Placed an order online 9 days ago!!! Still no tracking number. Just spent an hour on hold for the rather nice lady I must say tell me that there's a hold up on one of my products in the warehouse. No duh!!!! Couldn't tell me what it was but said they would email me back. I've ordered through these guys roughly 20 times and this is the second time it has happened. They used to give away a bunch of free stuff and had great deals on closeout items, now you get 2 weeks waiting for a shipping number, then 7 days of shipping time. On top of that they charge an outrageous shipping fee for 7 day ground. Started this review then closed the app, now I'm back. It's now April 5th, I finally received my order on March 30th after placing it in the beginning of March. Opened my long awaited box and low and behold I'm missing my creatine!!!! Spent the last 5 days trying to contact them and when I call I get an automated answer "due to an unusal amount of calls we can not accept your call at this time, but contact our help desk via email"...which I did, been 4 days and no response yet. Bought some protein from here once and they gave me a free protein RTD. Drank it, then my stomach started to hurt. Looked at the bottle and the RTD expired back in 2013. Would return again. I just don't recommend drinking a protein shake that expired over two years ago. It might hurt your stomach. read more

This one has a better selection than the Milwaukee, smaller retail store. The people working were very helpful and they had a few bargains but still nothing like the web site product prices. But by the time you factor in their crazy high shipping fees, it's probably about the same $ as ordering from their website. This company has been a NIGHTMARE to deal with! I ordered my product from the website on August 25th. 3 1/2 weeks later, I still don't have my order. Repeated emails have resulted in NOTHING. I've been told 4 separate times that my order was shipped "today and you'll receive your tracking number within 1 hour". I have no order and no tracking number. I've been ordering from SW for about 6 or 7 years now, I'm one of the few people that know their colors used to be purple and orange! (Trust me I have the free shaker bottles to prove it). Unfortunately those were the glory days. They went through a re-branding a few years back, changed the logo, website, colors, etc. The re-branding was great and created a more odern/athletic feel however I feel they lost sight of their goals and original business plan. My most recent order has been pending for almost 2 weeks now. Their email help desk let me know my product was on back order (no mention of back order while I was shopping). I responded for specifics and an estimate on the time-frame and heard nothing. Tried calling customer service and the phone system doesn't work, found the corporate number and finally got a hold of a rep. She was less than enthusiastic and told me they were still waiting on the product from the distributor. I asked for a refund of shipping costs and they gave me about $6 back, shipping cost me over $10. Still no time-frame on the order. I grabbed my computer and discovered several people have been having this exact same issue over the past year. I came to the determination that they're having cash flow issues and can't afford to stock their product until you pay them (back ordering), just an inference on what I'm experiencing because this was never an issue in their prime. From a simple business standpoint, they put too much focus on their retail business and their web business has taken a huge hit. Normally a retailer would start with a store, develop a customer base, and take the business online to expand nationally. SW went opposite. They started online, built a very successful national business, and now they're focusing on physical locations and the business is shrinking. Combine the fact that the phones don't work, they have to back order everything, they're customer service is unresponsive/not helpful and you can bet they'll be out of business by the end of the year. Do not waste your time! Their prices might be a little cheaper, but it doesn't matter when the service is so slow! I placed an order on March 26, 2016 and excitedly waited for the email telling me that they are shipping my order. I get an email from them on April 6 telling me that one of my items is on back order and they will go ahead and ship the other item. The email told me to paste the URL of an alternate product. I responded back within 10 minutes with two alternates and an order of precedence. Here ii is April 12 and I have not gotten a response. I have emailed twice asking for an update and I have called two days in a row to be on hold forever listening to "Due to high call volumes......." I went to this location on several occasions and I am suprised that after 3 years in California and returning to this place was disappointing. First off, the store doesn't have much and is always changing their look. Most of the supplements for sale are over due, mainly due to them buying expired supplements for cheap and reselling them. Second, they never have the key supplements and are always missing items on the shelves. They claimed they can order it, but I don't trust a store that doesn't have all the necessary protein for a body builder. Thirdly, most of their sales or clearance items are no good. I canceled my order after it sat in a "pending" status for a week. Upon cancellation Supplement Warehouse charged my credit card then emailed me a confirmation of my cancellation and stated a credit would be issued within 10 days. It has been over a month with no credit issued and no response from Supplement Warehouse, so I have had to file a claim with my card company. I can't comment on their brick and mortar business.. but their online division is garbage. I use to order from these guys all the time from '07-'12 and never had any issues. Price matching was clutch and I would get my order in a week or less. I recently ordered from them and almost had the same positive experience except my order hadn't shipped for two weeks with no notice of why or even an ETA. Calling their customer service is pointless because they'll tell you "it'll be on it's way soon". It's just a brush off. On top of that, they failed to contact me to inform me about delays -- I had to actually contact them to get them to even let me know something. I had an AWFUL experience with this company. Its website claims to have "Lowest Shipped Price...GUARANTEED!" They even go on to say that they will beat any competitor's price by 5%. Sounds like a good deal, right? WRONG! I ordered $130 of goods from them, two of which I price matched. SW listed the items at $59.95, but a competitor had them for $44.01. After the online match tool adjusted the price and I completed my order, SW sent me an email saying that the competitor was an "invalid" one b/c the competitors adds a handling fee. Bewildered, I called Customer Service and spoke to Ashley. She said that SW has strict policies for pricematching, set by management, and that the Pricematch Team was unable to approve prices submitted from that "invalid" competitor's website. I pointed out that even with the competitor's handling fee ($8) on top of the shipping fee ($17), the competitor's total price ($113 out the door) was LESS than SW's item base price ($59.95 x 2 = $119.90). SW still had to add its shipping fee ($17.95), which brought the SW total cost to $137.85, or ~$25 more than its "invalid" competitor. Ashley refused to budge on the price despite the company "guarantee." I had her cancel my order, and I took my business to XXLMass.com, which provided quick shipping and no headaches. read more

Do not order on-line. The order takes forever and you don't hear from them. They charge you right away and I think that isn't even legal. After about a month of waiting and LONG phone hold times I canceled my order. The agent on the phone was not even one bit apologetic for the wait and lack of follow up. I had already placed my online order before seeing several less than glowing reviews about Supplementwarehouse.com--and feared for the worse. Although shipping was slower than what I am used to from Lucky Vitamin and others, it was within the time frame they specify on their website (3 to 10 days). The complete order (14 bottles) arrived without any backorders, and all the expiration dates suggested each item was from a recent production run. Their communication could have been better during the wait time, but the transaction as a whole was excellent.
