to some of the internal wiring looms. They had to totally strip out the car to locate the fault and it cost me nearly £1000 to correct the incompetence. Bristol Sunroof Centre are refusing to pay for the damage they caused, and pay for the problem to be rectified despite me providing them with a written report from an independent reputable well established dealership. £1000 bill so close to Christmas just because they did not carry out the installation correctly. Hopefully this review will prevent others from suffering from such incompetence from Bristol Sunroof Centre based in Hengrove and its owner James Perrett.
