When I wanted to add a couple of solar tubes prior to starting the project, Matt met with me to confirm the size and location of the tubes and was able to quickly provide a revised estimate. Materials were delivered in advance of the project securely and timely. When the weather presented an opportunity to complete the job, the work was scheduled. The Crosstown crew arrived timely in the am and quickly began preparation to protect my property and landscaping during the demolition process. The crew was very amiable and courteous... it was evident they enjoyed working together. When it became clear that the job would continue the following day, the crew protected and cleaned the job site. The crew returned on time again the following morning and finished the job. The worksite was left clean. The only way I knew they were there was the beautiful new roof and glowing solar tubes they had skillfully installed.

I recently used Magnolia Kitchens & Bath to tackle several projects in my home…read more First we put in a new custom hardwood floor throughout the first floor of my home. I was impressed that the floor was installed seamlessly, with custom molding. It looks as though this was a custom floor installed by the builder since you cannot see any seams and no quarter round was used to hide spots that were not cut perfectly to fit. Amazing flooring product and a great installation! Second Magnolia installed a custom kitchen, which we absolutely love. Over a period of 4 years we obtained quotes and designs from multiple vendors and home improvement stores and were never able to get comfortable with the price for the product. With Magnolia I got an outstanding product, at a great price. They also guaranteed the installation and allowed me to meet their installers. The big home improvement stores offered to sell me a product but did not guarantee the installation and would not offer plumbing and electrical work so I would have had to pay for all of that separately. The end product reflected the careful attention to details in the installation, which made my wife and I very happy. My moldings and trim look like it was all part of the cabinets from manufacturing, with no cuts that are filled and then painted and no visible nail holes. Overall an absolutely seamless installation. I would highly recommend this business for any cabinetry, flooring, kitchen or bath project in the greater Charleston area.

I've had my walls painted in the den, living room, hallway, and entry hall. the painter also painted my cabinets on site, and did an amazing job. He indicated he didn't know what type paint the contractor used, because it wasn't oil based because when he sanded it, it had a powdery feel to it, oil base wouldn't do that. He also stated if I hadn't painted my cabinets, I wouldn't be able to wash them. They were not smooth,and had a dull finish with powdery substance on it. On a second note, he stated that the contractor did a great job with backsplash, Mosaic, flooring, building cabinets, and did a good job painting walls and ceilings, and didnt need a redo, and I agree. I paid the contractor $1350 for the painting of the rooms, and $2500 for the painting of the cabinets. Once again it is sad that the contractor cannot contact me concerning these issues or take responsibility. But if he can live with it so can I.

We had Old Cypress come out last December to replace our worn carpet with LVP flooring. They really…read moreeducated me in quoting process on how some companies charge extra for each door opening they have to cut around. His quote included the full job and was competitive. They did an amazing job and were done quickly just in time for Christmas. The house was left in very clean condition which is a plus as some contractors leave a lot of debris and dust. He was even able to haul away our old carpet for additional fee which saved us much needed stress at the holidays. I plan to use again on a wood floor repair this spring.
